This is just a snippet so far of a story that I have kinda sorta been writing. I wrote a big chunk of it over two years or so ago. There is about two chaps worth of a beginning, and then there is a big gap of nothing, and then this, and then I still haven't planned out an ending. It was really poorly thought out, if at all, when I wrote it and I don't know what to add in the empty gap, or how to end it. So here is what I think is the best part of it. I have only sort of edited this since I wrote it.

I don't know how many of you are familiar with SG1 so some explaination probably needs to be done before you read it. In season 6, I believe, of Stargate SG-1, Colonel Jack O'Neil was cloned by an alien race called the Asgard. There was a blocker thing in his blood though so when the clone was actually supposed to be the same age as him (approx. in his 40's) he turned out to be only 15, but still has all Jack's memories. The clone, who I'm calling Jak in this story, was put back in the "real world" to live his life normally.
This story is based in Season 9/10, so Colonel O'Neil is now General O'Neil and Jak I have put as being in about grade 12. A ransom video was sent to Jack from people who kidnapped Jak so through out the story they have been figuring out how to get Jak back. This is beginning where they have cleared the building and now Jack and Sam are trying to find Jak.



"Sir! We're pretty sure the building is completely evacuated. Jak should be the last person in here."

"Good. Now its just the matter of finding him." He started down a hall. He paused.

"Sir?"

"Did you hear that?"

"Hear what, sir?"

"Shh." He held up a hand. He slowly walked to an air duct on the wall. Carter joined him.

They both leant towards the grid.

A faint moaning sound could be heard, as if from a distance.

"Jak?" Jack called into the grill.

The moaning stopped.

"Hello?" A coarse voice called back.

Jack sighed. "Oh, man. Jak, its me Jack."

"Your not making any sense at all."

"Remember? You’re a clone. I'm who you were cloned from."

"Oh, you. Thank goodness, someone I know. FINALLY! What the hell took you so long?"

"We encountered problems. Now where are you?"

Jak coughed. "I don’t know. I think I'm still tied up."

"You think your still tied up?"

"Yeah, I can’t see anything or even feel that much." He coughed again. "Before I could see every thing. It was an empty room."

"How empty is empty?" Jack asked.

There was a pause and groaning. "Uh, so empty Macgyver wouldn’t be able to find a way out?"

"Oh. That’s empty. Chair?"

"Yeah." Another cough. "I don't remember anything else being in here though."
"Hmmm, no good, just a chair wouldn’t get you far."

Carter rolled her eyes.

"I don’t know if I'm still in that room. They could've moved me when I was out."

"Were you awake when you came in?" Carter asked leaning closer the vent.

"Barely. I have no idea how big the building is, but I figure I'm somewhere near the center of it."

"Okay, keep talking, help us find you."

"Okay," Jack and Carter started down the hall, while Jak continued a narration, his voice failing in some parts.

"When they brought me in, uh, we came in a door and went down a long hallway.
There was two other halls that joined up and we went umm right. We went down there and then turned left again. Then....."

Five minutes later Jak had run out if the things to say. Which was a surprise. Sorta.

"Jak?" Carter called.

There was a cough and a weak "Yeah. I'm still here." He was really close.

Jack crossed the hall and put his hand on the doorknob.

Carter pressed herself against the wall opposite him by the door.

Jack nodded and mouthed '1..2..3' and shoved the door open. Carter ran in and swept her gun over the room.

There was no one there. Except Jak.

"Sir!" She called, but Jack was already there and undoing Jak's bonds.

They both gently grasped an arm and lowered him to the floor. He looked worse than he had on the videos.

Both eyes were swollen shut and his faced was puffed up twice as big as usual.

"Daniel, Cam, we have him." Carter talked fast into her radio. "We need medical assistance."

"Carter, find something we can carry him on. We need to get him out of here. FAST!"

"Yes, sir." Sam hurried out the door, in search of a stretcher.

"Jak? Jak, wake up." Jack gently tapped his fingers on Jak's least damaged cheek.

"Jack?" Jak's whole body shuddered as he broke into a coughing fit. Eventually he gasped and caught his breath.

"What took you so long, old man?"

"Watch your mouth, boy. Your no younger than me." Jack turned back to the door.

"Where is Carter?" He muttered under his breath.

"Go find her." Jak whispered horsely from the ground at Jack's knee. He was starting to black out again.

Jack noticed him going limp again. "Jak! You gotta stay awake!"
Jak coughed convulsivly and lay deathly still. Blood dribbled out of his mouth. Jack could almost feel his pain.

"CARTER!" He yelled, rushing out the door. He was moving fast enough that the heavy metal tray aimed for his head missed.

