Star Gazer sighed as Teranor flew in little circles about her. He was trying to manage a mid-flight backflip, tail spin. But he ended up just making dust fly. " Do you need help?" She asked after a few minutes.
" No. I'll get it." Teranor replied in the dragon language. He sighed and tried one more time then fell to the ground. His little wings exsausted.
Star couldn't help but grin. She shook her head, then covered his golden body with her black wing. Like his father he emanated a golden glow, but not quite as strong as Faenfir's. And he was just as stuborn. She laughed out loud at that thought.
Teranor stuck his nose out from underneath his mother's wing. " What's so funny?" He asked. But Star Gazer couldn't quit laughing. And soon the laughing bug had bit him and he was laughing as well, until his mother shushed him abruptly. There was a moving in the brush near the clearing they were in.
Star Gazer recognized the scent with fear. " Ra'zac!" She roared and pushed Teranor into a thicket where he wouldn't be seen. She launched into the air and two goulish creatures latched onto her back, jabbing her and trying to bring her down. She roared angrily and spun in the air, trying to dislodge her attackers. She was loosing speed and was begginging to fall back to the earth.
" Mother!" Teranor squeaked as he saw the nasty things draw his mother's blood. He stumbled from the thicket and tried to roar but only squeaking noises came from his throat. He knew he was helpless if one of them attacked him, but he couldn't let them hurt his mother! He tried again and took flight on unsteady wings. He wasn't near as big as he would have to be to hurt those beasts, but he could try. But then one fell from his mother's back and slammed into him, knocking him to the ground. He squeaked for Star as the creature dug a dagger from it's cloak. He clawed and bit his way and felt triumph as the beast's skin tore and he began to hurt. " You hurt her! I'll kill you." He said angrily and began to fight fiercer than before.
Star saw Teranor take flight and saw the Ra'zac take him down. She roared loudly and then manuvered around to where she could grab the beast on her back with her teeth and then snapped it in half, letting it's body fall to the ground dead. Then she dove as quick as a bullet to the one on the ground. She snatched it off her son and threw it in the air and slammed her tail into it's body, hearing bones crack as scale hit flesh. It too, fell to the ground dead. She then headed for Teranor. She grabbed him up and put him on her back as she sped for another part of the forrest. Teranor wasn't harmed, but she couldn't say the samething for herself. But at least her son wasn't harmed.

OOC: Hey, I just read your charry's children's charry apps. I wonder how it'll be like Rpin with them. (This is long for 'Im joinin' )

IC: Eriel laughed with giddy exhilaration as she sped through the forest with her dragon at a speed she never knew she had attained. Her laugh dissapeared and was replaced with unspeakable joy and fear as she saw Feafnir's and StarGazer's children. Emrhyst roared with anger. You do not touch them you scum! She landed next to Teranor and Navarre. Eriel slipped off the saddle and fired an arrow into the head of a Raz'zac creeping up behind the children then pushed another away with magic.

So whats so special about these children? How can they be answer to my problem. Aeraldi asked a shade not too far off.
"Its not them you should be worried about, its the power they hold within them. You have to harvest their power and add it to your own, using the spell I taught you."
So why help me if your interest is in yourself?
"Easy, I have a problem, and its their parents. Get rid of the children and the parents will be so consumed by loss and grief that they will do anything to get them back. I'll arrive shortly and conveniently tell them theres a way, through me."
So their power will help me control myself?
"Yes, a shades magic is more powerful than any other known. Just look at what I did to your little... Inconvenince."
Aeraldi thought of his other half. The shade had silenced him and made him unable to gain control. He thought it was grand to not have him constantly complaining about 'ethics' but he did miss him a little.
Very well.
Aeraldi charged at the children and hit them, throwing them across the land. He prepared to cast the spell just as a great deal of pain emanated from his head.

OOC: Sorry for the God-mod Faefnir, but I think its what you would've wanted.

OOC: ooo! coolio! Star, it's your go.

ic: Even though he knew he was in danger, Talias couldn't help but laugh. He's known Star and Feafnir for a long time, and it was funny to see them with baby dragons. 'Well beter go help them,' he thought to himself. He ran oveer to the family of dragons. "Star, Feafnir, nice to see you again, it seems you took care of the danger." Talias indicated the dead razzac bodies nearby. Talias looked at the dragon hatchlings. "Now who have we here?"

