Anaron rolled away to avoid the large blue dragon. He quickly jumped to his feet and ran over to Kveykva to see that a man was already freeing him. Re: The Whispering Forest Corido shook the man whom he'd just untied, trying to get him to wake up, them put him back on the ground and ran over to deal with Zalda.
Zalda was annoyed. This was not how he had wanted things to happen. He had wanted to kill Corido's dragon, then lure him into the depths of some enormous castle, cave, or other place with visually dramatic scenery, have a long, drawn out fight with Corido, tell him that they were brothers, then immediately after that revelation, kill him. This was not going according to plan. He did not want Corido to die here, without that big scene.
