in eldest it mentions that vervada, (saphiras mothe),r laid alot of egg but only entrusted one (saphira) to the riders.(p393)
does anyone think that these egg and/or their desendents will play a part in empire?

you don't know that for sure, all it says in eldest is that saphiras mother and father died in the fall, it doesnt mention about the eggs.

the eggs might be hidden somewhere that cant be reached and only they knew of

but there may not have been enough food /hard times during the fall, so they may not have hatched yet.

but they would have been found by now

if they where hidden deep in the spine, or in the hadrac desert, they may not have been found yet as few people venture there

actually, dragns originated from the hadarac desert so there might be eggs there

but they don't hatch if there is a lack of food
