Considering Arya's feelings towards Eragon, probablly not. I think if they get together it will be at the very end of the book and that wouldn't leave time for a kid

That would be great if there was a fourth book, but i am sure that it will either take at least 3-4 years to come out or it isn't going to happen, so keep on dreamin

if Dragon mating is anything like it is in Dragonriders of Pern (the series which CP got the idea for the Dragon-Rider conection), they are going to go all the way, caught up in their dragon's emotions. This doesn't affect emotions much afterward though.

Well the human body could add some traits to it, and it is possible. The strength could boost the elven side and it would be very strong.

But it is related to her having a child though, we've already made the decision on if she will have one and now we are describing what the child will be like if she has one.

the human aspec would only weaken him. at the least, he will be as powerful as other Elves. if not, weaker.

don't argue with me about science. u'll just get a wake up call. if you have a horse and a zebra, you get a mix of attributes. horses being faster (i think), you can only get a horse/zebra hybrid that is as fast as the horse, and most likely, it will be slower.

No hopefully the attributes will be added to it. Not that it will be lessened.

Scarecrow. but he/she might just be more elf-like because of Eragon's transformation.

Maybe because elf is so far the most dominant species out of both of them since Eragon has elf and Arya is elf. So I say it'll be more elf. And the human strength will add.

If they did have a child maybe it would look like, be as quick and as strong as an elf but instead of the reserved personality it would be more like a human.

the reserved personality is caused by elven ethics, because you do not want to do something rash if someone can hold a grudge for centuries.

I have read ALL the 17 books in the Dragonrideres of Pern series and the ONLY analogies CP uses for his books are the mental-talk between rider and dragon, and the bond that is created between the two from the moment the dragon hatches. That's about it!!!

To this point, will Christopher Paolini take any relationship between Eragon and Ayra up to having a child together, AGAIN, we don't know!!! It may or may not happen. We will have to wait for that third book!!!




As the story stands, she is more concerned in defeating Galbatorix, not in a relationship with Eragon. The clues, as I see it, all point towards her ending up with Eragon. But just because she has said in the AL, all she feels for him is friendship, does not mean this can change. And I don't know I can of picked that change starting to take place at the end of Eldest!! And i have a feeling it is possible they will get together at the end of the third book although something really bad must happen in the third book cause paolini said he had to think more on his writting and 6 chapters took him 5 times as long as it normaly does for him to write. hinting at alot of emotion and drastic events compiled all on top of eachother. i don't think that such will happen, if Ayra has a baby at all, it'll be with another elf, Eragon may have the elvish looks, strengths, etc. but he will never BE elvish.

it may happen in Lord Of The Rings, but it won't happen in book 3, and that's that. i doubt the fact of them having a baby
