I was just brosing Amazon.com, and I saw that the relese date for the Eldest paperback is Nov 30, 2005!! That's really close, and I was excited! Though you all might be too.

Hang on, when the paper back comes out, do they take hard cover off the shelves? It's just that I was looking for Eragon hard cover, and I couldn't find it anywhere. The same goes for Eldest, and I asked at the till why there wasn't an eragon or eldest in hard cover, and they said because the paperback was nearly out.

Not where I live. They've packed them all away since the paperback came out, and when I asked about Eldest in hardcover, they say those are gone too because paperback is coming!
