man i havent played halo in so long dont ask me....... lol but im pretty sure its the spartans with those umm guys with swords man wats there names again!?!? and ya the floods are veeeery freaky they like jump onto you and just POP lol

At the end of Halo 2, there are three sides: the human-Covenant alliance, the remnants of the Covenant (a.k.a. the Prophets and Brutes), and the Flood. Now, the Prophets believe that the Flood are a god and the Brutes and Prophets worship them. But everyone knows the Flood are mindless beings that just seek to spread, so they basically have the Prophets under their control, although the Prophets don't know that. Now, the Covenant forces that broke off from the Prophets, which consisted of Elites, most Grunts, and a few Jackals (all under the command of the Arbiter) joined up with the Master Chief and the humans to stop the Flood before they could destroy everything. That's basically what's happening.

oh...is Halo 3 supposed to be the end? I don't know...

ok...that's what I thought...but the bot-prophet is with the alliance. My friends just beat it the other day, so I got to see the last few cut scenes.

I heard that the needlers are going to be single-wield, more powerful, more homing, and faster in Halo 3, like they were in the first game.

i know this is a very dumb question but is halo 3 rated m? im just hoping for a miricle that it will be t so i can play it but its probably not happening.

Wow, i dunno, but sounds like you have some strict parents, I started M games a few days after i got my ps2, which was about 1 month after the game came out, or a little more.

i doubt it, shes pretty stubern when it come to being able to watch certain show or play certian games. sometimes i play halo at my friends house but i got caught once so now i dont.

I can solve that question of the complete story. Here goes (takes a deep breath):

It all begins with a program called the Spartan program. It was designed to train young boys into these super-soldiers that had a wide knowledge of battlefield tactics, weapons, and armor and piloting systems. They were put into these suits that could absorb more shots than the normal armor and also gave them astounding speed and jump heights.

The program was prompted by a war with Covenant forces, who believed that the humans were their equal to demons, and the Spartan soldiers were just another pawn. The Prophets, who were just after power, told the Covenant forces that humans were seeking to destroy all life in the universe and must be destroyed. So the human-Covenant war is basically a holy war, hence the Gregorian monks chanting the theme song in the main starting menu.

The Spartans were trained at a planet called Reach that was in moderately close proximity to Earth. The Covenant were desperately trying to find Earth so they could attack it and destroy the humans. They knew Reach was close and that the Spartans were trained there. So they attacked Reach and destroyed it. At the end of the battle, much of the human fleet, along with scientists, soldiers, and all but one of the Spartan soldiers, who became known as the Master Chief.

The survivors escaped on the Pillar of Autumn, which was under the command of Cpt. Keyes. The Master Chief was put under the command of Sgt. Johnson. But before the Pillar of Autumn was able to get away from Reach and back to Earth, a Covenant ship, the Truth And Reconciliation, found them and attacked the ship. The crew was forced to evacuate the Pillar of Autumn and the ship was crash-landed on the alien body that was known to the Covenant as Halo. It was a huge and completely artificial structure that was built by an ancient race. The Covenant had established military bases on Halo and was learning how to harness it's immense power.

Halo was designed as a holding ground for a hideous race that even the ancients feared known as the Flood. They were unintelligent, seeking only to spread their race and cause the destruction of all others. But it wasn't the Flood the covenant were interested in; it was the defense mechanism. Halo was built with a sophisticated system that would stop the Flood if they ever managed to escape. When triggered, this system would destroy all living things within many light years of the structure, thereby stopping the Flood from spreading to other systems. But in return, everything would die. The Covenant were seeking to harness this power so they could destroy Earth when it was found.

After reorganizing the survivors, Sgt. Johnson and the Master Chief started digging into the secrets of Halo. Eventually, they discovered the Flood and accidentally released them. Cpt. Keyes, who survived the crash, became infected and died, along with all the soldiers who survived and the Covenant. The only two survivors were the Master Chief and Sgt. Johnson, although how Johnson survived and escaped remains a mystery. The Master Chief escaped and blew up Halo, along with everything remaining on it. That is how Halo ends.

Halo 2 begins with the Master Chief and Sgt. Johnson returning to Earth as heroes. But the Covenant had discovered the location of Earth and were attacking the defense satellites that were set up. The defenses were breached, although several dropships were destroyed by the Master Chief.

They went to Earth, where the Covenant was attacking a city. Basically, the city was destroyed when the ship went into warp. The humans followed it and found out there were many other Halos the same size as the previous one and one huge Halo called Delta Halo. It's basically self-explanatory.

