Rangers Legacy: Kadaj has the skills of a ranger. Of the wilder folk. He can make healing salves and potions just from the herbs of wild plants. He is a avid hunter and can pick out things in the wilds that don't belong. Most ambushes he is aware of long before those trying to trap him even are aware Kadaj is on to them. To sum it up, the wilderness is his home.

Myrmidons might: From training most of his life to be a slayer myrmidon. A slayer knight. He is skilled with the sword. One handed blades, two handed, even the sword and shield. Up against fellow humans he generally has the advantage. Higher races like elf's he is at a disadvantage as humans are naturally slower and weaker.

Sure shot: As the harsh world was. When thrown into the water you either sink or swim. Archery Kadaj had to learn fast if he was to survive and protect his family. Learning as he went the man had developed acute senses with the longbow. Skills that rival even the elves. 200 hundred meters out he can hit a man in the heart and head with little effort. Further he has to concentrate more. If the need arises Kadaj can even fire two arrows at once to hit multiple targets.

Siblings: - The king has sired many children in his long life. Kadaj has not met any of them. But he knows he has siblings.

Character Personality: Kadaj was once a man that was ruled by his honor. After some life changing events his personality suffered a drastic change. He is still honorable to a degree. But now he is just a survivor. He does not trust anyone outside of the family circle. In his opinion, if anyone becomes his friend they become family. Lose that trust and you wont be getting any second chances. He likes to get straight to point and not beat around the bush. He is the kind of guy you bump into on the street and get a smart remark from like "What are you looking at freak". Though he may seem callused to outsiders. Once you enter the family circle he is far more agreeable. His sense of humor is dark. When it comes to conflict he prefers to avoid it. But when anyone from his family circle is involved the man turns into a animal, a demon. He has no problems ripping out an enemy's throat with his own teeth if no weapon is present. To sum Kadaj up he is a diamond in the rough. It will take some work. But when you earn his trust, it is for life so long as you dont betray that trust, thick or thin. To friends who join his family circle he is a arse. But the lovable kind.

Character History: Kadaj's mother was a slave. A servant girl in the kings castle. As no surprise when the woman caught the kings fancy he indulged in earthly pleasures. After wards Kadaj's mother fled to her home village of drakanvier. To be with her people. As was her peoples way after Kadaj was born she was expected to drown him. Male offspring were not desired in the all female society that viewed men as weak and inferior useful only for breeding. In unexpected charity she brought the child to a nearby orphanage and explained to them the child's history and father. No sooner then she left slayers passed through and a high ranking grandmaster looking to adopt visited the orphanage. Hearing the child's history as one of the kings bastard children the grandmaster Rico Kadaj took Druak as his son. To be raised as a slayer.

The winters passed and the forgotten son of the king grew to be an impressive young man. At the age of 17 he left on a crusade with the slayer Myrmidon knights he was training to become to wipe out the Kabold threat after they attacked a human colony that set up in there homeland. The young man fought the creatures but as they neared there goal. The Kabold village underground in some salt caverns the boy intervened and stopped the genocidal attack meant to wipe out the kabold race. Being the son of the grandmaster and the whispered son of the king himself none defied him. But upon returning to the slayer academy he was punished for his actions.

Later the young man departed on another crusade with a slayer friend he knew as Atakai. "The giant of Osirus". There quest. To stop a fallen dragon god there ancestors sealed in a magical vault deep in the elven wood centuries ago when mankind first came to the land. Word had reached them that some elven cultists that worhsiped the fallen god intended to free her. Kadaj fell early to the giant of a dragon and was knocked out by it. When he awoke among the bodies of the dead his friend Atakai stood valiant over the defeated devil lizard. Atakai "The god killer". One of the now many champion heroes of the dragon slayer order.

Later at a party at his best friends farm Kadaj became drunk with a blind elven woman around his age named Sarai. In the morning his life spiraled out of control after he learned that the woman he layed with was a dragon. A slave to his own honor he promised to take care of the dragon temptress along with the child they bore if she had one. With this vow of returning he left in the morning along with the rest of the Myrmidon knights with the slayer blood legion. His best friend was mercifully not a member of that group. For a purge was to take place.

The blood legionaries were called back to a remote outpost where they were beset by the whole of the kings army. The king paranoid with rumors of conspiracy had made a royal decree. All members of the slayer knighthood of the blood legion were to be killed for conspiring to take his life. Kadaj escaped the trap where over 300 of his kinsmen were slaughtered along with others that scattered to the four winds. Alone and hunted for being a blood legionnaire Kadaj returned to Sarai where he would remain. Always moving from place to place. She bore him a son. Human in appearance, but with green eyes like the great serpents he hunted. The unusual family would know hardship. But at least they were together, and happy.


Weapons:
Family sword: Kadaj has a sword given to him by his father bearing the crest of the slayer myrmidon knighthood on the hilt. It is a plain weapon. But well forged with folded steel. Generally uses it against enemys not weak to silver.

Monster slayer: Kadaj has a well forged silver sword. Living in the wilds has its dangers with monsters and creatures of the supernatural. With silver being there primary weakness this sword has ended the lives of many creatures.

Daggers: Kadaj has two daggers sharp and curved like dragon talons. Also made of plain steel. Used against heavily armored opponents where quick light weapons have the advantage. Or when outnumbered where speed is key to survival. With these two daggers in hand Kadaj is as a demon.

Longbow: Made of sturdy oak the bow does its job of hitting hard to reach targets. Be it an enemy or deer.

Likes: - That rare peace his family has where they don't have to fear. Lore, myths, the mother of his child Sarai, His son.

Dislikes: - Well traveled highroads. Towns and villages. Anyone not within his family circle. Dogs, Especially dogs. He has spent to much time running with his family with the annoying animals biting at his heals. There barks leading pursuers.

Weakness / Fear: - To distrusting. He sees enemy's were there are friends/ He fears for his family. Not so much Sarai. He knows she can take care of herself. But mostly his son.

Animal Companions: - A nameless horse for carrying his family's belongings. Typical of a nomadic life.

Character's Physical Description: Kadaj stands at average height and weight for a human. He is hardened by the life of the road so Kadaj is not out of shape. He has one blue eye and one green. He wears no armor. It slows him down to much. Typically he wears a tattered weather worn travelers cloak. The tunic underneath also in the same shape. He has long black shoulder length hair and a beard giving a wild look about him. A dragon claw scar runs across his face. A injury delt to him by the fallen dragon god that spared his life.

Dreams for the Future: - None really other then to find where his father the former grandmaster of the slayer blood legion died.

Reason for Dreams: - Kadaj escaped the slaughter, But his fathers remains still are were he fell at the remote forgotten slayer outpost. He wants to give the elder man a proper burial.

Secret Fact: With the kings sudden intrest in collecting old magical artifacts and relics from the ancient world Kadaj has taken it upon himself to sabatoge archeological dig sites and steal artifacts the kings forces are seeking whenever he can. Kadaj hides them all in an old blood legion vault in an area his family visits yearly.
