how will Roran turn out in the third book?

Roran is quite strong, ya? he'll be a great asset for the varden. He will join eragon to defeat galbatorix, later after rescuing katrina. OR katrina'll die and he just go crazy... oopss! Kidding. Roran won't be a rider, that's my opinion, but he'll be a great help.

Ok ok, my belief is he will end up fighting Galbatorix, be defeated and then it will be Eragon's turn.

Roran's garrow son. Garrow is eragon's mother's brother, wasn't him? If Eragon inherit his father's path as a rider.. then roran doesn't share blood with morzan; and doesn't share the same destiny also.

Actually that is a really good point. And I remember at one point in Eldest, Oromis said that King Palancar's blood still flowed in the Palancar Valley, and I immediately knew that bit of info was important. I figured someone Eragon knew probably had royal blood, so it could be Roran.

yea that would be wicked hot. and that would mean eragon is second to the throne then unless roran and katrina get freaky in the sheets and the kid grows up to be queen or king if its a boy or girl and if it was a beast it would be put in the dungens.

Well, we don't know for sure that he has Palancar's blood, I just think it's a good guess.

i did green cuz i like the color green and it says in the book eragon and Roran have palancars blood

It didn't say specifically that they have Palancar's blood, it just said that Palanacr's blood still flows in the towns of Palancar Valley. It's a good indicator, but not a completely solid thing.

Hey u guys watched Alias the series, no? U know the one with CIA agent? There's a character, Will Tippin the reporter. I always imagine roran as Will Tippin, where he got into CIA but only that, he can't be the hero (agent), just a researcher for CIA..

The Palancar thing is mentioned during one of Eragon's lessons with Oromis, it's just like a line or two, but I thought it was important and that's why I remembered it.

I agree that Roran will become the next king... he possibly could have royal blood. But since people seem to rally around him, he would make a great king. Also he will rescue Katrina and not die, because that would be too much tragedy.

Anything is possible. But it is the wrath and loath inside one that kills, not magic. The wrath Eragon had for the Ra'Zac made him who he is today.

Roran could very well become a rider it has nothing to do with the blood line really. If it had why would they have wasted so many countless days and hours on passing the one egg through both the elven and human children. If it had to be of passed riders blood they would of searched out the children of the riders. Also if I am not mistaken they only mention Morzan as having children.
so here is to the hope that Roran becomes a rider.

Roran is cool!! Anybody knows how long it took for his transformation? u know, since before the presence of ra'zac until they left carvahall how long did it take? In Eragon i didn't think that he would play a role in this story but in eldest he turned up killed the twin and lead the ppl of carvahall. the possiblity of what would he become is just unlimited in the next book.

As far as i think, Roran will killed the raz'ak while eragon pwns the gray flying things. Roran will rescue katrina and the elves will power him up for defeating a really powerful foe. He will be able to use magic. Later on, he will fight along side Eragon against Galby, who kills roran(maybe). Then eragon flies into a rage so he like kills Galby. Just a very weird idea. And, i dont really think roran will die but anything is possible.

good idea, i think there's no way eragon would die, but CP might kill anyone else, even roran.

maybe the Raz'zac kill Katrina before Roran can get to her and goes on a frenzy and kills someone.

if the razac kill katrina then roran will most likely do suicide like with romeo and juliet.

Didn't it end up that Juliet didn't die in the end? Or did I just dream that lol! The point is, Roran might think Katrina's dead and commit suicide, when she's not really dead. Just a thought...

juliet had been told by her dad that romeo was dead, she took poison, romeo run in right after she drink it, then romeo drink sum to. they die in each others arms.
