ooc: Another gryphon? Cool, I'll join with my gryphon Cratos.
p.s I love the names

Cratos flew over the Boers, enjoying the layer of cool air that formed near the top of the large mountains. The Boers were where his ancestors lived before they moved to the Spine, and this was were they made their peace treaty with dragons. Their alliance became known as "The Skies Royalty" with the dragons was the kings and queens and gryphons as the princes and princesses.
He had eaten a shrrg (a wolf) and was now working it off. Flying in the great mountains made Cratos think of his species. He hadn't seen any, in over nine decades. His colony was wiped out by some unknown disease, and after awhile Cratos gave up thinking there were more colonies out there. Either they were killed by humans for their fur and feathersordied by the same disease. But as Cratos looked down, he saw something unexpected.
A ... another gryphon? he though as he stayed a few hundred feet above the creature. He squinted his eye strying to get a better look at it and confirmed that it was another gryphon sleeping. Holy crap another gryphon!! He shouted in his mind. He composed himself and quickly flew down to meet the other gryphon.

ooc: edit: Lol I thought this was in the Beors! Sorry 'bout that lets just I'm at the edge of the Beors near Surda?

OOC: I'll give this one a try

IC: Elika had been tracking one of Galbatorix's spies that had snuck into Surda. She found him when he was close to the southern coast; he tried attacking her, so quickly and efficiently eliminated him, and got a filling meal while she was at it.

Now, she was running toward the Boers, just for the fun of it. In this life time she hadn't actually visited them, she she thought she'd give it a try, she wasn't due any place at the moment. As she ran she saw an animal that was quite far away, between fifty and a hundred miles from her. She soon recognized it as a griffin, though she had never seen one before with her own eyes, but through memories of others. I thought Cratos was the only one left, she thought, Oh well, let's go see what's up.

She was within a fifty feet in less than ten minutes. "Hello," she slightly regretted her stealth and the fact that she might've scared the griffin. "I'm Elika, sorry if I scared you, I have unnatural stealth, it's as much a curse as a blessing."

She heard the wind above her and felt the slight pressure on her skin change, she looked up to Cratos coming down from above. When he landed, she said, "Hello Cratos." She hoped that, even though she knew him quite well and he'd never met her, that he wouldn't be hostile toward her.

Cratos felt a heavy pain in his chest when Elkia confirmed that she had died. A world without Kaileena just didn't feel right. Cratos hung his head, and tried to hold back his tears. Kaileena was the most important person in his life, and now that she was gone, he felt empty. No. Kaileena wouldn't want me to act like this. I found another gryphon, and I should be happy. I need to go with him and find his siblings. Kail would want me to, Cratos told himself. he lifted his head back, looking perfectly fine. He turned to Apollo and started to explain. Kaileena was a phoenix that helped me out when I was younger. We become very close and it turns out she gave up her life to save the world.

Cratos flared his wings ready to take off in search for the other gryphons. I think the first place we should search in the mountains, unless you have any other ideas on where to look You'd know better then I since they're your kin, Cratos said with a smile on his face. He felt confident that they were going to find them. Kaileena might be gone from the earth but she is always with him, in his heart.

IC: Elika held her breath, not sure what to do, her job was killing people not comforting them, especially when they started crying, something she rarely did. But suddenly Cratos was over it, or put on a mask so he seemed to be; she almost knew it was the latter.

"I'm game for that, I'm not busy, but I have things I could do, so you two decide." She smiled, she knew she wouldn't turn down anything they chose, but maybe, with the chance at her leaving, they'd pick something that was adventurous, in a more dangerous sense, but she didn't care a whole lot.

OOC: Okay, I missed something here...Yeah, I'm a little slow, I'm really sorry, lol, but...Kaileena DIES???!!! Kit, when the cripes did that happen????

IC:

Apollo gave Cratos a sympathetic smile. Yes, I would appreciate that. It's been too long, and I'm sure that you would like to see more of our kind. I agree, let's search out for them. He paced around a bit, trying to think.

The last place I remember my younger sister Artemis was going was the Du Weldenvarden. I could be wrong, but that is probably where she is. Knowing her, she likes to keep to herself if she hasn't changed at all. Pollo opened up his wings and stretched them, the wind calling him in an alluring tone. Let's get going.

ooc: Well she hasn't "officially" died yet

Alright Elika, um.. do you want to ride on one of us? Cratos asked, unsure of how the human girl would keep up with them. He never had a human or elf on his back before, it couldn't be to hard dragons did it all the time! Cratos bigger then a Shire horse (the biggest horse in the world) and with his strength carry a small human should prove to be no trouble at all.

