OOC: For this RP, all are welcome, but to put in an odd twist, evil will win this time, and I would like only dragons and the most powerful you have, whether that is good or evil. Thanks

IC:
Nidhog flew low over the sea. Something was calling him, goading him toward the island. When it came into sight, he noticed that the entire island was covered in active volcanoes. Liquid hot magma was streaming from the mountains and the sparse vegetation was burnt to a crisp. He smiled a great toothy grin, he had been here before and he knew what was to happen.

A sect of evil monks called the Blood Lusters created the island. As goes their name, they loved bloodshed and fighting. Besides being sadistically evil, they were powerful magicians. They created the islands by stealing the power of other beings and created it so that it would call only the most powerful, cruel, and in Nidhog's case, evil. The call would start off small, causing the creatures to feel something, but it would grow, to an extent that even the most willed would have no choice but to answer the call. It was so with Nidhog.

The great black dragon landed on the dead landscape and noticed to his happiness, that he was the first one there. His first action was to find a defendable position and wait for the others to arrive. He flew to the tallest volcano and went straight through the magma to the very core. The lava, not affecting him because of his thick scales. He found a small air-pocket and rested, waiting for his victims to come.

OOC: voenth, I know you said only dragons, but can I bring Rigel in? It would really make it more dramatic with the whole "wanting to kill Phalynx" thing. And a phoenix is almost a dragon.

IC: Phal could feel the evil presence growing. She had been tracking something for days now, crossing over the ocean in search of a dark place. She wasn't sure why she was feeling the pull now, but it was a deep darkness that awaited her, that much she was sure of. Something very bad was going to happen, and she had to try to stop it. Phal knew that this would be one of the darkest challenges yet.

She could see an immense heat in the distance, coming from an island. She could also see an immense darkness. As Phal drew nearer, she made out volcanoes and lava running into the ocean, a huge cloud of steam rising from the site. This place reminds me of the Scorched Lands, just not as big and surrounded by ocean instead of desert, she thought decidedly. Phal wondered what evil she would find lurking on those rocks, and decided to keep her distance for now. She flew at the top of her range, beyond reach of other creatures, and watched the distant land below her.

OOC: Sure, Draco, I said dragons but I just didn't want humans standing in lava, lolz. BTW, I am going to have two very different teams, the evil(nidhog, rigel, ect) and the good (sera, phalynx, ect)

IC:
Nidhog smiled when his ears picked up the distant and small sounds of wingbeats. He would wait, wait untill the magic forced them to stay, he would wait untill the rest of the fighters got there and then, he would kill them all...

Sera was swimming, she didn't know why, but she was. She was swimming in water that was somehow tainted by something. It was not like the water around the islands, this water was alomost evil. She, finally could stand it no longer, she leapt out of the water and started to fly, slowly because of her small wings to a nearvy island. It was a hideous landmark. There was no green grass, no trees, no nothing but the scorched remains of plants and animals. She cringed every time a nearby volcano spewed out ash and brimstone. What an evil place. She thought to herslef.

OOC: It's your turn, red.

Phal nodded. That is true as well. If anyone else is here, we should find them and make sure that they are safe, if they're on our side. If they're not, we should make sure we know how much of a threat they'll be, she said, thinking that they should eventually search for more comers to the island. If any more of her friends were here, Phal wanted badly to know. She shuddered to think what would happen if someone she loved came here and was hurt because Phal hadn't found them yet. Most of her friends could take care of themselves, but still... Phal looked at the bones again, disgusted at the carnage laid out before them.

Rigel bobbed his head in understanding. Ah, so you are a survivor of this more than once. It was probably not so easy when you were not yet two centuries, though, hmm? the phoenix said with a laugh. Is there any regularity to this... event... or does it just happen at random intervals? he questioned, still wondering about the history of this place. How had he not heard of this before? Well, he was probably engaged in other, more important things, but still; this was an interesting subject. Rigel almost wished he had been at one of the previous killings, though it would have taken time away from his plots.

Phal rose above the island, searching the land's surface and the area beneath it for others. Her attention was taken off of her search when the others greeted a newcomer, who she saw to be Fenirexes. Hey, Fenirexes! I would say it's nice to see you, but in this place, the fewer of my friends are here, the better, she said, her tone turning a little worried. When she turned back to her search, she noticed an odd spot of dark magic near the top of a volcano, and was about to say something when it suddenly erupted out and was revealed to be Nidhog.

