I want to know what everyone else got I'll post what I got.
Maths A*
Additional Maths A (But it really is an A* but the grade dosen't exist for this exam because it's slightly higher than GCSE)
Physics A*
Biology A
Chemistry A
English A
English lit A
French B
Religious Studies B (I missed the A by 0.5%)
History B
Business Studies B (Same here as with RS)

Next year I'm doing AS in chemistry, physics, economics and further maths... Busy year but at least I got the grades I need. :D :D :D :D

Post Re: Examination Results (GCSE Results 2009)
Congratulations mate :D I did my GCSEs last year, I got 8 A*s, 4 As and 1 B.
This year in my AS results I got four As in maths (mechanics), art, graphic product design and ICT.
It was sort of annoying because I was always like, one of three girls in my maths, graphics and ICT classes. Then there was 3 guys in my art class lol. Not exactly balanced.
Next year I'm going to drop ICT and take up communications and culture, an extended project qualification and an evening life drawing class- all three of those are each equivalent to an AS, so hopefully by next year I'll have 7 AS levels and 3 A2 levels.

That's some heavy schedule you've planned, I know some people who did four sciences or three sciences and maths, and it's a lot of work. I bet you'll be able to handle it though :D I've heard further maths is a killer on the brain.

Also, is your school one of those where you can carry on in the same place to A levels, or are you going to a different sixth form college? (I'm guessing you're English too?)

Yeah I'm English and I'm just going to continue on at the same place that I did my GCSEs in my lifetime I've been to 8 schools in 3 countries so I didn't really feel like moving schools again.

Cool. My secondary school finished after GCSEs, so I had to go to a different sixth form, and I love it, it's so much better than school. No uniform, no detentions, you call the teachers by their first name, free periods. It's great. So what other countries did you go to school in anyway?

Canada (4 years) and America (2 years) which probably explains the Bs I got in History, French and Religious Studies, In my life I've only done the 2 years of history I did at GCSE. I've also never done Religious Studies before either. But I really don't have an Excuse for French as I lived in Quebec the French speaking part of Canada. Probably explains why I got As in the oral, listening and reading papers but a D in the writing paper. French is in 4 sections but seeing as you probably did a language last year you probably already knew that. Where in England do you live?

To be honest they are easier than I thought they would be, but there's loads more coursework than I predicted- especially in art, though I suppose that doesn't really apply to you much.
I tried to write the plural of AS in my last post too, but the censor thinks it means arse.

Yeah I can't imagine why it would be censored though. AS levels is not a swear word.