Star dove back down when she saw all who had helped. Her. A total of four Ra'zac lay dead on the ground. She wrinkled her nose at the stench. Her pride was hurt more than her body. She felt as if she can't take care of her own son. But to her delight Teranor was unharmed. He had not even a scratch on his yellow body. She landed in the clearing and painstakingly set him back on the ground.
" Your hurt!" Teranor squeaked. Star smiled.
" Your not." She said smiling and sat down and brought her face level to his head. " I'm glad. Good techniques." She said knowing that the praise would make him happy. " And thank you." She said to all the others.
" I wish you could have ripped off their wings! All the other hatchlings at the mountains said that you could rip wings right out their sockets without much effort! Could I practice that?" Teranor asked. Just like a baby, he was over the trauma like it had never happened. But he still felt wary. That wariness would never leave him.
Star shook her head quickly. " NO! You will never do that. You are much to young and plus, it is harder than they say." She said with a snort.

OOC: Aeraldi, it's ur turn.

Aeraldi hated that Faefnir was coming, but he knew that he couldn't defeat two enemies at once. Not to mention that annoying charm that was cast on him. Thinking about it just enraged him further. He focused all of his rage on finding and destroying this shade.

Aeraldi hated that abomination of magic. To think that he trusted him! He knew he shouldn't have even considered his words in the first place. But the temptation of controlling himself was too great. He knew now that the shade's only goal was power only for himself. He would destroy that fiend if it was the last thing he did. Shades were evil and that amount of evil deserved no mercy.

Aeraldi began to change, not into a light form or into a dark form but into something else. He grew larger and more fierce, his scales flowed with both light and dark. He roared with rage at his foe who upon witnessing his appearance froze in terror. Aeraldi took a breath while charging and breathed a fire more intense than any known. The ground around the shade boiled away into nothing. Aeraldi jumped and drove his talons into the chest of the shade tearing its heart out. Aeraldi roared in victory as the limp body of the shade exploded in a shower of dark energy.
Aeraldi stood for a moment over the scar left in the ground. The ground was forever burnt but he knew life would regrow there stronger than before. He thought that it would look better if nothing grew there, when another thought conflicting the first one came through. He regretted the loss of life in the first place. He spasmed in pain as his mind tore itself back into two. He saw Faefnir through the pain and sent a final message.
This was everything I was supposed to be. And only my anger has brought it forth.

Aeraldi's mind fought for control, now that the shade was dead their minds were conflicting again. But the dark side of Aeraldi had expended most of its energy while his light side was regaining its own energy. Aeraldi had limited control once again.

Emrhyst growled angrily as she saw Shruiken stare at Teranor. She roared in anger and lunged at him.
Eriel nocked her bow and took aim at Shruiken but hesitated to fire as both StarGazer and Shruiken were twisting and turning so much she was afraid of hitting the wrong one. With a frown she lit the arrow in flames and launched it as both dragons parted momentarily.

That is the balance, but only my rage has brought it forth. No, I won't exist like that, angry at everything around me.
Aeraldi stared at the ground, ashamed by his actions. Even though they were necessary. His thoughts were cut short by the roars of Star gazer and Shruikan.
I cannot harm him, I know it is necessary though. Its your turn to use the body.
Finally a battle for me! Thought Aeraldi has his scales changed color yet again. As soon as he finished changing he looked at Faefnir, and said;
Things haven't always been smooth between us, but even I will need your help with this battle. Just don't be in the way of my claws.
He then ran back towards where Star Gazer was.

Talias was devastated by the sight of shurkien, hed never actully eccontered him or galbatorix, and he wasnt hoping to any time soon. he knew better to just waste arrows on him, he knew they would not reach them. "what should we do?"

OOC: it is? OK, I guess I'll go then.

