Galby wouldprobabbly make her mate w/them, both. but he has to get her first. no one said that she wouldnt mate w/thorn, so why is this even going???

i think i see your point, if galby gets saphira then he will force her to mate whether she wants to or not. I doubt he cares very much whether or not she "likes" another dragon. Galby is focused on making an "army" of dragon riders under his control and he will do whatever he has to to make that a reality.

because if greenie is male then thorn can't mate with greenie! saphira is the last female dragon!

wouldnt it make more sense for saphira to just mate with glaedr. he just needs to take one for the team and mate with saphira it would be so much easier.

We arent talking about Arya and Eragon, were talking about Saphira and Gleadr. It was just a metaphore. and i belive there are plenty of threads that discuss the Eragon Arya subject, many of wich are well over 10 pages. lets not get another one of those going.

exactlly, eragon IS expendabbly, except for the fact that saphira coulnt survive without him, i think that is the only thing that has keept him alive up to this point.

because it would not turn saphira on to first bite off her tail and then mate with her.

You can kill a rider and have the dragon living. Eragon is completely expendable in galbatorix's mind. He doesn't need eragon to make saphira breed with Thorn or Shrukian

But then the dragon can go insane and Saphira might kill herself to make sure that Galby does not succeed.

I guess, but Galby definitely doesn't know the bond between the dragon and the rider since his mind has been warped by the dark magic and stuff.
He would never have known so in his mind Eragon is expendable in every way possible!

Is it different from the movie and book, because it says in the movie that if a rider is killed the dragon dies. Then in the book it does not say that.

that is a possibility if they escaped alagaesia and decided to come bak but highly unlikely

There could even have been a few riders that escaped galbys evil, for all we know the green dragon could be the same age, younger or older than Saphira. The egg could even have come from somewhere else. But if it is still with galby and eragon manages to save I hope it hatches for Arya

i dont think any dragon RIDERS escaped, but i never considered the possibbilitty that the dragons might have... thats a good idea. thats why i love this place, people have diffrent ideas and think outside the box...
and did he kill Shrukran's rider, or maybe he stole the egg... and somehow made it hatch...
or he couldda bonded with it before the rider did...

If Eragon is as expendable as you guys are stating, then why had Galbatorix ordered first the Urgals, then Durza and finally Murtagh, to capture them BOTH ALIVE and unharmed???? Because they are both important to each other's existence, at least as I understood it.

Why wouldn't Saphira mate with Shruikan or Thorn, because both are the antithesis of what she is fighting for and of what she represents. That's not to hard to figure out. I think!!

even so i dont think she waould see it like that... she would say that they should have done more to resist and not fallen into the trap of galbatorix...
