we have a 20% rain chance for today & tomarrow. but i don't think it'll rain. i welcome it though. we haven't had any in a few days. i like rain as long as it's not every day for weeks.
but it's suppose to be high 80s today, 90s tommarow.with humidity you can add atleast another 10 degrees to that though

Today was hot! I couldn't belive it!!!

I am in the Chicagoland in Illinois, USA. And today was so HOT! I felt like screaming. I moved from Puerto Rico, which is a small island in the Caribbean, when I got fed up with the heat and the muggy humidity.
I went to California and it turned out to be HOT too! Granted it was not muggy, but it was hotter than home.
I lived there 2½ years and came to Chicago in December. BLISS, it was nice and cold and wonderful! Until the summer came
This summer promises to be awful. Today I had the AC running early and now the power bill is going to come Very, very high! I don't like to sweat! I don't like to feel muggy! I like the cool or cold weather!!!

It was chucking down hail so hard today that it looked like snow lol I had to go and rescue my nan from the garage with an umbrella! The hail nearly tore through that as well

When we have hail we kind of freak out. A tornado warning usually follows and since I don't have a basement and have never experienced one, I am really terrified. It's not fun to hear the sirens wailing and huddle into a bathroom until the danger is over.

That's just the point. In Puerto Rico we have hurricanes all the time. So you say, "here we go again" and you get ready to sit it out. I had everything I needed to wait until power & water was restored after the hurricane. My last child was born 2 days after a hurricane hit the island. But here, I never been through a tornado. I am prepared as best I can. I have a suitcase prepared we keep ready with clothes. a first aid kit, a battery powered radio, water and such. But when the tornado season kicks in, I am terrified that we can be hit by one during the night.

every time it rains here the temp. goes down 20 degrees or nore.

well, theirs the crazy red neck next door that blasts the blue grass and dogs that bark all niht long. i also have to see the mountian of beer cans on the way to my freinds house. theirs also all the stupid teachers here and the only way to do something is to do it your self in school. ( regarding rules ) and alot of diffeent things.

I'm really sorry. I know what it is to have undesireble neighbors. And schools, I cannot say because I was brought up in private schools all my life sooooo. (My parents thought I was too unruly to go to a public school).

Then you must be feeling like I do. Hot, crabby, muggy and grouchy. Here the temperature is 94º but the real feel is 97º. I have not been outside for anything and the AC has been cranked up all day long.

If I wanted to go to the beach, I would have to get my parents to drive me a considerable distance south, the walk around in the cold with the wind blowing the sea water in my face which stings my eyes, hurting my feet on the pebbles and if I wanted to go in the sea, I would probably freeze to death or get eaten by an oversized crab. Last time I went to the beach, I found 2 dead fish in a tree...
