IC:Eriel lay on the grass with her face upwards, eyes shielded from the sun by her hooded cloak, feet dangling over the hillside, and arms behind her head. The waters a few meters away were sparkling in the noon sun, gulls crying in loud voices over the water and whenever they swooped and climbed, they always caught something, leaving ripples that moved slowly toward the shore, vanishing mid-way.

Eriel's sword lay by her side with all her weapons, quiver, bow and dagger, boots and vambraces placed neatly with them, leaving their owner defenseless on the grass, or so the common man would think. They would be quite shocked to know I'm not defenseless even now... Eriel laughed mentally and strained her eyes, she could dimly make out the shape of a city beyond the horizon. Well fortified too... Eriel thought as she strained her eyes more.

Eriel sat up slowly, enjoying the breath-taking view of the lands beyond the sea, where she had only traveled to twice in her lifetime, long ago that time now seemed when the forest on the islands were smaller and the ruins less old. She took a deep whiff of the sea air, shutting her eyes as she did so. Eriel blinked as she felt a presence approach. It seemed weak, but then you might not know he it was hiding its power. Eriel's ears twitched slightly in nervousness.

Eriel turned her head as she saw the glimmer of swords being drawn. She then stood up, using magic to buckle on her weapons then wore her boots and vambraces. Eriel stood up and pulled her hood over her eyes, taking out her bow as she did so.

Equinox flew around the island he had never been so far away from the mainland than again, he spent a lot of is life in a cave in the forest or as a slave. Although he didn't think anyone knew he was partially here to search for his rider. The one who abandoned him. After being trianed he had much better control of his power. Now that he thought of it he didn't even know where he was. He opened his mind and was startled to feel some humans minds and an elves. Curious and only slightly nervous he went to investigate.

Equinox flew above the three remember from his training to keep his mind guarded from attack. He looked down and said to all three of them what are you doing here? then to Reik Why are you attacking them did they do anything to you? Equinox had is guard up ready to cast lightning or breathe fire.

Equinox focused on Reik and Mesaraih. What are two doing can't you settel this some other way. He glared at both of them. Is there anyreason you are doing this and don't threaten me or her we haven't done anything.

Equinox stared at them what do you mean? Humans there so so confusing. He thought to himself. He was ready to release lightning incase he needed to. He struck lightning close to them but didn't harm anything. He wasn't sure what he was doing was the right thing but he would try to stop the fighting. Like it did a lot the urge to burn something rose in him. He had been trained to resist it but it was still very hard. His deformed foot was giving him pain but he ignored it.

OCC: Sorry it took me awhile my computer had a virus so i couldn't get on.

Eriel glared at the both of them and sighed, shutting her eyes a little, then opening them again, looked at Reik dangerously. With a twitch of her fingers, Eriel moved the ground under their feet, placing them gently onto the ground. Before she could do anything else though, Reik leaped off his piece of earth and dashed at Eriel, blade narrowly missing her neck, cutting a strand of her hair instead as she quickly bent at the hips.

OOC: Forgive the gm. If you don't like it, I'll edit it.

OOC- I'm cool with it.

Mesaraih looked up at the dragon. He didn't see any reason for him to have shot lightning, but he decided to just leave it be. He's... cursed, Mesaraih told him.

Reik ground his teeth in frustration at not having hit his mark. "Just stay out of this, it's none of your buisness," he hissed at her quietly, then turned back to Mesaraih. "I don't care what you think, I just have to get this over with," he said. He shook feelings of sympathy that were starting to rise in him again. He didn't want to feel that pain today.

Equinox flew up slightly higher but glared at them fightning. He looked over and saw someone coming toward them. He flw over to see who it was. He didn't reconise the person but didn't cast lightning. He opened his mind to see if he could read what the person was planning.

"Okay. Fine. I give up. If you guys wanna go Incredible Hulk on each other then by all means be my guest." Eriel said loud enough for them to hear then walked back into the forest, nearly bumping into a man. "Erm... Hi?" She asked softly.