He ducked across the hall and dove into another room.

The man charged in after him, tray raised to strike again.

Jack brought his gun up. "FREEZE!" He yelled. The man froze.

"Jack O'Neill." The man chuckled. Jack recognized the voice and dark eyes from the videos.

Suddenly the man screamed at the top of his lungs and dove at Jack, still weilding his tray.

Jack was about to fire his gun when the tray struck his arm and threw the gun out of his grasp.

Jack yelled as he felt something in his arm that was certainly not a sign of a healthy arm.

The man charged again at Jack, who was now defense-less and hurt.

He caught the metal tray on his shoulder and stumbled back.

The guy came around with it and bashed him on the head.

Second time.

Third and Jack fell to his knees.

Blood poured from a wound on his temple.

The man was standing over him.

He could vagually see the man. His shoulders shook.

Either he was crying at what he had just done or laughing for his accomplishment.

Most probably the later.

Jack sunk forward onto the ground and into unconsciousness.

Samantha Carter had just found a stretcher and was jogging back to where her CO and his clone were with it when she heard an unearthly, blood-curdling scream, followed shortly by a yell of pain that sounded like Jack.

She ran harder, pulling the wheeled gurney along behind her.

She came to the room she had left Jack and Jak in. Jack wasn’t there.

But Jak was and there was a dark haired man standing over him, Jack's gun pointed at his head.

Sam was sure he hadn’t seen her and snuck up behind him.

She bashed the butt of her gun against the base if his skull.

He dropped like a rock.

She rushed to Jak's side.

"Jak! Where's the general?"

Jak was barely conscious and almost didn’t hear her.

He gasped and pointed weakly towards the door.

Then he passed out again.

Carter leaped to her feet. She hurried into the hall, almost running into the gurney she had left there.

She looked around frantically for any sign of which direction Jack may have gone.
She didn’t have to look far.

She glanced in the room across from her and saw a hand just outside the shadow.

She ran in and lifted Jack's head into her lap. He groaned when she jarred his arm.

"Sir? Sir, are you okay?"

"Carter....Get Jak out of here."

Sam heared a commotion outside the door, then Daniel and Cam burst in.

She could see Dr. Lam and about a half dozen medical assistants hovering over Jak already in the other room.

"Hey! Over here!" Cam yelled across the hall.

A couple medic's that didn’t have enough room to help with Jak hurried across.

They saw General O'Neill and dropped to their knees beside Carter, starting to assess his injuries right away.

Jack moaned as one of them adjusted his arm.

"Broken arm." He told the female medic at Jack's head.

"Cuncussion too." She replied. "But I think he's coming around." She added.

Jack groaned and his eyes fluttered. "Sir?" The medic leaned over him.

Jack opened his eyes just as she flicked a flashlight into them.

"Ugh! Gawd, what is with you people and those damn things?" He moaned.

"We're just trying to do our job, sir. Its proticol."

"Need to talk to someone about that part of proticol..." His voice trailed off and he turned his head towards the door where Lam and her assistants could be seen moving out of the room with Jak on a stretcher between them.

"How's he?" Jack asked Carter.

"I'm not sure, sir. I'm sure he'll be fine, sir. That’s your blood in his veins. He's tough."

Jack nodded.

Daniel pulled a gurney into the room and Jack tried his best to stand on his own.

"I can walk on my own." He insisted.

The medics looked at each other and stepped back.

Carter didn’t let go so easy, but Jack didn’t mind her hand on his arm.

He took a step forward.

And his legs almost buckled beneath him.

He fell on the gurney and the medics swiftly lifted him on the rest of the way in his moment of weakness.

"Hey, no, it was just a dizzy spell. I can walk fine."

The medics ignored him and started out the door.

"Sir, enjoy it. You haven’t slept a wink in two days. Your exhausted. Just relax. But don’t sleep." Carter encouraged him.

Jack realized just how tired he was and let his head rest against the cushion.

Involunteraly his eyes started to sag.

"Carter...." His eyes slid shut.

"Sir? Sir! Wake up! Sir...." Her voice fadded and he sunk back into darkness.

And thats all I'm gonna show you guys I know there are alot of spelling mistakes in there, but I really am not in the mood to figure out the proper ways.

Stargate SG1! the original is always the best but the rest are just as good lol

it's about a group of, Scientist that found a gate, that can take them across the galaxy to other gates like that one, using these gates they create alliances and enemies alike, with alien races that look much like us *shrug* good stuff, way better than star trek

lol yeah, but to me it's more of a HOUSE badassness, though Atlantis had that one native guy that was really cool, forgot his name though...

Oh, the guy from SG1 was Teal'c, that guy was awesome lol
