lol! that's normal isn't it? because it's before the LOTR. I found it less complicated... LOTR is more of a book you read when you have a week of rain in the holidays, not so much a book you fully read with excitement

Ye i agree it is definatly less complicated though the LOTR's is an exciting book and they took so much out just to make the movies!!

I hate it when the films are different! like the harry potter ones!
i loved the hobbit, though it was a bit slow at the beggining, and can drag abit, but when you've read it all you can see it was totally worth it.
Don't you hate it that some people never read, and think that books like ' Jaqueline wilson' are really long? It annoys me so much! they are missing out on the joys of books!!!!

Reading LotR was pure torture for me. I had a VERY hard time keeping awake to read them, since I read the Hobbit first and loved it I thought it would be the same with LOTR. I would read the Hobbit again in a heartbeat, BUT NOT LotR.

i read The Hobbit a few months ago, and it was great! i couldn't put it down! LOTR was different, though, not as much adventure, it seemed like

When I was six I saw the cartoon and thought that it was the best thing since Star Wars - I didn't know it was made first - And when was nine I read the Hobbit... I thought that it was possibly the greatest book I had ever read... but I wanted more! I NEEDED MORE, where did the ring come from? Who was the Necromancer? What did Gandalf HAVE under that hat?

And then I found the LOTR books... I cried when I finished that series. I was SO not ready for it to be over!
