Siblings: Brother: Umbra.

Character Personality: Ignis has suffered greatly at the hands of others since he was a hatchling. This led to him being a broken spirit. He was held captive and abused for so long that by the time came that he was strong enough to break his bonds, he doubted himself so greatly he dared not try. Ignis is withdrawn and secluded soul that keeps his ideas and thoughts close to his heart. Ignis is not an aggressive one yet he is quick to attack those who endanger him or attempt to enslave him in any means. He is by no means wrathful, but he is fierce when need arises even for his small stature Ignis will launch himself at any enemy who threatens him. Ignis's love of freedom has given him something he thought lost and beyond his reach. Ignis heart is slowly being rekindled with the strength of a Dragon and the untamed part of him will soon awaken in full. The winds and freedom have shown him what there is to gain from life and Ignis is glad to have a reason to live for the first time. The longer he spends free from chains and bond the more Ignis is starting to become assured of himself and slowly beginning to open to those he meets. Lately he is getting a a new thirst for the knowledge of his races and their history, he finds that his captive has left him with the barest understanding of the events of the world, past and present.

Character History: Ignis hatched in the caves within the mountains of the Hadarac Desert with only his brothers egg by his side. He was alone and fear gripped him as he had not ment to hatch while the others were away, but he felt compelled to hatch soon. When Ignis was 5 weeks old he was wrapped around his brothers egg trying to keep it warm until the others returned, and a new sound entered his life. A dark, menacing chuckle. Ignis has never forgotten that sound in all his life. Him and his brother had been discovered. Ignis tried to protect the egg but he was too young and the Forsworn and Nameless One were too strong. They took the egg and began to chant over it. Then Ignis did not know what was happening, now he realises it was the spells used to turn an egg into a Rider's Dragon.

Ignis was taken alive and kept alive by the two. They took him to their land far west to another range of mountains were he was kept with a dark carven underneath the manse. He was bonded in chains enchanted to pain him greatly whenever he attempted to break it. Ignis lived like this many years. Until eventually he stopped tugging on the chain. The man who brought him food stopped coming for many a week. And then a new one came. Ignis learnt that the Rider had been slain and their was a new master. At first it gave him hope, but the cords and chains still held him and the pain was still too great.

Another set of decades passed and Ignis grew accustomed to the dark and cold. He had lost the will to live yet could not bring himself to end his own life. When yet again the mortal who owned the land passed into the void. And this time Ignis seized his chance. He ignored the pain, he forgot the world and only focussed on the strength within himself. Soon he heard the crack and tug of chain breaking in a hundred places. Ignis roared like a true Dragon for once in his life. He flew from the prison and as he flew he released a torrent of flame he had never even tried before.

Ignis escaped that day and ever since he has been trying to discover what has happened to his kin and why the world has come to fall on it's knees. He roams the Empire helping any who he feels deserve a Dragon's attention.

Likes: The freedom and peace the skies offer him.

Dislikes: What has become of his kind and how the world has fallen so far from such a high.

Weakness / Fear: Of being captured and chained against his will once more.

Character's Physical Description: Due to Ignis's up bringing his growth was stinted which leads to him being small in stature compared to the size of most dragons his age. His once golden scales have been bleached of colour from the years of darkness, now his scales only contain a hint of golden colour while his claws, horns and membranes of his wings show the colour that could have been if he had lived a normal life. Ignis's eyes are the colour of citrine and hold both his pain and his hopes.

Dreams for the Future: To restore the dragons to their revered status once more.

Reason for Dreams: Years of torment and torture led Ignis to despair, once freed he fell in love with the feeling of spread wings and wind.