OOC:-Short

Crimson walked down the shores of the island. He was ordered by Galbotorix to find more recruits for the army. So far he had gained twenty at the island but none of them were worth anything they were weak, worthless in his eyes, no more than sand on the shore. He saw lightning flash in the distance and smirked. So, Equinox is here.he thought. He ordered his followers forward and walked toward the source of the lightning.

Equinox didn't since anything bad from Kerstov so he decided to enter his mind, What are you doing here and do you know the people fighting over there?

Crimson saw the people fightning. They will probably kill each other know need to go over there. He saw Equinox but left him he remembered there last encounter he could kill him but he must fufill his duty.

Equinox noticed Crimson he quickly landed so he was not seen. His deformed foot pained him like it did every time he saw the dark elf.

OOC: -Pass

IC: Eriel nodded.

OOC-sorry, didn't realize it was my turn.

Mesaraih didn't like the prospect of a future meeting, but by now he had grown used to the idea. Healing his wounds as best as he could, he walked off to where he had seen Eriel head. He noticed another man standing there too, but he didn't focuse too much on him. "What is wrong with you?" he asked. "I was trying to protect myself, and then you just show up and try to kill us!"

Equinox landed he new that Reik was gone but still wondered why they had fought eachother. He knew that he was cursed but couldn't magic break it? He entered Mesaraih's mind and asked Is there any magic that could fic Reik's curse?

OC: You know you skipped me.

OOC: Oops. Sry. I'll skip my next turn.

OOC-yeah, it's all your fault. lol jk, do I skip my turn too?

OOC: I'm not sure but I'll skip my turn too.

OC: Thanks

"Eriel, calm down. There is no need of this action." Kerstov said to Eriel calmly. Kerstov then looked at Mesaraih and said, "Masaraih, I know you were in self-defense, but let's just leave the subject we speak of alone. It will probably do more better." Kerstov stood infront of Eriel and stared into her eyes.

OOC: Right... So dark, your turn.

OOC: ok

Equinox said to Eriel and Mesaraih There is know need to fight eachother Reik is gone. He still didn't fully understand what was happining but he desided not to push the subject. He wondered if that was anything like what Crimson did to the elves and humans under his control. He rembered though that they were controled by magic. Even though he didn't know him he moarned Reik.

OC: Who'se turn would it go to now? This has gotten confusing.

OOC: I think the order is Eriel, Red, me than you.

OC: I already know what the order is. The problem is what to do after you since I was skipped that time. Do we just start with Eriel now or something is what I'm trying to ask. It is realy confusing....

Eriel sighed and looked at the sea again, feeling her anger subsiding and guilt rising quickly.

Equinox stared into the distance. Even though he hated his rider he could still slightly sence him now. That and many other things still haunteed his mind after their last encounter. He knew Crimson was headed qway from them but what if he turned back?

OOC:-Short
IC: Eriel looked at Mesariah and sighed. Sorry...She told him telepathically.

Equinox landed Sorry. He said. Then he looked at Mesaraih and said to both of them. I sensed my rider Crimson in the distance. I'm not sure if he is heading this way but I hope that he isn't. he pause in added in case they wondered why he didn't want to see his rider When I was born I was abandoned and then I was put into slavery and beaten. He looked down at his deformed foot it pained him like it did every time Crimson was less then four miles away. He didn't notice it when he was fighting at the city because he had other things on his mind like survival.

Equinox stared him. He did not think Crimson had other people try to kill him. He wondered if there were any more people out he told that. Then remembered the elves Crimson had under mind control. Perhaps they are after him. Then he said to Kerstov Yes Crimson is trying to kill me. I don't know why but when I hatched for him he forced me into labor. I was injured then he tossed me into a river. I survived and was sold into slavery twice. From what I know the only reason Crimson wanted a dragon was to get power. Now he just wants to kill me. And thanks for not doing as Crimson asked.

