yea i no! i just heard dose songs recently! i personally luv rise against cuz the singing and beat is very good! Bleed it out is kinda weird so i dont like it as much as like the angel! heaven knows and life less frightening are next to like the angel! i agree, the singer is very good for only a rok band, cuz nowadayz, if u listen to bands like KORN or something, its just a bunch of ppl going wild over instruments and a mike, while rise against and linkin park both create good lyrics in addition to a beat! phew, dats a lot! p.s. great sig sokka!

??? i just said i luv one of their songs. so i luv their songs (well from what music of their's ive heard) i m not necessarily a fan of the band itself. the only band im truly a fan of linkin park. otherwise, i just like a song or 2 from numerous bands. so no, i dont rly like dis band a lot. wat im saying is dat ive looked up stuff about dem and found dat theyre not so... well u kno wat i mean!

oh, well i guess i just looked at it the rong way!
No way!! All their songs are unique, did u hear the lyrics? Some are rly sweet, others are hardcore, but they're all meaningful. The video for Prayer of the Refugee is kool, i didn't see many of the others. They have some rly good songs and themes, too. They're similar to LP, except they don't have any rap mixed in there, just unique guitar patterns

sry for reviving and old topic, but here goes:
atually, wat i meant was that the music can sometimes be the same, but, yes, the Lyrics of Rise Against are the BEST i've ever heard. I think dat the main difference between LP and Rise Against (RA?) is dat LP's vocalist, Chester, is much more capable of changing his voice, while sometimes RA's vocalist, Tim, can have a constant voice. If Rise Against and Linkin Park merged, that would be awesome! lol!

I haven't listened to a lot of RA songs, so I wouldn't call myself a Rise Against fanatic, but their music is good!

nobody's talking in this topic: well here's something interesting, the music video for PotR:
notice how at the end, the Indian lady was making a TV and stamped USA on it. isn't that a nice way to show that she was a refugee of the U.S.? and at the end, they knock down the TV, showing dat nobody took heed to ti. i tot it was pretty clever. also, its weird how they're walking in a store. lol, Tim looks like a mouse...

Yeah, actually some might even be better. I know that the best song on there is Re-Education Through Labor (which is going to be in the new Guitar Hero game .) And some other good ones are Kotov Syndrome, Entertainment, The Strength To Go On, and Collapse (Post-Amerika.) You should definitely listen to them.

Yeah, it seems like an okay song. I've only heard it once from a bad-quality video on Youtube, so I'll hear it a few more times to see if it gets better. Lol songs sometimes do that.
