Flight: U'lfr is by no means an awesome flyer, however he is a wonderful aerial fighter. He can neither fly excessively high, nor fast, but years of experience give him something of an advantage over other enemies in the skies. He is a strong flyer, though he cannot fly fast. His years of flying in the tough and rough winds above the Beor Mountains have built up the muscles in his wings, and now he can easily ride through even the most powerful storms.

Claw/Beak Fighting: U'lfr has spent years training his ability with his claws and beak. He hunts only the fastest, strongest, and most ferocious creatures in the Beors, the cave bear, the giant boar, the shrrg, and the Feldûnost are what he eats. Each of these creatures has given him experience in killing fast creatures, strong, and fierce animals. These creatures have given him great power and strength.

Vampire powers: Having been bitten by a vampire, U'lfr has become the first ever vampire gryphon. He can see better, hear better, but his sense of smell has more the doubled. He is also much faster and stronger. He can screech and, just like a bat use ecolocation to see in the darkest of night and find food. He has a love for deer blood and loves it dearly. He has not yet learned the extent of his powers, but Alucard is teaching him.

Character Personality: U'lfr is an odd gryphon. He likes to be alone, but likes to know there are others out there. He is quiet and very reserved. He keeps himself to himself, almost always. He tries to avoid others, mainly because he doesn't like being around a large group of people, unless it is absolutely necessary. He is a hermit and likes it that way. He takes a lot of joy in the little things in life, and always looks for the good in things. He hates to see death, but knows that is a part of life, and does not oppose it. He refuses to take a side in the war between Galbatorix, and the Varden, because he does not really care for either side, and because for the most part he has been unaffected by the war. Also, because he sees the corruption on both sides of the war. U'lfr loves peace and quiet. He likes flying and hunting. He is quite intelligent, and is almost never without a good comeback. He is almost always prepared for battle. He trains a lot to keep both his mind and body sharp. He likes to study the other animals he comes into contact with and learn how they act in certain situations, which he uses for himself, to make himself a better fighter, tracker, and hunter. He is a hard worker and very honest. He almost never tells a lie. He will fight to the death for a friend and will die for family. He kills only when necessary, or when he is attacked, if he is in fact attacked, he is very ferocious and angry. He is very secretive, and rarely ever takes anyone into his home. He tends to avoid confrontations and prefers a peaceful life.

Character History: U'lfr was born deep within the Beor Mountain range. He hatched to loving parents, and a wonderful older sister. With whom he lived. He learned how to fly four weeks after he hatched from his egg, his father; Guðmundr was a mighty warrior from the far northern mountains, but years of battling fanghurs, dragons, and the other races of the land caused him to move his family south, to more hospitable lands. So here they were. His mother, Álfdís was a beautiful gryphon, the envy of many others, however they and their small colony was all that had come to the Beors to live, and the rest chose to stay and fight it out in the North. So, they were alone. Over the years, disease, age, and attacks from dwarves, animals, and dragons all but wiped out their entire family. It finally came down to U'lfr and his sister, Halldóra. They lived alone, and away from all others, for fear of coming under the attention of the new power in the land, Galbatorix. That was the last thing they needed, thousands of soldiers crawling all over their lands, so they hid. Eventually, Halldóra became tired of this constant hiding, and left, her last words to U'lfr were, "Stay safe, and careful. I am going back to our homelands to create a clan of my own and maybe one day, come back. Until then, love you, and be careful.” said the female gryphon as she winged away Northward. Leaving a sad and lonely U'lfr standing on the mountaintop. So, to keep his mind off of things, U'lfr left his old home and set about learning how to hunt better, and fight. He trained for years and years, until he was the supreme creature in his land. He still has yet to reveal himself to the world and stays hidden.

Not long after, U'lfr was bitten by the vampire, Alucard. He himself became a vampire and has his own love of blood.

Weapons:
Claws: U'lfr's claws are powerful and sharp. They are black and are almost always sharp. They grow quickly in case of breakage and sharpen when he walks. He constantly hones his skill with his claws and they are his main weapons.

Beak: U'lfr's beak is yellow(ish) and is quite sharp. It is very hard to prevent it from breaking. It is hooked at the end for tearing and ripping flesh. He does not use his beak as much as his claws, for the simple fact that to use them, he has to get his head close to the enemy.

Likes: U'lfr likes to fly, he loves snow and ice. He likes hunting as well as eating. He loves the blood of deer.

Dislikes: U'lfr dislikes excessively hot weather, he hates being caged up.

Animal Companions: None.

Character’s Physical Description: U'lfr is a powerfully built gryphon. He stands taller than any horse alive, and is about thirteen feet long. He has large black talons on his front feet. His feathers are a white/gray color, and his lion fur is a brown color. He is muscular and has a large yellow(ish) beak that is about five inches long. He has a decent wingspan of eighteen feet. His feathers and fur blend in well with the mountains. He is normally seen high in the mountains, hunting something. He is almost never away from the mountains, or with anyone for that matter. His eyes are a dark red.

Dreams for the Future: To one day bring the gryphons back to Alagaesia.

Reasons for Dreams: He hasn't seen any others of his kind in many years.
