i think faolin was about arya's age because ya know arya really liked him and he liked her back. glenwing is probably around 150 yrs old. what's your opinion guys?

we dont know much about them nor do we know if they likeed eachother becausse faolin and glenwing were only her bodyguards.

but in eldest, when eragon was traveling to du weldenvarden, he asked arya what they were like. she said that they were proud warriors and that glenwing often listened to birds and later on he could sing some of their songs. then eragon asked "what about faolin?" and arya didn't reply. also, in tiadri hall (is that how to spell it?) she showed eragon her favorite flower, one that faolin made for her "one summer solsitce long ago". i belive that arya and faolin were in love, and i know they aren't very significant in the story but i was just wondering how old they were.

do you mean arya and faolin were the same age? and who's a little older?

well i would guess Faolin becasue Arya is relitifly young for a elf.

Not exactly. Elves age slower than humans. Comparing their ages is like comparing apples and oranges. In any case, Faolin was older than Arya. By how much we do not know but Arya mentioned that despite Faolin being older than her, they were kindred spirits.

No, he isn't and yes he will. However what I am trying to say in Eragon inherited immortality, he wasn't born with it like an elf or dragon are. Therefore for at least the first fifteen years of his life, he aged like a human and not an elf.

I think that those 2 are older and more experience than Arya.
She carried the egg vecause it was a "duty"
They guarded her because they could actually guard people well
I realy don't think that they will send really young elves to guard her,

they were near the same age. faolin joined because he was really close to arya. and this topic has no real relevance to the story cause they are both dead. arya joined cause she wanted to, not cause she had to.

Arya chose to be the dragon egg carrier defying her mother's wishes which is why whe was banned from her mother's presence not because she had to. If she didn't want to Arya does not even have to be the next elf monarch.

Very hard to say. They age slower then humans. I would think that they were about aryas age but who knows?? I'd say 100-150?
