Third Eye:
Has a design on his forehead that resembles a third eye that is contained inside of a triangle, and if Zain concentrates on something hard enough and wishes to, he can shoot blasts of energy out of his 'third eye', and it doesn't use energy.
Control opponent’s body:
If Zain is serious in a fight, he can reach into his opponent’s body and control them. It doesn't take much energy, but he can only control one body at a time, and only five bodies a day, at most. Any more than that will draw his own spirit away from his body, rendering him immobile (best I could think of right now, lol). If the opponent has a very powerful will, he can overpower Zain’s will and break out of the control.
Zain is very skilled with magic and swordsmanship, as he has been training his abilities in the two skills for nearly his entire life.

Hair: Spiky black hair, with a red outline

Eyes: Blood red. It makes him look inhuman.

Home village: He travels a lot, so he doesn't really have a home.

Parents: He doesn't know where his father is, or even his name, but his mother, Fiona, died when Zain was three years old.

Character Personality: Selfish and greedy, but the only two people he loves are himself and his dragon, Syrin. He is of the thought that his and his dragon's life are more important than anyone else's. He only does something if it benefits him or Syrin. He is wise, and usually remains calm, but sometimes jokes around with Syrin. He is always curious for more knowledge and power, so he reads scrolls and books a lot. He has a fascination towards lightning and fire, and loves controlling and mastering it. He has a fear of bodies of water, so he avoids rivers, lakes, ponds, etc. He remains calm in even the most dangerous situations, and acts almost like a robot when he's near larger crowds. He'll answer everyone, excluding his dragon, with a one word answer and shows little to no emotion. He hates being in crowds, and if he wants something, he obtains it in whatever way possible, even if he has to fight someone or steal it. Ever since he was very young and placed in an orphanage, he has always hated being around people, and only interacts with someone if they have something he desires. Therefore, he is very independent, and never relies on anyone except for Syrin. The only living being he trusts other than himself is Syrin. He enjoys high altitude, and if he’s not training or reading, you can find him sitting on top of a very tall tree, staring into the world, almost as if he’s trying to decode it.

Character History: Zain has never known or met his father. He has never seen a picture, or even heard his father’s name. When he was three years old, his mother suffered from a terrible illness and passed away, and ever since then, he classified himself as an orphan. He doesn’t know what race he is, but he knows that he isn’t human. His speed and strength are elven, but he doesn’t have any elven physical characteristics, so he doesn’t know what he is. He was born with some kind of tattoo on his forehead, which resembled an eye inside of a triangle. After his mother died, he was found and placed inside a human orphanage. He had always hung around by himself inside of the orphanage, except when someone had something he wanted. He never had any friends inside of the orphanage, and sometimes, children around him suffered accidents. One time, a bully named Desmond had tried to steal something of Zain’s, but Desmond had then found himself suspended in midair, stuck. Zain had been blamed, and kicked out of the orphanage. This was when he was 13. However, the orphans had been correct that Zain had been the one to suspend Desmond in midair, but it was unintentional. Zain had gotten angry, and discovered magic as a result, and Desmond was then hanging in midair. After he had been kicked out of the orphanage, Zain had realized that he had been the one guilty in the orphanage, and that he had used magic. Zain had then decided to look for a teacher to help him in these arcane arts, but it was a tough endeavor. As a 13 year old orphan, Zain was on his own, searching from town to town, looking for a teacher. Several years had passed, and when Zain was 17, he had stumbled into a quiet village. After looking around, Zain had come across a weird store, and decided to go inside. Once Zain went inside, he saw a stand, with several hard, round objects on display. Zain had reached for a black stone, and the man behind the stand had slapped Zain’s hand away, saying he was too young.
Zain had then decided to come back at midnight, so when midnight came, Zain broke into the store, and stole one of the stones, a black one. He had turned around, with the stone, and ran towards the exit, but was stopped by the man who had stopped him earlier. This man had noticed something particularly interesting about Zain, and had decided to train Zain in magic and swordsmanship. The next day, the egg had hatched for Zain, and he had named the baby dragon Syrin. Forty-seven years later, at sixty-four years old, Zain had finished his training with the man, and left the small village with Syrin. A year later, Zain had become interested in fire and lightning, and had begun practicing using the two elements willingly with magic, without the Ancient Language. Three years after that, Zain and Syrin had gotten into a dangerous fight with several wizards in the Beor Mountains. This was when Zain has discovered his ability to control someone’s body, and when he had discovered his ‘Third Eye’ ability. Zain and Syrin began traveling inside the Beor Mountains, looking through it extensively, but he didn’t know what he was looking for. He only searched blindly through the Beors, and an entire century had passed since they had arrived, so Zain and Syrin left the Beor Mountains. At 404 years old, Zain and Syrin have been traveling the world, learning secrets to power, and becoming stronger. This is their only purpose in life.

