Personality: very fun-loving and energetic. She loves to solve riddles, puzzles, and other enigmas. Firesong is also very proud and values honor above everything else, which means she won't stab an enemy in the back. She will consider no one her master, and rufuses to be ruled over. Often, Firesong follows her own will, which often gets her into trouble. When it comes to dealing with problems, Firesong will do what she wants to do. Otherwise saying, she is bad at taking orders. She is passionate and determined. Sometimes, though, Firesong wil get too stubborn. She gets very curious, and will question anything. She will keep asking until she gets what she wants. Firesong loves to make sarcastic remarks about everything. She also has a quick temper and gets easily offended. Her anger can ingnite quickly into rage if pushed too far. Firesong also has an attitude of "shoot first, ask questions later", especially when she is annoyed. Like Evan says, she can be the best of friends and the worst of enemies.

History: For the first seven years of her life, Firesong lived in the forest with her parents and her twin brother Evan. There, her father trained her with the sword so she could become a warrior like him. Whe she was eight her family was attacked by Galbatorix's men. Her parents were killed, and she was taken captive, along with Evan. They were taken to Galbatorix (for reasons unknown) and sentenced to death. However, Galbatorix forgot about them, and they spent three years in prison. Evan escaped, and upon freeing Firesong, they searched for a way out. Because of her wandering around, and her never-ending curiousity, Firesong found a dragon egg in that process. Finally, they escaped from Uru'baen. Sage hatched for Firesong, and both Evan and Firesong fled to a remote place where they could raise Sage peacefully. Over the next two years, Sage and Firesong strengthened their bond between each other. She found out she was able to use magic, and finding a person who knew it, taught herself the ancient language. Firesong spoke it so much that she was soon able to speak it fluently. (Sage, too.) It was at this time that Firesong also realized her great gift of being able to transform into any animal she wanted, and it didn't use energy either. They are now resisting Galbatorix with all their strength, believing that Firesong was the last living Dragon Rider...

Appearance: a small dragon. Sage has large topaz eyes, and a longer than usual tail.