Cratos opened his wings and leaped into the air, Alright Du Weldenvarden it is then! He said excited. he propelled himself north in the direction of the great forest. A sister? This is wonderful! Cratos exclaimed to himself. He flew for hours on end, only stopping when he truly needed to, for food, water and rest. After a few days of constant flying the forest finally came into view.

Cratos landed at the edge of the forest and walked over to the tree Elika was under. I actually enjoyed it. I love a good storm, adds to the excitement of flying, Cratos told her with a smile.
Cratos looked beyond the tree the trio where under and saw more trees that were even bigger then the one they were at! He had only been to Forest like once, so he didn't know it to well. Finding one creature in this massive forest will prove to be a challenge but I have confidence we can do it!

OOC: hey Fang, it is your turn, just so you know.

"That sounds okay to me. Are you sure you can find us afterward?

OOC: Pass

Cratos spent about an hour with Elika in the forest, just walking and talking. It was odd, she knew almost everything about him yet he knew nothing of her. It was spring time so everything was alive. All the trees and shrubs were a lively green. The birds were singing, and fluttering through the air in pairs. Some of the birds were gathering leaves and sticks for their nest. For some reason watching them made Cratos smile. It was like watching little kids build a fort laughing and having fun.
Once enough time had past Cratos and Elika went back to the cave where Apollo was. He walked out of the trees and stopped. The sun light shinning through the forest that landed on him made his usual brown feathers appear more golden and bronze. He smiled in awe at the other gryphon next to Apollo. Words couldn't describe his excitement, or her beauty. He walked forward slowly, his head lowered, this was her territory and he wanted her permission to be on it.

ooc: Lol, Elika...

Wait what? Cratos said, surprised. He looked over at Elika and eyed her, this girl had even more explaining to do.
You mean, She thinks theres a bunch of us left out there? Cratos said quietly back to Apollo. He suddenly felt bad for Artemis, she lived in these woods alone, thinking she wasn't. How would she take in the truth? I shouldn't be the one to tell her, Apollo you do it! Cratos said to him quietly.

OOC: Umm, are you in Du Weldenvarden, or somewhere near Surda, I was just wondering, because I would like U'lfr to join this one. If its ok with you that is.

ooc: We started out in Surda but now we're in Du Weldenvarden. I guess it's okay, but it's not my RP lol

OOC: Wow, sorry guys been really really busy I'm trying to write on here...and yeah we're in the Du Weldenvarden right now...but who knows where we'll end up? lol.
IC:

Apollo sighed, at both Cratos and Elika. I will be the one to explain it to her. And Elika, we weren't invited here we kind of intruded on her territory. It's just best to allow her to ride out her temper while I explain. He turned toward his larger sister, staring calmly into her dark amber eyes.

The gryphons are gone, Artemis, Apollo murmured. We don't know exactly where they disappeared to, but hardly any exist now. Cratos and the four of us are all that remain of our species.

He went into further detail about the disappearance, and as Artemis listened, she felt her mind go numb from the inprobibility.

You're wrong, she whispered, her words deadly. You don't know anything about the other gryphons...we're still around. That means others are still alive.

Artemis wasn't sure on how to react, she only raised her eyeridge at what seemed to be human figure. You have spirit and not afraid to speak your mind, she stated cooly. I like that. However, you should learn to watch that tongue of yours, it could get you into trouble.

OOC: Sorry, I hadn't realized it was my turn. >.< I'll go now...and bring in Athena!!!

IC:

Apollo turned his head towards the newcomer, and was shocked to see yet another gryphon flying in. He introduced himself, and Apollo nodded his head towards U'lfr. Greetings, my name is Apollo, and this is my sister Artemis. We are actually just as surprised to see you as you are of us. Believe me when I say, I thought my siblings and I were the only gryphons left until we met Cratos here and now you. He looked back at U'lfr. What are you up to besides following us? he asked with a sense of humor.

Artemis remained silent, only to glare at U'lfr with unwelcoming eyes. She was beginning to feel annoyed with all of these new people showing up, but there was nothing she could do. Secretly, Artemis was pleased that another one of their species survived.

