Skills: Sword: Calantha was horrible with the sword until Mel disappeared. After Mel's disappearance Calantha tried so hard to succeed that she quickly surpassed all the other elves in the small outpost. The reason Calantha chose to train so hard was not to fight Mel, and get revenge, but to fight Mel's enemies. Calantha perfected her defending skills until she was able to defend herself, and a few others at the same time with the sword. She also perfected her attacking skills so she could take out several opponents quite quickly.

Magic: Calantha is good with magic as far as elves go, although she has no specialty in her magic. Magic takes a bit more of a drain on Calantha's energy than for most elves, but her skills are more refined than most, making up for that energy loss. Calantha has a nearly perfect grasp of the ancient language, but is lacking somewhat in how well she actually uses them, sometimes making her magic a little faulty.

Character Personality: Calantha is cheerful, and never looks on the bad side of things. She is always optimistic when things go wrong, but she knows where to draw the line. Calantha is very caring, and hates to think bad of anyone. She will justify the wrong behavior of someone until she herself is convinced that they are really guilty. Calantha used to be very bad everything she did, but she only let that motivate her. What got her down was others making fun of her, or scolding her for it. Not because she couldn't do anything right. When Melantha disappeared, Calantha changed. For better or for worse has yet to be seen. Calantha began trying very hard to become perfect in all that she did after Mel was gone. She believed Mel was justified in killing the old elf seer, and rather than trying to get Mel back on good terms with the elves, she plans on doing something completely different... If her idea doesn't take away Mel's darkness, then Calantha will choose a new path. If one thing she does fails to work out, Calantha doesn't get discouraged. Rather she gets motivated to come up with a better plan. When Calantha is angry she still smiles, which can be a terrifying thing if you're not used to it, not knowing if she's really angry, and saying anything could make her more so, or if not saying anything could make her angry.

Character History: Calantha's father died a few months before her birth, so her mother chose to go out alone in the deep places of Du Weldenvarden to give birth. The birth was easy, and a few minutes later, after completely healing herself, and restoring her energy, Lucienne carried her newborn child towards home. Suddenly Calantha began crying, so Lucienne began singing to calm her down. A voice of a woman in pain called out "Who's there?" so Lucienne walked quickly into sight of a woman with wings giving birth. The woman requested Lucienne to take in her child, and raise it as her own, which Lucienne agreed to knowing that even magic couldn't save the woman now. The woman gave birth, and named the child Melantha. Lucienne blinked in surprise. It was enough like Calantha's name to make people think the two girls were twins, and they were only maybe an hour apart in age. Everything had worked out perfectly...

As Calantha grew older she found nothing she did seemed to succeed, but she was alright with that because Mel always thought she was wonderful the way she was. Often times when Calantha was verbally abused for being such a failure she would run off to cry by herself, only to be found by Mel, and be comforted. Calantha loved Melantha as much as she loved her mother, and would do anything for her sister. Calantha never thought bad of her sister, even when she began to spend less time with Calantha, and spent more in the forest, away from the elves. One day another child was added to the family. A little girl named Eliora. Mel began spending even less time with Calantha, and much more with Eliora, but Calantha didn't care, because Mel was still always there when Calantha really needed her. One day soon after Eliora became part of the family, a woman with black wings showed up. She immediately became a friend to Mel, everyone assumed it was because they were both 'oddities' since they had wings. (Birds of a feather wings together...) It was then that Calantha began to really notice a change in Mel's heart. Mel was still always there for Calantha when she needed her, and she spent just as much time with Eliora as before, but she had lost interest in the sword, and began disappearing when the time for swords lessons came in favor of learning to use the scythe. The came the old elf seer, who was able to detect evil hearts...

The woman of black wings was accused of being evil, and excecuted in front of Mel's eyes. That was when the real change came. Mel began locking herself away, coming out only when she had to. Little by little she spent less, and less time with Calantha, and Eliora. Then one day she emerged from the home, and her wings were almost black. Melantha killed the old elf, and ran for it. Everyone was shocked - Calantha probably the most so.

A long time passed before Calantha recovered enough from the shock to get back to her hold lessons. Calantha believed that Mel had been perfectly justified in what she did, but she knew that if she didn't find her sister in time then Mel would certainly become evil. Calantha suddenly had a motivation to learn, and suddenly she was able to do things well. Calantha also spent a lot of time with Eliora, showing her what a true best friend and sister was like. Several years later Luccienne died from an infection she had gotten the day of Calantha's, and Mel's births, making Calantha Eliora's mother in addition to sister. Calantha handled the situation well, but finally the day came when she felt she must leave, and look for Mel. She knew that Eliora was old enough to take care of herself by then. Calantha left, telling Eliora that she was looking for her best friend who had disappeared a long time before, but promised that she would return quickly.

When Calantha finally returned home for a visit the entire elf outpost was destroyed save the home where Calantha, Mel, Eliora, and Lucienne had all lived in. Calantha knew that Mel had returned, and had most likely taken Eliora with her. Calantha set out again, sure that she would be able to find Mel without any trouble now.

Weapons: - Elf sword: A long, slightly curved sword. Calantha is able to switch from using one hand with it, to two hands. The hilt is covered in a light purple silk,and the blade has white silver veins running along the sides.

Magic: Pinkish purple

Dislikes: - Evil, war, being weak

Weakness / Fear: -Calantha is afraid that she will find her adopted sisters too late, and will have to kill them. Calantha often let's her emotions control her in battle, exhausting her very quickly. Bunch of other weaknesses that will be shown as I RP with her.

Animal Companions: - None

Character's Physical Description: Average height - around 5'5 or 5'6. Waist length hair as straight as a board. Partially slanted eyes, tapered ears. Calantha wears a tight tunic, with leather armor over it, and tight leggings. Calantha has a small scar behind her right ear which she got from someone hitting hard for doing something incorrectly as a young child. Calantha usually wears a smile, despite when bad stuff is happening to her. Calantha has long arms, and fingers, which help her in playing instruments, and painting pictures.

Dreams for the Future: - To find her adopted sisters, and prevent them from becoming evil.

Reason for Dreams: - They are all the family she has left, and Melantha was her best friend before disappearing.