Kerstov looked at Equinox shocked. "Your rider must be messed up in the head." he told him. "OK, if you ever need my help, just let me know. I am willing to help you from him and whoever is trying to get you." Kerstov looked around again, but so no one that seemed suspicious.

OC: Mmmm, shortness.

OOC: -Pass. This is a Kerstov Equinox moment.

OOC-Pass, yeah, that's true.

Equinox wasn't sure if he should expect it or not. Crimson wasn't only after him but people who were around him as well. Still Crimson did loose to his master twice already so maybe he wouldn't approach him. Thank you but I must warn you Crimson may want to kill you also just for talking to me. If you ever do see him you may think he is an elf but he is not he is a dark elf.

Crimson had a small group of people following him Galbatorix would be pleased that Crimson had gotten more pawns for his army. He turned around he needed more much more.

Equinox did what Mesaraih told him and flew off into the sky. He barely managed to avoid being taken in by the sand. He looked around to see what was happening and he noticed red dragon in the sky. Beyond the dragon was a copper spot which he decided was a dragon and on it seamed to be a creature with two heads. He went to see what it was doing but a force crashed into his back. It felt like something was squishing him from the inside out. His head burned and when he crashed into the ground he heard the loud crack of his leg breaking. He looked up and standing about fifteen meters from him was Crimson with his sword drawn out.

Nice seeing you here Equinox nice for you to drop in. And I see you have meet some other people here too well to bad this will be the end of your lives. And the overgrown golden bag of scales isn't here to protect you now is he." Crimson sneered.

Quasar flew over the island the first time she had away from the Varden for days. Her rider Galedrim and his brother Eris were riding her. They were conjoined at the moment mainly because Eris was terrified of flying. They spotted land when they noticed that two more dragons were in and several people on the ground. Then one of the people blasted the green dragon out of the sky.
Should we go see what happened? asked Galedrim
Yes... that really tall elf is it just me or does he look familiar?" asked Quasar.
Your right he does look familiar, now hurry up and land Quasar! shouted Eris.

Mesaraih looked at what was happening. He knew that if it was the same case with him as Equinox, he would hate his rider and the situation very much, and he was almost sure he would kill him even if it meant he would die. He looked down at Crimson. You'll pay for this one day, he said to him with hate as Fenirexes' started to cautiously glide down towards the ground again.

OOC-Short

Equinox struggled to get up. He leg bone was starting to push through his scales. He glared at Crimson he wondered what would have happened if Emrhyst didn't catch him of guard. See Crimson my master isn't the only one stronger then you. Well I guess you’re not stupid enough to doubt Galby is weaker then you. said Equinox.
"Stupid dragon don't you understand... I'll give you a deal you join me and I'll give you anything you want revenge anything."
When you say revenge if you mean against you... sure thing why not but the problem is if I kill you I die.
""Exactly but remember dragons should always obey their riders so what about you shouldn't you be bowing down to me."
If you haven't noticed you’re in a very bad predicament right now with a dragon on top of you.
Equinox managed to get up on his three good legs. He walked over the where Emrhyst had Crimson pinned to the ground. Rider and dragon glared at each other. Then Equinox noticed around him trees and plants were dying. He felt something gripping at his mind as if it was trying to take control but he ignored. Instead he focused on Crimson. Even though they both despised each other they still had a very weak mental link. He Sent as much hatred as he could to Crimson but that had unexpected side results. He felt something stab at his mind he tried to fight it off but it gained more power.

Crimson knew that instead of wasting energy and blasting the dragon pinning him to the ground off with magic he was going to make Equinox mad enough to do the job for him. He felt the hatred Equinox sent to him and attacked his dragons mind. He would try and force Equinox to attack the dragon who had him pinned to the ground. He came here to kill Equinox he knew the others here wouldn't kill him because they didn't want it to affect Equinox but perhaps he could reason with them. "Listen up dragon I only came here for Equinox you can take your claw off me and I won't harm you or anyone else." said Crimson. He was absorbing energy from the ground to power himself up incase his plan failed.