Faefnir smirked, then launched himself into the air. Faefnir slammed right into Shruikan's side, sending him flying off above the trees. Faefnir went up and faced Shruikan's front. He motioned for the others to surround Shruikan so he couldn't go anywhere. You can't win this time, Shruikan. There are three of us against one of you. Shruikan than smirked and laughed evilly. But that can be changed easily with a little... leverage. Shruikan than pulled out of his saddle pouch the squirming forms of Teranor and Navarre, both of them trying to claw at the black dragon. Faefnir first felt fear, and Shruikan noticed this. Hmm, these are beautiful children. My master will surely love these two. Faefnir couldn't do anything at first, but then he started to become angry. Give them to me, NOW! Shruikan smirked, then tucked them back into his saddle pouch. He yelled a tiny bit as his hand was going out. Faefnir smirked as he realized that Teranor had bit him. Your children are going to pay for that, Faefnir! Shruikan than turned and went away. Faefnir felt the anger rising again. Give them to me! He lunged at Shruikan, his anger rising sharply with every second. Shruikan turned and slashed at Faefnir. As he hit Faefnir, his anger surged to an unsurpassed amount. He growled, then his eyes went blood red.

OOC: also, Teranor and Navarre are in Shruikan's saddle bag and Faefnir is having one of his tantrums. I suggest you edit it.

"Feafnir we have to stop Shuirikan, lets go!" Feafnir didnt respond he just stood there and looked really, really angry. "Feafnir? are you ok?" Feafnirs eyes started to turn blood red as he became more and more infuriated. "Feafnir? Feafnir?"

IC: Emrhyst roared at Shruikan. Filthy beast! Give them back! She charged him, riding on the air currents. As she got close she swung her tail back and launched it at Shruikan, knocking him up back to Star Gazer. Star, how 'bout some volleyball. I don't think he's learnt enough from the last him we did that to him. Emrhyst smirked as he flew through the air.

Talias watched shurkian get brutally beaten like a stuffed animal owned by the most frustrated child in the world. "Feafnir, you have to get a hold of your self, youll kill us all!"

Aeraldi held on to Shruikan's back as Faefnir rammed in Shruikan's side. The amount of force Faefnir hit Shruikan with gave Aeraldi an idea. It wasn't his smartest but it held enough potential that he disregarded the risks. He reached his mind to Faefnir through the link of the small shard on his forehead. He tunneled his way into Faefnir's mind and drew on the power that Faefnir's rage gave him.
You don't need all that energy, allow me to take some off your head!
Aeraldi felt the power flow through him, seeping through every muscle in his body. His eye took on a mildly red appearance, but kept its dark appearance. He watched as his claws were almost dripping with blood and darkness. He became the imprisonment of evil.

Talias reacted as quick as possible to araldi's sky dive. he shot 2 arrows at him before picking up the two hatchlings and diving for cover oder a large rock.

Aeraldi felt the blow to the side and reacted accordingly. Plunging his claws into Faefnir's side, leaving a scar larger than the claw itself was and had darkness seeping slowly from the wound. He kicked Faefnir in the stomach and bit off a section of his wing. He watched as Faefnir fell towards the ground.

OOC: You just skipped Star! Btw i bet that was painful lol

Faefnir roared loudly as Aeraldi ripped off a part of his wing. He quickly healed it and the wound in his side. Aeraldi, control yourself! He angled back upwards, then breathed ice in Aeraldi's face. He rebounded off of Aeraldi's belly with his back foot, leaving a scar in the soft scales. Gliding on the air currents, he angled upwards again and turned to face Aeraldi. You're move. He braced himself for the impact.

Aeraldi roared as the intruder to his mind and soul started drawing the power away from him. He knew that Faefnir couldn't keep it up forever though. Aeraldi held on to the anger as best as he could, refusing to let go of the power taken.

Let it go! We cannot hold that power! Even now it is destroying us.
Never! It is my power, I have a right to every ounce of strength that is not protected!
Then you are saying that you are not strong enough by yourself.

Aeraldi faltered for a mere second, his mind slipping. That was all that was needed though, the rage of Faefnir the Great was taken away from him. His scales turning grey, his appearance becoming more noble. His claws changing to white, his spikes shortening. Then his body shrank to its original size, changing constantly from black to white. All his strength failed and he fell through the air. No movement was being made.

It is over. Now let me have control so I can apologise to the rest.
They will all pay for the insolence! I will kill them all!

Aeraldi fell both sides of his mind fighting for dominance that neither side could take control. And neither side giving any ground.

Talias, still hiding under the rock, regained his breath with the help of Eriel. Talias then did the same to the still suffocatingd dragon hatchlings.

