You know I don't remember reading this. I am assuming that since Brom named her Saphira, (I guess refering to the color of the saphire) her coloring would have been blue. So following this logic, I think it makes sense that Brom's dragon would have been blue and Eragon's new sword would be or should be blue.

So if we go by fathskie's and by my post and the rumors that the next dragon will be green then the egg will hatch for Arya since her magic is green, but I cannot remember if at any time the color of her blade has been mentioned.

i dont think her blade is colored. the colored blades were made special by an elf who no longer makes tools of war.

But I can't find out how and where he should get it.. Rhünon says that she swor never to make a weapon again, but maybe she can open her eyes and see she's needed. Another explanation could be that the weapon is want Eragon founds when he follow Solembums advices?

I found where in the book it describes her weapons: "... that her sword was slim, light with a curved crossguard, the ends of which narrowed into sharp points-..." (Eragon, 304) and it goes on to mentioning the bow as graceful, but nothing about the color of her blade. HUUMMM I wonder why?

I do not think they have better tools. I think that if Orik and the elf get together to forge that blade they would be uniting talents. Orik is said to be a good smith too and elves are powerful in magic. So if they unit talents, one directs and the other forges, the elf would be keeping her oath and Eragon would have a powerful, unbreakable sword.

I don't think they have better tools, but they have better senses and so on .. Like it was alot easier for Eragon to feel the rings small details after he went "elvish"...

And remember usual elfs don't even use their magic when they are konstruktive .. Mostly they use only magic when it's necessary. I think the only way elfs is weak is that fact that they dont have so many children and that fact that they are disapointed with eachother for many years..,

The one who directs would be the Elf smithy and she would add her powerful magic; the one to forge the sword would be Orik and since we are not told that HE can use magic, the magic used on the blade to make it indestructable will have to be done by Rhunön.
