 The Ravanger's FuryA deafening roar filled the skies... a savage war cry, craving bloodlust and rampage. The skies were red, as if oblivion itself has swept the plains. Fire and smoke filled the black city below, Uru'baen. A giant figure of blackened scales blocked out the sun. Surrounding it, three more surrounded the large one along with their riders. Bahamit had been injured...just a flesh wound. No the damage meant nothing to him...
A dragon of red, silver, and black encircled him. The riders of the empire.. Murtagh, the young rider captured from the Varden. Kuja the ruthless shade and his dragon of silver Selris. Finally the oathbreaker himself...Galbatorix. Bahamut looked from side to side, watching his enemies movements. They had attacked him, but something was off. There were delaying... avoiding fatal attacks. What do they plan? Are they going to attempt to capture me? No... I have been imprisoned already for 50 milennia, they are fools to think if can attempt to capture me. I will not let such a thing happen again. Several times all of them have tried to take Bahamut's mind, however he held strong. They will suffer greater pains than death before he would be using petty mind tricks. Re: The Ravanger's Fury Daniel urged Jynk on, watching the man his master had surrounded with apprehensive wonder. He was closing the range before calling the lightning to strike the man down, and hoped the man wouldn't see him in time. Soon. Very soon master. he thought. He felt the great king's approval in this strike. Some would call it petty, and some would call it cheating, but Daniel held true to his master's belief: all's fair in war. He was less than a hundred yards away from the four dragons now, and felt the lightning surge excitedly through him. Daniel started to swirl the air in the updraft motion that would bring the clouds. There would be a storm over Uru'baen today.

Re: The Ravanger's Fury Bahamut continued to hover when he noticed the red dragon, Thorn charged in at him. The small dragon tried to use his feet to damage him. With a movement of his large claw, he swiped away Thorn like a fly. While he was distracted, he felt a pair of claws sink into his back. Selris slashed away at him. Bahamut growled in frustration, trying to reach him. Meanwhile, he could sense in a distance another dragon and rider.
Mmmh... this is becoming difficult to handle on my own. If this drags on for too long, even more could show up and even I would be overwealmed. Snapping back into reality. He saw that Thorn was flying back up towards him. He realized that they could only beat him in numbers. Bahamut roared out in anger. _________________ -------------------------------------

Re: The Ravanger's Fury Nidhog heard a huge roar, not one of those weaknling dragon roars that are younger than 2000 years, this was the roar of a truly ancient dragon, one that he would enjoy fighting aganst, or with, he didn't really care. The power of that dragon would be goodto have as an ally,or as food he didn't really care. He left his temporary home in the ruins of a large village and began to fly toward Uru'baen, then he saw them there were four small dragons surrounding a truly large black dragon. He flew up and began to attack the small green dragon staying on the outside of the battle he said, Come to me young one, I will feast upon your flesh!

Re: The Ravanger's Fury Jynk heard the voice and shot out of the way, sensing the danger before it was upon her. Daniel, his concentration shattered, bucked and groped wildly for a hold as she dove. Luckily, he was wearing the straps cinched tightly around his legs, and wasn't thrown off the seat. Jynk swerved around a little bit away, and looked upon the great dragon that had attacked her. Oh great dragon. she leered. Come and get me. Or are your scales too big and heavy to catch me? She took off again toward Galbatorix, Murtagh, and the one called Kuja, nearly batting at the air in her haste to warn the three.

Re: The Ravanger's Fury Bahamut spun about, causing Selris to release his grip on him and crashed into Thorn. While they descened below, Bahamut did not wait. I will eradicate them and leave nothing but ash...
Opening his giant maw, fire-like energy filled past his jaw. After a few moments, he released the hellish fires upon his enemies. A giant pillar of flame-lightning energy shot down. The two dragons managed to escape, but the pillar continued and went down into Uru'baen. It struck the city and a giant explosion made a fith of the city was eradicated. The shockwave knocked Bahamut back along with anyone else who was in the area. He recovered but at a price. A great deal of his strength was gone and he was panting heavily. _________________ -------------------------------------

Re: The Ravanger's Fury Do not test me youngling! Roared Hidhog as he chased after the small dragon. He gave up the chace after a while, there were too many buildings that she could slip through, but that he could barely get his head into. He instead flew strait toward Galbatorix and Shurikan, he hit them with the force of a mountain. He drove he smaller black dragon toward the ground, saying, You power will be mine once I eat you!

Re: The Ravanger's Fury Daniel grinned as the big dragon gave up the chase. To be honest, he had experienced a slim moment of fear when Jynk had slowed to catch her breath. The larger dragon had snaked its head out from between two buldings and almost snagged Jynk's tail. She had barely gotten away, and now the larger dragon was gone again to harass Galbatorix. Jynk levelled out again and looked toward the other large dragon. "Kvekya." he muttered, shooting lightning toward the dragon, which had knocked Thorn off balance.

Bahamut looked around as many more began to join into the fight. He decided to wait where he was from a distance to determine who was attacking who. From what was happening, it wouldnt be long.. OOC: Kinda short/pass Cool 1000th post. Suprised it took me so long, guess I am not as active as I used to be. Re: The Ravanger's Fury Mari and Karden were traveling through the empire when they saw a fight near Uru'baen. Several dragons, most of them with riders. It was a bit difficult to figure out who was on which side, but Mari knew she was against Galbatorix and Murtagh. Sho she drew her sword, allowed Kanarzia to take control and attacked. She felt an immensely powerful force ram against her mind and immediately began throwing up barriers, then suddenly felt the pressure on her mind leave.
Nardia was in Uru'baen, exploring the city, when she saw the fight. She could tell that the blue-green dragon and its rider and the huge black dragon were fighting the Empire's dragons.  Nidhog continued to attack Shurikan, untill his cowardly rider Galbatorix forced Nidhog to retreat because of the light he emitted from his hand. Nidhog turned to flee from the light, when he thought, he swung around and brought his tail down squarely on Shurikan't head. The black draogn fell to the ground unconscioud.
