 Not-so-popular SportsI've done skateboarding ever since I was about 8, but I've never really taken a like to it. Not comfortable for me, plus, I'm goofyfoot. I'm good on a bike -- I've been asked to go in comps, racing and just street BMX, but with my family it was impossible. So, I'm looking to try something new. I've always liked the look of a longboard, I mean, it's big and it's cruise-y. On a flat surface, a longboard can reach over 35m/ph easy (I think that's about 70kms ._.). These things are big ... fast ... dangerous .... Perfect  I've never seen a longboarder before around here, let alone a girl. There was one in the vid, but I can't even google an image. So, I am gonna get a longboard one day, become pro [no damn worries] and travel wherever I want with my board. So I am gonna become a female longboarder, for sure. Maybe even the most famous if I'm lucky enough, pftt ;P This was an old thing I've woolgathered many times, but I wanna make this happen. And I will. I am gonna become a professional longboarder and I am gonna longboard all over Australia, and perhaps the world. Cruising low and fast. I like it; different from BMX but still Edit:: I made a mess, I had a serious headache last night, yesh. I fixed it, hopefully ... Happy Shady? _________________

Re: Not-so-popular Sports Whoa whoa whoa.. I was just reading this topic and within the first few posts it drastically changed from "Not-so-Popular" sports to.. bucket lists.. I'm guessing there was a mistake somewhere along the way, lol.

Re: Not-so-popular Sports My cousins and I go longboarding all the time and we're girls. I love longboarding. I have three longboards: a 55 inch one, a normal one, and a bamboo one. Sometimes My dad and I go longboarding to my grandma's house.

Re: Not-so-popular Sports Longboarding isn't common here, no one's really "brought it in". And to add to that, chick skaters aren't common either.
