 Will elva die?i think eragon will release elva from the curse and then she will just become a normal child. i think it would be too cruel for her to die after all that she has suffered. what do you guys think?

Elva will literally be a shield from Misery.... so yeah she dies. that shield from misery could be literal (someone who will protect arya or eragon perhaps from zarroc), or figurative (protect someone from misery, despair, etc.) _________________

Okay well I'm rereading the second book right now and I just read the chapter on her nad it says that she tries to keep people from sad things and all and if a person were about to comit suicide she would take there place so i mean that could be an advantage to the King as well I mean it could be a twist in the plot

he causes suffering and also Elva was willing to deal with the pain of war so they could stop him. i dont think she would go through all that and then turn to gabby. It would have been a waste of effort if she went over to the king after that. And she has already demontrated that she was willing to die for her cause.