Phal's face turned into a snarl, and she reacted immediately by letting out an explosive, blinding flash of starfire towards the black dragon's face.

Rigel trailed along through another tunnel, deciding to come up at their enemies from the side. He emerged just as Nidhog was charging at the other dragons. Rigel perched on a jagged rock, watching as the black dragon went straight for them. He can handle it for now, the phoenix thought. I will join you when the time is right, dark one, he spoke into the other's mind.

OOC: I thought you said Nidhog has light-sensitive eyes?

IC: Phal flashed towards the dark dragon as he crashed into Sera and tackled the blue to the ground. The starry dragoness launched herself at his back and raked her claws quickly down the hard scales as he flapped away. She rose back up and twisted her body around, watching for his next attack. Coward. He is hiding from us, and then attacking for a few moments before hiding again, she muttered, glaring at his form. She quickly locked her vision onto his shadow magic, for she would quickly lose his heat signature among the magma he was burrowing near.

Rigel shook his head, unsurprised that this beast of a dragon found fighting to be entertaining. The only entertainment value came when your enemies were at your mercy, which did not happen nearly as often as Rigel would prefer. Trust me, I will find it more enjoyable when the time is right. Mindless attacks do not suit my tastes, he replied, his eyes locking on to the silver dragon. He would wait for just the right moment before he struck for the first time. There was only one chance to reveal himself.

OOC: He does, but he had to be able to do somethnig there, else it would be exactly like Teror of the North, and then evil would never win, as is planned in this RPG. Especially if Phalynx blinded him at the begginning of the fight

IC:
Sera nodded toward Ezerre and said, Yea, I- I think I will be ok, but I don't like this place at all. This is evil to its fullest. the shook herself lightly and used her ability with water to cover herself in a next to impenetrable wall of ice, as well as water. The torrent flowed about her, covering her every move. She walked toward the rest, limping slightly. She sat down on a small outcrop and said, Who is that over there?

Nidhog, who was still seeing stars from the light given off by the silver dragon laughed, You call me a coward, but you outnumber me four to one, what are those odds, very unfair if you ask me. You forget, you are on my turf, no one invited you, though I will ... entertain you as any host should. laughed the dragon evily.

OOC: Ah. lol she wouldn't have blinded him, though. But you're right, that would be kind of awkward to have a blind dragon as the evil that's supposed to win.

IC: Phalynx growled, unperturbed by Nidhog's snide replies. Evil has no home in this world, not as long as I'm alive! she hissed in reply, here eyes narrowing until only a thin slit of green showed. Nidhog remarked about them outnumbering him, but he also outsized all of them. His few-thousand year life had put a size and strength on him that could not be bested by anyone younger.

Rigel grinned, lifting his wings and preparing to take flight. Nidhog had his enemies just where he wanted them; Phalynx especially. That dragon could notice anything with her eyes, but only if she was looking in the right direction. Nidhog had her faced the opposite way from the phoenix. He tensed his muscles and suddenly launched himself off the ledge, surging towards Phalynx faster than she could react. She heard him coming too late, and Rigel careened into her, causing both to crash to the side of a volcano a few hundred feet away.

OOC: Red, remember this topic is still here, you need to reply or we will have to skip you.

OOC: Red hasn't been here in a while. Maybe we should skip him this turn.

OOC: Ok.

Nidhog moved silently, this time into the water. He slunk very quietly away into thje depths of the surrounding sea, for a dragon his size, he was quite stealthy when he needed to be. When he judged himself to be close enough eh leapt out of the water and at the blue dragoness, once again.

Sera was ready this time. She repelled the monsterous black dragon with a powerful blast of water. She sent the monstrosity spinning into a nearby volcano and knocked a hole in it, liquid hit magma began to pour from the hole she created. Then she began to limp her way over to Phalynx to try to help her friend.

Phal flapped away and spiralled out of the way of a few green fireballs that came down at her. She watched as the lava rose, and sighed in relief as Sera made a "safe zone" around her with her water powers. You should get into the air eventually, Sera, before you're distracted and lose your circle. I'll keep these two off you if you want to take off, she called down, barrel-rolling once more as she felt the heat of another fireball.

Rigel flapped his wings lazily to get into the air, in no hurry. He would automatically assume fire-form if the lava reached him, but he decided to meet his foe in the air as long as she was up there.