Weapons: Zain relies on a black longsword, which is sheathed at his side, and his ‘Third Eye’. His black longsword is named Brisingr, and has a black gem on the crossguard. It was smithed by an elf in Ellesmera who went by the name of Rhunon. He has a magic staff on his back, which enhances his magical ability and energy. The staff is black with a red gem at the top. He calls his staff Kveykva.

Likes: Zain likes his dragon, lightning, fire, and gaining more power.

Dislikes: Zain dislikes crowds, and bodies of water.

Fears/Weaknesses: Zain hates water, so he avoids bodies of water. He dislikes crowds, and civilization. He doesn’t want him or Syrin to die, because he feels he hasn’t done enough in life.

Animal Companions: His dragon.

Physical Appearance: Zain stands at 5 feet 10 inches, and is thin and strong. He relies on speed and power, so he is thin, and has abs. Zain has a tattoo on his forehead that resembles an eye inside of a triangle. He wears a black and red cloak, with white pants, which are rolled up to his kneecaps. He looks human, except for his blood-red eyes, which give him an inhuman appearance. He has spiky black hair, with a red outline. Zain has his black sword, Brisingr strapped on his side, and his staff, Kveykva, strapped to his back.

Dreams: Zain wishes for him and Syrin to become the most powerful Dragon and Rider in the world.

Reason for Dreams: Zain and Syrin like power, and are always curious for more knowledge.

Parents: Father’s name is Duvadfr; mother’s name is Julia, but both of them are dead. They died before he hatched.

History: Syrin remembers the day he hatched like it happened very recently. One day, he had felt someone come near him who he liked and wanted to be the dragon of, but they hadn’t come into contact. Later that day, however, he had felt that same person wrap his hands around his shell, and the next day, Syrin had hatched for Zain. For forty-seven years, Syrin and Zain stayed with Zain’s master, and the two of them trained constantly, becoming stronger daily. However, when Syrin was forty-seven years old, Zain had decided to part ways with his master, whom Syrin had never learned the name of. Zain and Syrin wished to become stronger on their own, so they continued to train, and they visited a library daily. Four years later, Syrin and Zain had gotten into a dangerous battle with several very powerful wizards in the Beor Mountains. Zain learned two new abilities during the dangerous fight, and the two of them narrowly defeated the wizards. Zain and Syrin remained staying in the Beor Mountains, as the two of them were fascinated by the large mountains. After staying in the Beor Mountains for a hundred years, Zain and Syrin left, and have been traveling the world, learning secrets and becoming more powerful.

Personality: Syrin has a similar personality to Zain. The only two living beings in life that Syrin trusts are himself and Zain. Syrin only does something if it benefits himself or Zain in some way or form. He is of the opinion that his and Zain’s life are more important than anyone else’s. Syrin retains a natural loving of nature, however, and enjoys nature. Syrin enjoys flying in the sky, and seeing birds in the air as well. When Zain is usually sitting in the treetops, Syrin is either enjoying nature or flying. Syrin, like Zain, wishes to become more powerful, and is training his body and mind a lot of the time. He is wise, and usually remains calm, but sometimes jokes around with Zain as well. He remains calm in even the most dangerous situations, like Zain. He and Zain have a lot in common, and love each other with all of their heart. Syrin doesn’t share Zain’s distaste of water, and will sometimes jump in lakes. One time, Syrin had jumped into the lake when Zain was riding on him, which had greatly scared and angered Zain. Zain knew that Syrin was just playing around though, and could never be mad at Syrin.

Color: Black

Physical Appearance: Syrin is physically built like Zain. Syrin is lean and powerful, and is quite thin, but has a fair amount of muscle. Syrin is very quick, however, and he enjoys racing more than normal. Syrin is black, but has a red outline along parts of his body. The small horns on his spine are red as well. Syrin had asked Zain to give him this reddish outline so Syrin could resemble Zain.

Dreams: Syrin wishes to become the strongest Dragon in the world, and while he knows that a feat like that is almost impossible to accomplish, that doesn’t stop him, and he constantly trains in hope to achieve this goal. Syrin also wishes to uncover the secrets of the world.

Reasons for Dreams: Syrin loves power and knowledge, and he is always curious for more knowledge, so he wants to learn all of the world’s secrets.

Alignment/Side: Syrin is neutral, like Zain, and they only remain loyal towards each other.