Meanwhile, on Delta Halo, the commander of the Covenant forces on the first Halo was being tried by the Prophets for negligence, causing the destruction of a Halo. They ruled that he would become the next Arbiter, who had all been champions of the Covenant cause and died defending it. He accepted the responsibility and was charged with eliminating an Elite who was preaching things against the Covenant religion as defined by the Prophets.

i dont know how u remembered all of that but thanks a lot you too and does that mean that the elites and humans are together now?? and who is the war against now anyways?? the covenant or the flood? and arbiter is like the general of the covenant isnt??

ok as a side note im so mad right now becuase im still grounded for that stupid thing i did but im gaining back priveleges slowly like now i can use my xbox and stuff but when i asked my dad if i could buy halo 3 the day it comes out he told me no... so im like ok then your gonna buy me legenadary then when u go to seattle hahaha so im wondering can u get legendary edition without pre ordering it??

doubtful. Legendary is like the special edition of Halo 3. I would be extremely surprised if there was another way other than theivery to get one.

In my opinion, i think there will be a halo4.... reason- WHy would you stop making a game that is atracting so many people and is making you company billions!!!

* and as for your story lines, you forgot why the covenant are heading for earth... you should know that the covenant are heading to Africa, where under the sands they find a huge powerful weapon. ( as seen in the fist ever trailer of Halo 3) The covenant, who is now aware that Halo is in fact a weapon, are holding the earth and all the galaxy hostage, Pretty much saying... " If you mess with our plans, we will all die"

* on the topic of buying the game....-Theres gunna be like no way to get any copy period if you didnt pre order.... they're already starting to stop taking orders now so i suggest you hurry.... Halo3 broke the all time record for most preorders ever.... now going on 1.2 mill copies!!!! you wont be abale to find a copy without preordering for about a month after release. -

-Ps. legendary edition is a waste of money... all you get extra is the helmet, and for that you pay 50$ getting the limited editoin still gets you the metal case and extra disks for only 10$ more than the standard edition where-as your spending over 60$ more then standard on legendary-

elve king they will end this trilogy of halo in halo 3 but they will make other series of halo if not called halo but with master chief or they will make a halo mmorpg and there is already peter jacksons halo game in the making and halo wars so we got a lot of halo to loook up too and im not going to preorder halo 3 because my dad wont let me get it the day its release anyways and im living in dubai and when the nintendo wiis were impossible to find in usa we had like 10 sitting in the store, so i think finding a copy of halo wont be a problem and does anyone know who is fighting who right now? and in clear words please

no. it's got different scenes from the game. If you go G4, you can see them. Oh, which reminds me. On release day, G4 is going to have a big countdown show for Halo 3. They are going to give away XBox 360's and have all sorts of Halo related stuff going on.

HMmmmm that's funny the timer on my Halo 3 thing says 2 days, but walmart says the 25 which is in 3 days, hmmmmmm..... I have a countdown timer Halo 3 thing on my facebook page and it tells me the countdown and stuff. I've also put up a Halo 3 picture of master chief up as my screen saver!! I'm SO SYKED!!

I saw this awesome TV spot on Sci-Fi for Halo 3. It got like the clay-animation figures on, but they look really cool and realistic. It's all frozen with a battle going between the human-Covenant alliance and the Brutes, and the Brutes are clearly winning. There are several scenes, but at the very end, the leader of the Brutes, I can guess, is holding the Master Chief and he looks like he's dead. All the Brutes and Jackals appear to be celebrating around him. But then, the Chief brings his head, so he isn't dead. He is holding a plasma grenade. Then it says on the screen "Believe." I know it doesn't sound like a great commercial, but when you watch it, it's really really cool.

Yeah I've seen that commercial, it's pretty tight, I like the music that's going on during it.

MAN I GOT A NEW DILEMMA !!!! alright so my power brick is broken alright? but my frend has 2 he has one in canada and one here... so i jacked his becuase his new one was going to be shipped.... and then his G**A** frend asks my frneds dad if he can keep the power brick and his dad says yes and now the powerbrick is still in canada but his frend is in KSA (saudi) so my frneds grandpa is going to go over to my frends frend house and get the power brick and then ship it over to here but my frend is going to want his brick back right??? so im frickin pissed and i was swearing like a maniac and crap but i think i made my point and i hope i get the brick back before 2 weeks so i can get halo 3 and play

Heh, im not really a Halo fan, all my friends have Halo 3 lol but i dont really mind. Once Crysis comes out, Halo 3 graphics will look like classic pac-man lol. Anyway, maybe if i actually started to play Halo 3, I might like it.

Finally got home and i got Halo 3 now. Its freaking awesome!! I'm taking a break now cause my eyes are sore.

Yep that's what happened to mine, my neighbor's dad got it working and we left it on for a while and then I turned it off and took it home and when I tried to play it, it did the same bs as before!! Then I took it over to my dad's and he tried to fix it like my neighbor's dad did but no luck. Glaedr you should probably just send it back to microsoft. That's what the process of what I am doing.