Phal flew in close to Sera briefly, showing that she thought the same with a nod. Agreed. I'll circle up and distract them, then you can get a close shot, she said briefly. Without waiting for the blue's reply, she flew away as swiftly as she could. She turned her body up and her wingbeats thrust her ahead and over the heads of her enemies. She waited until she had put a considerable distance between herself and Nidhog and Rigel. Then, she turned back down and sent silver fireballs hurtling towards them. She dove and slashed at Nidhog before coming back up into the air.

Rigel trailed after Phalynx as she flew up. He hissed as he realized she was trying to get above them, and moved quickly to get away from the silver flame coming at him. He formed a large number of ice arrows and sent them towards her when she flew away from Nidhog. A quick burst of flame from the dragon dispatched most of them, but two kept going. One grazed the side of her leg, and the other just missed her wing.

Sera screamed and sent a sharp spear of ice at the black, she was so angry now, she would not stop until the entire island was drstroied by the waves. As her anger built, so did the waves and the rain, she continued to become more and more nfruiated, and the elements acted in kind...

Nidhog roared angrily as the spear of ice barely missed him. He leapt into the sky and flew at the dragoness, only to miss with his initial charge.

OOC: Sorry, its short...

OOC: 'sokay. Is there anything specific you'd like to do in the plot, or are they just gonna fight until the good guys realize they can't keep going?

IC: Phal dodged away again. She gazed around as the moisture in the air thickened. The thick stormclouds were looking more waterlogged than before, and rain continued to fall. Obviously, Sera was building up some kind of energy in the hopes of destroying their enemies with an explosive water attack. Phal hoped it would do a great deal of damage, but for now she would have to keep Rigel at bay. She flew away, higher into the sky, and disappeared within the stormclouds. She lurked inside the thick vapor, waiting for Rigel to follow.

The phoenix knew that Phalynx would use the cover of the clouds to her advantage. She could see inside them, whilst he could not. He decided to go in anyway. He would rely on his fire shields to protect him if Phalynx swooped down on him from the foggy cloud bank. His own magic would drive her out eventually. He flew up after her, the coldness of the water not bothering him in the least.

OOC: ... I did, but I forgot it some time ago, not logn after we started the RPG, I trhink one time when Red was inactive for a long time...

IC:
As Sera's anger built, the rain became a torrent. She angrily looked at the black dragon and said, You are a disease of both the world as well as the waters, you are a blot upon the world which much be washed out... You... Must... Die...! roared the dragoness as she attacked with a greater ferocity that was thought of a dragon her size.

Nidhog was taken by suprise and driven back many meters. He roared angrily at the dragoness, Do you think I do not know that? laughed the crazed black dragon.

OOC: Okay. So how much longer do you want this to run?

IC: Phalynx felt a chill seep into her body. Rigel had gone into the clouds; she could see him, and sense his cold, dark magic. I see you, dark one. You have followed me at your own risk, she threatened darkly, growling. Rigel continued his flight, not regarding her warning. Phal flew down and dove at him, slashing at him with her claws before swooping away. This will be your death, Rigel! she cried, sending down a thick torrent of starfire.

Rigel grinned evilly, raising a wall of cold blue fire that swept the starry flames off course. You are wrong, little dragon. It is you who will know the cold, dark void this day. And I shall be triumphant, he called back. The flames had revealed the location of the dragon, and he could feel her mind. The phoenix shot up into the clouds, and the thick gray swirls closed behind him.

OOC: Not much longer, Sera's anger has yet to destroy the island and forever rid the world of is blight. Then, Nidhog is gona make her retreat underwater, when the RPG will be over, unless you have any plans?

IC:
Sera tore, bit, scratched, and used her ice powers to freeze parts of the black dragon, she was making a lot of progress, for the black dragon ahd never faced such ferocity and anger before. The small blue dragoness was fighting hard, but her anger still built. This was worse than any other time in her life, she was practically blinded by rage. She inhaled deeply, then used her powers to cause a powerful water tornado (isn't that like a waterspout?), which did not only stay on the water, but came landward. Then, the dragoness realized her mistake. She could control water, but the larger, and more distance, the more energy consuming. She began to sink to the ground, completely exhausted, luckily the blue dragoness landed on a large rock which kept her free of the magma.

