Re: It is not so easy to open this tin.... It is called Nethack because it is an evolution of the game Hack, and it was coordinated over ARPANET, and later, the Internet, hence "nethack"
Hack is named such because it was of a genre of early PC games called "hack and slash", due to its emphasis on combat. |

Sometimes, in Nethack, food comes in tins. When you try to open one without a tin opener, it gives the message "It is not so easy to open this tin." |
