but lotr=tolkien. cp is not tolkien, he should not being putting them together to try and make his book equal to lotr, or he will fail.

He's not doing it to make himself equal to Tolkien... that would be a deathwish. He's doing it because he enjoyed the Aragorn/Arwen relationship so much that he wants the same thing in his book.

No it's not. Copywriting and plagerism do not apply here. What CP is doing is called paying hommage. Even Tolkien took a few ideas from his favorite books to pay hommage to them. Pretty much all wrters do it(especially fantasy writers).

He created his own world and the people that inhabit it, and why wouldn't he get ideas from one of the best fantasie authors ever? You wouldn't?

i have written a book, and i can tell you i didn't influence it off of any of my fave sci-fi novels or action novels, or tragedy stories for that matter. its called uniqueness, and its something this book is terribly lacking

I've pm'd him and trust me he's a very disturbed individual. He wishes misery on everyone including fictional characters because he's experienced tons of misery himself.

I wish I could see your face when book 4 comes out and Arya does't die and gets together with Eragon. His epic romance has to be with somebody and Arya is the only logical choice.

IF Arya were not to get killed become Queen of the elves, and trhe green dragon hatch for her. They why would Eragon leave. Saphira has an acceptable mate. His "love" is there and he would have no reason, so one of those theories has to be wrong for Eragon to leave, she either has to die, not become queen of elves, or not get greenie.

She has said she doesn't really want to become the queen(she said this in Eldest). She has interests outside of that.

Also I think she will leave because Eragon has to leave.. he has to leave because the promise he made to the Menoa tree, that is what she wanted.... for dragons and their riders to leave the land and go far away.

But, she would have to because she is supposedly the next in line to the throne for the Elves.

Yeah I agree with Lightning. Unless CP is planning a love traigy (Which I doubt, those just aren't really his "thing,") Arya and Eragon will end up together. I mean, who else will he end up with?
