Destination Truth
Okay. Anyone who is interested in the paranormal or cryptozoological creatures (such as yeti/bigfoot/lake monsters/etc) needs to watch this show. It is amazing!!
Basically, an adventurer named Josh Gates takes his research team to remote locations around the globe (and every time they get the worst vehicles possible, quite by accident) and they try to find evidence of local mysterious creatures/mysteries. Some of the evidence they have discovered is amazing, such as that in this season's premiere, and in last season when they found a yeti footprint. (Which is now on display at Disney World Orlando at that one mountain ride, forget its name).
Not to mention Josh is absolutely hilarious and witty, and just watching it for that reason makes it awesome. And of course, there's the adventuring, exploring, and doing dangerous and risky things like explore the jungle at night, climb rocks, jump into flooded caves, scuba dive in places you might get lost and there might be a monster, and wade in river rapids in the jungle dozens of miles from the nearest medical help, in which you must walk.
So, basically, my second favorite show and pretty amazing all around. Any questions/comments, please speak up.
And I'm watching out for your charries, ILS. *****Faefnir***Navarre***Rimfax*****

You mean Expedition Everest at Animal Kingdom? I saw that bigfoot print thing, I don't think it's real ...
When is this on?

Yeah, that's the one! And yeah, it's probably real. I watched the episode, I saw them find it. There was no one else in the area, and they took the print to a primatologist. The print was actually made by a thing stepping from back to front, and there were a couple more, half-print kinda things where the foot didn't sink in all the way. And there were actual lines where the toe prints and such would be. The primatologist couldn't identify it, but he said he's almost certain it's real. So awesome! And then Disney bought it, which is kinda cool, I guess. lol
Destination Truth is on at 9:00 PM Central Time on the SyFy Channel. If you have a tv guide, or a menu thing, or the internet, you can look up exactly what time it's on. Oh, and it's on Wednesdays. Seriously, I love this show. lol

I love that ride And it's probably the only ride when waiting in line isn't that bad, cause of all the artifacts they show =D
Didn't they do an episode where they were looking for elves?

lol I want to go on that ride, but when I went to Disney World (many a year ago) I didn't get the chance. Oh well.
Oh, that episode was hilarious. And creepy, 'cause they heard these creepy giggling noises and their equipment was going haywire. "You know, when I was a kid, this was not what I imagined I'd be doing with my life. Hey, when I grow up, I want to hunt for elves!" ~Josh

You need to go on it! It's one of the best rides at Disney!
I remember this show, my brother loved it. He always told me to watch bit but I never did lol
Isn't Iceland near the North Pole? Maybe they think Santa's helpers are there lol

Iceland's up north, but not really close to the Pole. It's just to the south of Greenland. They had like tiny little houses set out in the woods to appease the elves, though, and it was kinda odd. Just, like, okay... lol
And this Wednesday they're going to investigate King Tut's tomb. Very cool. I've seen some awesome previews which include horseback riding! Yay!

Re: Destination Truth
Actually, they are doing one on werewolves in an upcoming episode. I don't think in Michigan or around here, though. They haven't done a lot of shows, and they mainly go to places that are very remote or hard to get to. (I think that has to do with Josh being an adventurer and finding other places boring. It doesn't say that, but I suspect as much. )
And they've done a few on various vampiric creatures. No vampires, though. It's mainly strange animals/humanoidish animals, with a few episodes with spirits/ghostly activity.
I think they should do one on the Bray Road Beast of Wisconsin. That would be awesome! lol

Re: Destination Truth
lol nope. It's also called a wolf-man, werewolf, or wolf-bear. It was first spotted along Bray Road, and since then more people have seen it.
It's really awesome, except it freaks me out. 'Cause everyone who says they saw it says it didn't run away. When they stopped their cars to watch, the thing just stood there, staring at them, and then started walking away. I thought that was a little creepy. I'm glad I don't live in that part of the state.
Oh, last week's episode was creepy too. They were on an island in Mexico with thousands of dolls strung up in the trees and in this shack. I think baby dolls are creepy to begin with. (They were there because two people drowned, and apparently their ghosts were there or something.)
Anyway, they were in the shack, and Jael said she thought one of the dolls might have closed its eyes. So Josh, Jael, and the camera all turned towards it. Josh was like "Okay, if that thing opens its eyes, I am out of here." He began inching his radio closer and closer, apparently about to touch it. And when he was still about a couple inches away, the doll's left eye flew open. Josh and Jael freaked. It was really creepy.