Quasar landed on the ground and her riders dismounted and separated. "What’s happening over there?" Eris wondered. Probably a fight broke out earlier. And I recognize the tall elf it’s the one Galedrim fought during one of the battle during the fall of riders Quasar replied.
"The one who tried to mind control me? Why doesn't that green dragon kill him and that other green dragon that’s glaring at him... why don't they do anything?" demanded Galedrim. They walked toward the seen on the ground.

Pass

Emrhyst snarled and pinned him down harder, driving a wedge of power between him and Equinox and pressed him into the sand.

OOC: Pass

Equinox glared at them So what if I die at least he will be dead. He snarled. He felt the presence in his mind strengthen it felt as if he was being guided by something else. He tried to restrain it but it gained more power. It was taking over his mind. He started to waver in and out of consciousness. He felt something odd the urge to shoot lightning at Emrhyst. He tried to ignore it but the sensation grew stronger. He knew Crimson was trying to mind control him. He fought back the temptation to shoot lightning. All went black all he knew was something saying fire the lightning don't worry if you harm anyone.
He tried to tear his mind away from the mind control and shield himself. He put up a mental image of the sky but it was too weak. It soon shattered then without knowing how or why he shot out lightning. Because he tried to overcome Crimson's mind control the lightning missed Emrhyst by about an inch.

Crimson cursed when the lightning missed its target. Equinox was putting up a good fight against him but eventually he would fall to his rider. With Emrhyst slightly distracted Crimson blasted the dragon off him with magic. Even though he absorbed power from the surroundings he was greatly weakened by it. He grabbed his sword ready to fight but kept his mind on controlling Equinox. He slowly stepped back absorbing more of the energy around him.
He looked at Fenirexes "Doing what ever I want. I could care less if I kill plants and animals." Crimson snarled. He looked around he knew he was outnumbered but if he managed to control Equinox he would stand somewhat of a chance.

Quasar, Eris, and Galedrim hurried toward the people on the ground. They saw Crimson blast the green dragon of him and stand up with his sword drawn. They looked at the other green dragon.
"What is wrong with it?" wondered Eris.
"Crimson is trying to mind control it that is what happened when he tried to do it to me." Galedrim replied.
"I wondered why he isn't fleeing does he really think he can take on all of them?"
"Well if he is he isn't the only overly reckless one. Who here charged Galby during the fall of the riders."
"Well... I... Oh never mind."
Both of you be quiet and hurry up. said Quasar and she flew off toward them and landed once she reached them.
"Typical Quasar that dumb dragon always leaving us behind." complained Eris.
"Well I can't blame she is technically your dragon also and you're afraid of flying. She would have taken me but we don't you to do anything stupid." replied Galedrim. Eris just glared at him.
"Can you two hurry up I haven't had a nice battle for awhile." complained Throatripper.
"No they will probably not like you just b ecause you are an urgal, even if its Crimson you attack." replied Eris. Throatripper just grumbled.

OC: Pass

Nothing I'm able to do.

Crimson slashed his sword up just before Eriel's sword killed him. He glared at her "You are strong for an elf." he said. He jumped away from in front of Emrhyst. There were too many enemies to fight even he knew he couldn't win this badly outnumbered. He looked at Equinox and removed the attempt at mind control he had to focus so he could do the magic correctly he didn't care if his slaves captured besides only nine of them were on the island. "Shadows engulf me." he said in the ancient language." A large ball of black surrounded him knocking away anyone close to him. He knew galbatorix would be angry but he knew there were too many foes at once. He vanished from sight after the darkness disappeared.

Equinox stood up he was know longer under mind control but he was still weak. He was forced to put more weight on his deformed leg because is other one was broken. He stared at the spot Crimson vanished from.