Both sides of Aeraldi kept fighting for dominance, one determined to destroy the other frantically trying to warn. The colors around his scales kept shifting from black to white. At some times there was both colors, yet they weren't harmonious they looked as if they were trying to push the other aside.

Give me control NOW!
I won't! I know what you're going to do with it!
Exactly what I always do with the body so handing it over shouldn't be too difficult!
Never! You are more angry now than ever. I won't allow you to destroy what we have tried so hard to achieve.
I thought we were trying to bond to each other, THATS our main goal, you just seem insistent on destroying our body.

Aeraldi felt another consciousness touch the outside of his mind. He quickly pushed it out before his other side managed to get hold of it.
Aeraldi kept fighting within himself, he felt the touch of another yet it was pushed out of his grasp.
Both sides kept fighting determined for victory, yet they didn't know that the body they were fighting for was dying.

OOC: Hooray! your're finally back! Net crashed? Or bf alert? A pass turn.

IC: Eriel nudged Aeraldi slowly, poking his underbelly scales. "This is fun..." She mused softly then climbed onto Emrhyst. Emrhyst nudged Aeraldi. I don't quite like black Aeraldi... the white one's nice though. Emrhyst growled. Come on Feafnir, put them under a spell or something.

Aeraldi felt the Faefnir's mind touch theirs. He laughed maniacally. You stupid Dragon! You're in my field now just made that biggest mistake EVER!
Aeraldi watched in horror as Faefnir inserted himself into his mind. Get OUT FAEFNIR NOW!
It's too late, your power is mine! Aeraldi followed the connection back into Faefnir's body and started draining power as fast as he could.

Aeraldi's scales finally turned into a solid black and he rose off the ground. You are all going to die for your insolence!

Emrhyst growled softly. She thought softly then landed behind her rider. A second later, a glow surrounded all of them, her eyes turned blacker then whiter again as she performed the spell. Eriel glared at him and placed one around Aeraldi too. "Losna..." She said softly, letting green aura's spread from them while a silvery white one seemed to enter Aeraldi's scales.

I can't! I'm not strong enough!
That's right you're not strong enough! You were never strong enough, all your strength comes from me!
No I am strong on my own! Aeraldi said defiantly.
Face it weakling, you were never stronger than me. The only time you were able to beat me was when your own anger forced you into fighting! But since you never fight you will never be strong enough to merge! Aeraldi said mockingly to his other side, all the while still drawing as much power from Faefnir as possible and directing it into empowering himself.
Aeraldi felt his own anger rising but he kept it mostly under control. And you will never be stronger than me because you show no mercy! You never once shed a remnant of kindness. You will never have the satisfaction of having a friend or having someone that will even care for your existence! Your life means nothing if nothing else knows about it. Aeraldi channelled Faefnir's power inside of himself. He didn't take more from the mighty dragon but used the power that was already taken.
Aeraldi was shocked by the forcefulness of Aeraldi's words. He felt his control slowly slipping away, the power taken being siphoned.
We share all things! Body. Soul. Power. Everything you have can be made my own! I was always stronger than you, because I understand the need for kindness. Aeraldi's scales shifted to white, his body shuddering from the force of both minds.
I understand more than you think. Kindness is just one of those things that sickens me. The order of life is that the strong survive and the weak die! Kindness only seeks to disrupt that order.
Then you are blind if you think that kindness disrupts the order. It was the need for kindness that created us and kindness is the only thing that will set you free. Aeraldi let go of the control of the body, allowing it to change back to black.
And only your anger will set you free. Said Aeraldi. Yet you find it inexcusable when someone loses control and until you show your anger we will never be one. Aeraldi's words struck Aeraldi to the core.
Unless you can show some amount of kindness we can never be one. Aeraldi's words settling in to his other side's.
We are two opposites, each having our own beliefs. We are two. He said weakly.
Yet we must be one.
Yet we must be one. They said in one voice. Their body fell lifeless to the ground and became grey. The light and dark sides both fading from his mind, giving birth to a new conciousness. Yet no movement was being made.

Faefnir's eyes widened as he was pushed out of Aeraldi's mind and forced back into his own. He rushed to the now gray body. Aeraldi! Wake up!
