 IDMIDM stands for Intelligent Dance Music. A lot of it focuses around deep, ambient synths and soothing melodies which make it good music to chill to.

Re: IDM Aphex Twin is brilliant.
If you like his stuff, you should definately listen to ยต-Ziq, and Venetian Snares has done some IDM too, although a lot of his stuff is more Breakcore. Here is one of Venetian Snares' more IDM-ish songs: |

Re: IDM Yes, it's a brilliant song. Venetian Snares is one of the best, IMO.
