Sorry to say this but Murtagh has a high chance of dying. However the Arya theory is quite good. oh i'd love that!!!
Anyway the two most likely ways of murtagh dying are being killed by Galby or Eragon. Hope he doesn't die!!

Ok, I'm back from my weariness (hardy, har, har) but I still think that it is Glaedr and Oromis. But I do think that other people will die as well. Perhaps Islanzadi, Murtagh, Nasuada, and of course the Ra'zac and Galbatorix.

Yes, I agree. We just won't know for sure until book 3 is released, meaning that there is no need to go on with this topic unless someone has interesting information on the subject.

That's not neccessarily true. We can still argue points of view on here, and talk about other possibilities about who will die.

It's very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very unlikely that Arya is going to die! Btw: please don't ask how many very's are written hear!

I voted that Orik will die. However, I don't think that is very likely! But there are a few up there (Eragon, Arya, Roran, Saphira) that I don't think will die. Doesn't work with the type of story Inheritance is. Eragon can't die. He's the main character, and in this type of fantasy, the main character prevails. Then, my opinion is that Eragon and Arya will end up together, both as riders, and will "leave Alagasea forever" and Roran will be the guy in Eragon's vision that was screaming as the couple leaves. So, I don't think they will die either. I think Murtagh and Thorn and Galbatorix are going to die before the series is over, but I think that will happen in the 4th book. So, that just leaves a few characters from the list. I really don't want Nasuada to die. So I didn't pick her! But I think she's a good possibility. Katrina is doubtful. She's not really a main character. She's only important because she is what motivates Roran. I don't really like Orik all that much so I picked him!!! LOL!

I just now noticed that Eragon is not a choice but Saphira is, which gave me a thought.

Is it possible that Eragon dies, goes into this other deminsion like a heavenly place, talks with Eragon I who tells him his real name, sends him back to Alagaesia to speak his name into the Vault of Souls in order to destroy Galbatorix, but then must return to this heavenly place because he is still dead and Arya follows him onto the boat and together they set out into the west (a representation of death).

That would be a way of leaving the ending of Brisingr in suspense, having Eragon die.