Athena flew over the Du Weldenvarden in a desperate search for food. She hadn't eaten in quite a few days and was sapped of energy. Athena hat do eat more than her fair share because of her smaller size, and lately she wasn't having any luck catching prey. As she flew along, her white feathers gleaming in the sunlight, Athena thought she spoted something far below. No...it couldn't be...could it? She had to have been extremely hungry. She thought she saw four gryphons stationed below, but it had to have been a trick of the light. With a shrugh, Athena descended upon them at first hesitently, and then more quickly when she recognized two of the gryphons.

Apollo? Artemis? she exclaimed wiht disbelief. Is that really you?!

OOC: Fang, your turn on this one

OOC: Now I have Ares...this will be interesting...

IC:

Apollo nuzzled Athena affectionately, almost purring with joy. It's been too long sister, where have you been for so long? I'm just so pleased to see you! he exclaimed with feeling.

I've been traveling, Athena replied, laughing. It's great to see you too. Both of you, she added, reffering both him and Artemis. I hope you've been well?

I have managed to sustain an average life-style, that is, until I had been greeted by some...unexpected guests, Artemis answered with a curt nod towards the others. It's nice to know that we haven't gone extinct yet.

What she means is, we're glad to see you alive, Apollo intervened, before an argument broke out between them. Artemis and Athena were not very close sisters, and Apollo had attempted to keep the peace between his sisters.

Athena dipped her head to the two gryphons that were unfamiliar to her. Greetings, I am Athena, the youngest out of my four siblings, she chirped. Athena fluttered her wings in an excited fashion. Why have all of you come to gather? I have merely been passing by, when I noticed everyone around...

And as you can see, it wasn't planned, Artemis grumbled under her breath. She added to Elika so as not to keep her out of the loop, Look, I'm sorry you feel out of place. To be honest, I would feel like that too if I was among a different race. So you're here, you might as well converse with us.

While the other gryphons had been conversing, one more made his way over the sky. It was Ares, the biggest gryphon among the four siblings even though he wasn't as old as Artemis or Apollo. He was massive, even for a normal male gryphon, with extra-thick talons and a razor sharp beak. His eyes glimmered with the hopes of finding something useful to do, say find a battle to fight. He hadn't been fighting in a long time, and his talons curled eagerly at the thought of his helpless victims that would squirm beneath his steel grip.

However, that would have to wait. A scent distracted him; one that he had known since the day he had hatched.

Apollo. Artemis. Athena. So you have made your way here, he mumbled to himself, drifting closer towards the mountains, where he saw a group of gryphons gathered in a single area.

How odd. Perhaps I ought to make myself known, he murmured.

My sisters and brother, he called out. I wouldn't have known you were here. It is...always nice to see you again.

U'lfr watched as the others made their acquaintences and said, Hello, I am U'lfr. It is nice to meet you. said the gryphon as he watched one more "thing" fly over in the sky. It looked like it would be large, but he ignored it.

OOC: Pass.

ooc: Sorry I forgot about this one XD

Cratos raised an eye ridge at Elika's comments. You... were a god? Cratos asked bemused. The idea just seemed so ridiculous to him. He walked back with Elika by his side to greet the new smaller gryphon. Cratos lowered his head and said, Hello Athena, I'm Cratos, it's a pleasure to meet you. He looked between the two females, he sensed some tension, but just assumed it was some sort of sibling rivalry. When the sound of flapping filled his ears, again, Cratos looked up. Is there something magical about this one spot?!

OOC: I think that we may have to skip Fanghur, I don't think anyone has seen her, so, I guess thqat if there are no objections, it is...Kit's turn.

OOC: I'm going to skip this go around, not sure what we're going to do

OOC: Astral your turn in this one too, whenever you get on!

OOC: I know this RPG is old, but it is still unfinished, and since we are starting to get the RPers back I thought I just ask if we wanted to start this one, among others, back up again? I'm game for it, but I can't RP by myself, so anyone else want to give it a try?

OOC: Oh my gosh I haven't even realized I had an rp in Surda! I am most certianly game to finish this, though Leo hasn't been on since October of last year, and he was Athena's planned mate...so I'm not sure what's going to happen there. And Fang hasn't been on since...well, it doesn't say so it would just be you and me Kit unless someone else would like to join?