Galedrim walked toward Equinox, he was amazed that Crimson retreated. He doubted that he would have done that if not so badly outnumbered. He went up to Equinox who growled in the ancient language Galedrim said Dragon my friends and I mean you and know one else here know harm, let me heal your leg. He went to Equinox's broken leg and placed on it and healed it.
Thank you. Equinox growled.

OOC: Kerstov it's your go.

OOC: Hello? Kerstov? You're up..

OC:Sorry, things have been happening...

Equinox starred at the spot where Crimson fled. Coward. he said. He knew eventually that he would have to fight his rider some day. He clawed at the ground. He wondered if Crimson had any of his minions around here. If he did not many.

Eris, Galedrim, Throat Ripper, and Quasar stared at eachother. "Could he do that when you fought him Galedrim?" asked Throat Ripper.
"Not that I remember. I was almost dead when I was rescued." replied Galedrim.

OC: Honestly, might as well just skip me the rest of the way. Apparently I make no difference into this RP. The sand has a bigger plot than I do. I've tried getting myself involved and it doesn't seem to be working out. And there isn't really much of an opening for me now either. So, I quit.

OOC: Hey don't worry. I usually don't get too involve in Rp's unless I start them you know? But later on I usually get drawn into it in some way or another.
Anyway you could say that you walked out of your hiding place while the battle was going on because you sensed an evil aura emanating from Crimson and didn't want to be affected by it?

OC: I was basically right in the middle of it. I was doing something and was in the battle. Things just kinda ended up going around me. It might as well be my point to leave anyways. I can't seem to do any more roleplaying anymore. My mind is completely fried. I can barely think for myself anymore.

OOC: Hm.. you could say that you fell back against a rock and lost consciousness or something...
Anyway, if you really want to you could leave then rejoin later.

OOC: Are we going to continue this or not?

OOC: I would love to but.. hm.. ok... nvm we will.

IC: Eriel shut her eyes, an aura of calm and restoration emanating from her, slowly rebuilding the life force of those she had previously wiped out. Emrhyst lent her rider some of her energy, slowly, bit by bit, the plants around them began to start off a new hastened circle of life, their surviving seeds and spores growing into mature plants within the minute.
Emrhyst purred and and lay on the grass that had just been regrown, partially killing the plants again. Her rider laughed at the irony of it all.

OOC: Sorry it took me so long to post my computer had a virus.

IC: Equinox laid on the ground laughing slightly when Emrhyst laid on the plants she and Eriel regenerated. Then he thought of Crimson and wondered if there was anyway to kill him without himself getting killed. He knew Crimson would be back eventually. He would never give up an opportunity to kill his dragon.

Eriel stood up, quickly brushing away her fringe, her hand clasping her sword around her waist, the jewel set in it shining like a beacon towards the west.
Emrhyst's blue jewel started to shine as well, its ray of light merging with the one on Eriel's sword.
'She is near...' Eriel said to her dragon softly.
The wind stirred nearby
'I feel it in the waters around us...' Eriel continued.
A wave crashed onto the shore.
'I feel it in the earth...' Emrhyst snarled
The sand stirred
'I smell it in the air.' Emrhyst's nostrils flared.
A whiff of pollen stirred.
'The dark queen stirs' Eriel said.
The ground trembled.
Immediately the two of them came out of their trances, the light vanishing quickly.






She is near.
OOC: Ok, err... I was thinking of the dark queen of the east from The Quest of Death to come in here. Any objections?

OOC: I don't know who that is eaither, but I wouldn't mind.

IC: Equinox noticed something odd with Eriel and Emrhyst. Eriel was chanting something that Equinox had know idea what she was talking about. Are you two ok? he asked.
He watched them closly wondering if a spell was doing something to them.

Equinox saw them walk behind a tree. I wonder what's wrong. They seem distressed by something. he thought. He walked up to them What's wrong, I don't mean to sound impatiend I just want to be prepaired.
