"Where are we going again?" said the voice beside Talias
"How many times do in have to tell you Talamar?" "The Varden sent me to find a Empire camp to the west." " there is spossed to be some of Galbatorixe's magicians so it's a high priority target."
Talias was leading a small group of 15 men hand picked by him so they probably wouldn't fail them. He also brought his brother, Talamar.
"Why am I here?" he said
"Because i might need you, besides you haven't left home in a long time, it's time you don't be so cut off from the rest of the world." "we'll be there in a few minutes, get ready." when the camp came into veiw they relized this would be one tough day.


ooc: if you want you can be one of the 15 men but remember there's only 15 so if they've all been taken or been used you will have to come in another way.

OOC: fantastic, another Hadarac RPG. ready or not, here comes Faefnir!

Faefnir sat in a trance in his desert lair. He saw the camp and the 17 figures heading towards it. He broke the trance, then looked at the White Stag. Well my friend, we have another adventure. Care to join me? The White Stag chuckled. Always Faefnir. Shall we head out and join them now? Faefnir nodded his head, then took off. As the Stag joined up with him outside the fortress, the great stone gates slammed shut. Within the hour, Talias and his group were in sight.

ooc: ok let one more person join. ill post tomarrow if no one does i jst like a rp to have at least 3 people.

OOC: i agree with you wholeheartedly. an RP just isn't any good without at least 3 people.

it wasn't the camp that had a few hunderd empire soldirs ahed of them the worried Talias, it was the few thousand urgals that came out of nowhere from the east.
"This is not good" said Talamar, who wasn't fought in years was very intimitated.
"there's only 15 of us, were all going to die!" Screamed The soldier beside Talias.
"well be fine.... hopefuly"

Talias was relieved to see his good dragon friend, Faefnir, land between him and his men and the urgals. mentally, Faefnir started to say something to him. Hold your fire! They are with me! These Urgals are not the monsters you know. These Urgals are civilized and will not kill just to kill. It's good to see you too, Faefnir. Anyway what are you talking about they're charging us? Talias had a distinct un-liking of urgals and found what Faefnir was saying hard to believe.

a soldier walked up behind Talias. "Sir, what should we do?" This soldier was acting very queer and he knew this man so he knew something was wrong. he dicided not to answer.


ooc: stop with the peaceful urgal thing, it might mess this up.

ooc:ok now aeraldi. remember i hand pickd these men so they wouldnt really be to vunerable to mind control.

ooc: um.. how about i luve saphira goes then i will go.

OOC: very well.

Faefnir quickly put his mind into action. He looked at Keralin, then at the 15 battle hardy men that Talias commanded. Then he came up with an idea. Talias, put your men into a circle. Keralin, you guard the northern part. I'll keep the Urgals at bay here at the gate. Then Faefnir settled himself down at the small gap in the temporary ice fortress that served as their gate.

ooc: why a circle? i need to understand so i know what to say. sorry about all of the delay i just cant think of to mych.

OOC: oh come now. basic military theory. a circle is the easiest way for a small group to defend against a much larger force. you only have to focus on what's in front of you and not have to worry about the enemy stabbing you from behind.

"Quickly get into a circle and prepare for atack!" The men quickly obeyed him and formed a cricle and preprared to defend from the on comming atack. the men from the camp satarted to change in large numbers as Feafni held off the urgals. His men held of for some time but is was only a short time before some of the men got killed. It was thn when something started to break into his mind. The shade! he told Feafnir.

the presence of the shade in Talias's mind was growing larger and he couldnt fight and keep a mind assult from a shade at bay at once.

ooc: basicly just a pass didnt reall have much to add on

OOC: i don't know. he hasn't been posting in the Du Weldenvarden RPG either. I wonder where he has gone....

ooc: guys check the leavers section lol. ill let aeraldi go since he needs to attack the shade before i kill it.

Taias took this moment to break free on the shades grip on his mind and shoot a arrow into the heart of the shade with deadly force. Dead.

With the shade gone and the urgals in dissarray, Talias now turned his attention to the attacking men. Feafnir, i need you to distract the men anyway you can, Keralin, while Feafnir is distracting them i want you to concentate on killing the mages, I will be conentraiting on killing the leaders.

ooc: i meant the men not the urgals

Tialias had Talamar protect him while he seached the armies for any leaders. He found on and shote a arrow at him but it blew right over his head. Strange I never miss, he thought to himself. He must be using magic Keralin a little help? Break into his mind and distract him while i shoot him.

OCC: joining as one of the men and Reb.

Reb stood in the outcrop of trees. Her dark clothes not doing much to conceal her. She was leaning against it. She smiled inwardly as Grenda the shade was taken out. " That makes our job so much easier." Reb said and stared at the urgals. " Crap. They can sense I'm still here. That's why they aren't running. Zantya quit what ever you are doing." Reb said.
" I was just making sure she was dead." Zantya answered back in her mind.

[color=#4000BF]Efriam followed Talias and Faefnir. Woodrew was flying far off with the varden and he was here. And then a realization hit him. " The urgals aren't going because there is another shade here." He shouted. He went up to Faefnir. " They can sense it." He told the dragon.

" Jeeze. Why does there always have to be a smarty pants in a group of guys? I mean can't they all be dump stupid brutes? But no my luck runs out. They have to be smart." Reb said angrily and moved back farther into the forrest, but Star wouldn't budge.
" I can't be the only one to see the large golden dragon can I?" Her dragon asked.
" Star not today. You can see Faefnir another time. Right now we've got to go. Those men down there aren't a big fan of shades." Reb said and star reluctantly followed her rider.

sorry i didnt really understand your firt and 3rd paragraph, just tell me what reb and zantya are trying to accomplish with whatever they are doing.

Seeing that keralin was still busy, Talias turned to Efriam. ""Efriam, could you break into that leaders mind to distract him while I shoot him?"


ooc: ll i could come up with.

Efriam sighed. " That's just it. There is no leader. They are just regular urgals now. There is no other shade so we can stop killing them. But there is a shade near by. That is why they won't leave. They can sense it." Efriam tried. " Oh! The men. Okay." Efriam added and did as he was told.

" Star let's go." Reb said and hurried through the forrest.
" No! They are going to kill the innocent urgals." Star said and began to walk towards the battlefield.
" Faefnir won't let that happen. Let's go." Reb said. Star stopped.
" Faefnir, don't hurt those urgals. They haven't done anything wrong. Tell the men to not harm them." Star said through their connection.
" But you still contact him. Great. Just great." Reb said kicking up dust.
" I don't even think they are going to hurt the urgals. Just the men. Now let's go." Reb said.

Faefnir stared out into the horizon when he heard Star gazer's voice. Star! What are you doing here?

As Efriam disracted the leader Talias took one more shot and it landed right in the leader, killing him.

Reb smiled at him. She put her hair up in a ponytail and then looked at the damage. " Zantya quit messing with their minds. Disapear or something." Reb said outloud. Reb's hair took on a new firy glow and Zantya took over. " Fine. I'll hide in plain sight. Zantya said and smiled at them. " Hi. I'm Zantya. Sister to Leth and princess of all Shades." She said. She whistled and Cobalt came up. His tail and mane on fire.
