We've yet to see Galbatorix. There have been a million times people said he should appear during battle, but didn't. The hole underlying truth of the matter is...

GALBATORIX DOES NOT EXSIST!!!

It's all some heavily complex plan the elves have. They want Eragon to rule the contenent, so they tricked him, the Varden, everyone. THINK ABOUT IT LIKE THIS,

It's actually just some really stupid human in control. The elves blame him for the trouble in the land, so they don't trust anyone but an elf could rule the land anymore. So when they find out about Eragon being the rider, they get Brom out of the way, and replace him with Murtagh. Murtagh being no more then a hired blade. They have Arya contact him in his dreams, and seduce him. Therefor giving him a reason to get to the Vadren. The Varden being clueless to this, let's him in. The events in the Varden are all due to the lies creaated by the elves, that the humans and dwarves believe. The elves tell the king the location of the Varden, so he can send an army. All part of their plan to make sure Eragon thinks he's being a hero. He's tooken to Ellesmera where they brainwash most of his ideas. They made him question his religion, become a vegetarien and actually become an elf. They make him think like an elf, so when he overthroughs the king, he can take the throne and rule with the beliefs of the elves.

They've tricked Eragon, Saphira, Brom, Nasuada, Roran, Ajihad, the Varden, the dwarves, I'm not sure what Angela's place in this is, but I think we might know why Solembum lives so far away from Maud, even though she's his mother.

I only have ideas. Writing the fanfic would require way more of an attention span then I grape.

Wow. It had crossed my mind that maybe Galby didn't exist, but I never would have though of that. That's an incredible idea, but to be honest, I don't think even Paolini's as imaginative as that Brilliant theory though.

The king. But not intentionally. He's just a moron who mistreeted the dragons. They didn't die, they just flew away. The king managed to keep 3 eggs from them though. The elves hated the king for being the cause of the dragons leave and also the dimise of the land. So they want to take control over the other races and bring the dragons back for themselves.

Or the Forzworn could have been real and tricked the king. But I like the first theory better.

You're not listening. The elves did it all. That means Arya was in on the whole thing. They where faking a bunch of events to make Eragon madder and madder cause remember, he didn't care about killing Galbatorix at first.

well who was the one with the forsworn that terrorized the dwarves in places like tarnag? and why would oromis live with the elves if the elves helped destroy the riders? and who maintained the illusion that troops were in gil'ead when the weren't? nice idea, but i doubt it. and they didn't even know he'd be born, so why kill the riders so a person that doesn't even exist yet could rule?

and the biggest question is, why kill the dragons when they are linked to them and doing so hurts both their and the humans way of life/lifestyle

That really has crossed my mind too, but then the movie would be REALLY screwed up, and since chris paolini is in it, i doubt he would have let them do that.

Why can't anyone listen? The king was a moron and mistreeted the dragons so they either went to find new land or died from...stuff.

Oromis would stay cause he's an elf. He has the same beliefs as the other elves and they wanted to recreat the world with only elves in control. They wanted to redo the spell so only elves could ride dragons.

The elves terrorized the dwarves. Nobody has actually seen Galbatorix. They could send any random elf.

It didn't matter who would be the next rider. They could use anyone and turn them into an elf like they did with Eragon.

i've said this before, i don't know if he has much control over the movie because he sold it to them, but he probably gives them advice, and it would mess it up

I don't think cp has any control over them movie except for advice and info on minor details that might have been forgotten, because he sold it to them. but it would mess it up, andthey probably would not put him in it if he's not in it in book three, because they'd have to re-write the whole story

Name one thing that movie got right. I wouldn't be surprised if they mispronounce Saphira.

It's a mircle they're not calling Eragon a dragon master instead of a dragon rider. We should be thankful for that.

they do get saphira right, pronounced sa-fear-a, but thats not how i say it, and zar'rocs blade is red and arya's an elf even if she doesn't look like it

And if Paolini had any say in this movie, don't you think he'd mention that Zar'Roc had a ruby in it? Not a Saphire.

Morzan was a human who they tricked into joining the Forzworn.
