yes, it is and I like LOTR great movies

I used to be a huge LOTR fan, i still love them. They're very good; i thought The Two Towers was the only one that kinda dragged on.

i no i liked thr return of the king the most

i liked the war scens!

Minth tirth was the best bit

i think it is minis tirith but yeah that was one of the best scenes

I always wonder why should be a trebutchets (big catapults) on city and how defenders found and reload ammunition so fast

dunno it realy takes ages

well they probably had some of them big boulders ready for such an occasion and then when they started firing they looked for more but that is just a guess. and if i had a castle so big i would probably use some kind of catapult

trebuchets are better than mangonels

They were throwing their own damaged walls

mines are the best they can destroy walls easily

I would probably have a whole bunch of balistas (bad spelling) or other really strong crossbows and then i would have a few catapults but I'm probably not the best choice for a king so whatever

i would have loads of mines and torches

plus i would have a ton of molten magma and boiling water and stuff and at the walls i would have put spikes so that when the orcs got off of those giant fortress things they would jump strait into spikes

Yeah i know in film there was many mistakes (like Rohan calvary saving people in helm deep in book they were saved by ents )

The LOTR trilogy are quite possibly the best fantasy movies ever made. The Two Towers does run a bit long in spots but in the other two movies I hardly notice because they are so absorbing. The epic battles were pretty amazing also.

Of what I've seen I've seen of the Two Towers (I've finished the battle of Helms Deep), it doesn't seem to drag on.

My brother won't let me look at any of the fight scenes. He thinks they're too disgusting. Hello!!! I am 13 and I actually might be able to handle some stuff!!

If you're a girl, like me so don't kill me ( gulp ), he probably thinks you'll faint at the sight of so much blood. ( duck and flinch ) No, I don't faint at the sight of blood. On the contrary, stop sniggering ppl, I think blood is a beautiful shade of red. Freaky, huh?

I loved the movie, and I think it was one of the few movies based on a book that actually turned out well...

ya i no it was really sad to me.. i loved the lotr triolgy i read the books just cuz i liked them sooo much.. i hated how frodo and gandalf left.. and how frodo left all his friends behind

well thats what is going to happen to eragon in the 3rd book

lotr is really good but ithink that eragon will be better

The ending is really sad.
It is so sad I (don't laugh) cry every time I see it.
In the theatre my friend and I looked at each other and I said "I think I'm gonna cry!"
she said "me too!" and then for some reason we both burst out laughing!
But, because we were trying not to ppl thought we were crying!
That just made us laugh harder!! It was soo funny!

I watched one of the movies a long time ago...like 4 years. It was boring.

How old are you? Because I think they're great. I know it's just an opinion, but it seems younger people don't like them so much.

I like books but third Lotr movie wasn't so good afterall. Frodo's film story line was boring and there're many differences between movie and book

Overall LOTR was great but i hated The Two Towers. It had no good storyline and cut too much from the book.

i think they are okay. i don't like the fighting because it drags on a bit and i am the kind of person that keeps thinking, "man, this isn't fair! look at all those giants and orcs and whatever-those-black-riders-are-called and then that teeny army of people!" but i think that the two towers dragged on a bit.

if the movies are better than the books, its because the majority of the ppl have no patience to read the books

I absolutely love the LOTR.
The fighting scenes,background music,animation of the characters etc.are just incredible.