Nidhog began to panic, this was the first time he had ever met his match, in fighting that is. He froared angrily, when the blue dragoness summoned a powerful water tornado, and despite his best efforts, he was unble to avoid it. The water tornado hurled him into one of the few remaining volcanoes, which did not yet have a massive hole in it from where the black draogn had not be thrown into it.

OOC: Nope. And yeah, it's a waterspout. lol

IC: Phal rolled to the side, avoiding Rigel's attack. Ice was suddenly coating her back, but it burned like darkness and fire as well. Phal roared and heated her scales. The light and heat got rid of the ice, and she circled around, searching for the phoenix. She located him quickly and flew on, burning the ice arrows that he sent for her. She hit the phoenix head-on and grappled with him for an instant before he raised another wall of cold fire. She was driven back by the flames and flipped herself over, rising for another attack.

Rigel screeched; a strange, terrifying sound amidst the rolling thunder and battering winds. He muttered a small spell under his breath, and the clouds surrounding him for a few thousand feet turned into those like the dark mist from the Shadow Realm. Phalynx could not see him very easily anymore. They were both almost equally blind; only able to sense the other's mind. Rigel sent out a few more ice arrows into the darkness.

Phal cried out as several icy arrows stuck in her scales and then melted. I- I'm trying! she cried back to Sera, now more concerned with escape than fighting. She had to get away. She had a family, and she had her mission, and her whole future yet before her. She could not allow herself to be killed in this battle. Phal flapped her wings, flying desperately higher to aviod Nidhog's flame. She heard wingbeats behind her, and knew that Rigel was following. She flapped harder and harder, trying to escape with height.

Rigel spun around and flew up after Phalynx, his countenance deadly. He had no other thoughts but to kill her, to end it here and now. She was fast, but weakened. And he could follow her anywhere. He continued the flight, until they were beyond the clouds and still climbing. The air grew colder and thinner with each downward propulsion of his wings. Eventually, they were too high for any other dragon than Phalynx, except perhaps her children. The ozone layer was under them. The silver turned until she was level, and began flying on a straight shot. Rigel still followed, ready to kill her.

Phal paddled her legs and wings faster, finding enough strength to pull away from Sera and swim on her own. She hastened after the blue dragoness, trying to get as much distance as she could between them and the evildoers behind them. Rigel would come after her once he had regained his strength, and Nidhog would not be held back long. They had to escape.

Rigel flapped higher, out of the way of the geyser of water. He frowned in disgust as the crazed dragon charged at him. He found Nidhog's show of emotions disdainful, and would never allow himself to show such anger. He hissed and flapped his wings, getting even higher. There was nothing left for him here; Nidhog was best left alone to his angry rampage.

OOC: Shall we wrap this up? If you want to, then I'd like to make one more post after this, and you can make one or two.

OOC: I think we should.

IC:
Sera allowed the dragoness to seperate from her and slowed her pace to stay even with the silver dragoness. The blue dragon was tired, but the fact that she and her friend were safe, here beneath the waves. She pulled down her own little bubble of air and continued to swim alongside her friend, always on the lookout for any leviathins of the deep.

Nidhog continued his blind rampage. He burned the water until he could do so no more, then he flew away, back to the Northlands, to look for something, anything to destroy...

OOC: Alright. This'll be my last post then.

IC: Rigel circled higher and higher, until he was alone in the sky. The isolation soothed his nerves, which had been frayed in the fight and by Phalynx's escape. But she will not escape forever. There will be a day when all her running, fighting, and even the help of all her friends will not save her, he hissed to himself, smiling evilly. A cold gleam lit his yellow eyes, and he began flying pointedly back to the mainland. He would plan and carry out his next moves soon, but for now it was just him, alone, in the sky.

Phalynx followed after Sera. She felt exhausted, but knew that they had put a safe distance between them and their enemies. She was apprehensive of a future fight with Rigel; obviously he had the power to defeat her, and the determination to do so whatever the cost to himself. The thought chilled her, making her give a small, involuntary shiver. But as she continued swimming, accompanied by her friend, she began to feel better. The waves, slow and even above them, with faint glitters of sunlight starting to shine, had a calming effect. And Phal knew that she was heading home, back to her friends and family, and everything she loved. She would be able to recover from her injuries and regain her energy, and then things would look bright again. For now, though, the anxiety of battle still pierced her mind.
