OOC: Are going across on Eriel's ice, or is Ret pulling/pushing us across with magic?

OOC: I thought it was something like this...

All of 'us' in our little group are on the ice, cept for the shade, who's on an island further up.
I'm propelling the ice forwards, and with it, everyone in the group.
Ret is pushing everything outside our group across the water.

Right?

OOC: I'll have him push those who aren't on the ice, those who want to be on the ice can and those in the water can go there too.

"I'm not exactly throwing them around!" Eriel shouted back as she finished the serpent off.
Catching the glint of steel in the corner of her eye, Eriel instinctively ducked and smacked her attacker's face with her forearm. She looked at the man passively and killed him with the third word of death.
Turning to Shyra, she said. "Well, I wouldn't mind moving off, except of course, which direction are we going in?"

OOC:Short.

Arnon sighed and walked onto the raft. He refused the raft he was offered and chose to use his skills in he protection of the boat. He said, "I will need to have my hands free to effectively protect the raft, which should be of more importance that one more oar." said the shade in desguise as he sat in the center of the raft in cross-leg fasion, with his sword resting on his lap. He watched the sky, wondering how much longer he will need these ... fools.

OOC: Arnon is a jerk, lol. If her were a real person, I would hate him, lol.

OOC: Pass

Ret climbed aboard the raft and sat down, fatigue still heavy on his limbs.

OOC: I'm back And Aeraldi, Louis fixed my account up
Red was the creator of this thread right? Any one knows where he is?


IC: Eriel looked sidelong at Arron and smiled sweetly.
Something doesn't smell right about him. Eriel commented to Emrhyst as she lifted Quicksilver onto the raft.
The eldunari glowed dully as Emrhyst replied.
He smells of death Eriel Emrhyst replied coyly, then her tone turned serious. Don't let down your guard, and always keep him in your sight. Emrhyst hissed softly into her indlvarn's mind.

Smiling wryly, the elf felt the sudden pull of fatigue as she split apart the ice in the direction they were to row in, grateful that Aaron had helped her with it.
"What's this? Are the men going to leave all the rowing to us ladies?" Eriel let out a laugh after they had rowed about a mile out, indicating to herself and Shyra.
They had more than a hundred more to go, and the elf promised to make all the guys, or at the very least, Retribution and Aaron take over the oars once they passed the twentieth mile.

OOC: I am going to wait on Red. I think we skipped him.

OOC: @ Red. That's right

Just wondering though... I think we need a new order now.

OOC: Just looked at the previous order and it is,

So, if we ar estill following the old order, despte the confusion it would be Aeraldi's turn, then Eriel, then Me, then Kit.

OOC: Alright. Let's just go with that then.

IC: Eriel turned to look at Ret, feigning deep hurt as he snapped at her. She soon began to smile again when he apologized.
Smiling at him, she couldn't help but laugh inside her.
'If only he'd known what I've been through.' She thought to herself as she pulled back on the oars.
The smell of the sea made the elleth suddenly feel hungry, and the fact that Ret was eating right in front of her only exacerbated the situation. Groaning inwardly, the elleth made a mental note to pick up some fruit first thing they changed over the oars.
"Ah, Mesaraih. How nice of you to join us." Eriel said after Ret snapped at him.
The elleth quickly frowned at Mesaraih in annoyance when he pulled on the side of the boat to get up. He would have capsized it had the elleth not restrained the boat, drawing on her already diminishing energy supply.

OOC: It is Arnon, not Aaron.

IC:
Arnon smiled sweetly at Eriel and said, "That is precicely what I will do." said the shade in desguise as he leaned back on the raft and casted a small spell to stabalize the raft slightly as a man grabbed the edge of the boat. He had already raised his blade ot strike the man down when the others recognized him. He sighed, slightly put-off at not being able to kill the potential threat, but now was not the time for him to act. He would do that just before the race ended. He looked at the man who he immediately recognized as Mesariah. He was the man that he and Reik had fought earlier, well, who Reik had mainly fought, Arnon was much too busy trying to kill Anthor. He said, "Oh joy, another person who will likely get in my way. Well, you may as well make yourself useful, grab an oar and help the others, they are starting to complain." said the shade as he turned back to look at the looming mountains in front of them. The mountains spewed liquid hot lava out of their tops, the shade looked at them with nervous eyes.

"Whatever, I don't care." Ret said, returning to the rowing. "If anyone cares, there is food in my backpack. Help yourselves to it, there's nothing else in it anyway." He mentioned the pack he held at his feet as he rowed, different from the pouch he held beside his heart.

I didn't do it for them, they are more powerful when they have energy and besides, now they owe me.
Ret felt disapproval through their bond.

OOC: If anyone does look, there's salted meat and a number of vegetables.

OOC: That was aimed DIRECTLY at Eriel wasn't it

IC: Eriel looked at the pack and sighed. She was faced with an agonizing dilemma. She could eat her own fruits, which she was certain would be sweeter than some vegetables and meat, or she could eat Ret's food, which would allow her to conserve her own supplies.
'Then again we are a team now, and I wouldn't want to offend him by refusing his offer...' Eriel found herself thinking absentmindedly.

Then, something so unexpected happened it made the elleth flush crimson.
Her stomach groaned.

"That was... Interesting..." Eriel said, barely a whisper, trying her hardest to put her mind off the fact that pretty much everyone who had ears were looking at her.
Without noticing it, she dropped her oar onto her lap and reached into Ret's pack, taking a potato.

OOC: There we go. Something to lighten the mood

OOC: Why yes, yes it was, lol.

IC:
Arnon was not hungry for the magic-user's food. He could get his own later, and besides, he had other things to do. They were now pretty far into the volcanic mountains and now all of them were erupting, at least slightly. He watched them, casting the unusual spell now and them to defelct the burning contents of the mountains from their raft, which wa smade from wood. He looked along the shore of the river and saw some other copetitors running as fast as possible to avoid the magma, and seeing some of them get past it, while others were burned to a crisp. His normally uncaring face broke into an evil grin when he saw one man in particular, a large northman burned alive by the miolten rock.

OOC: Okay, is everyone jumping in the water after Kit, or to get ashore?

OOC: I am sorry for posting here. I forgot to log my file of before he got on, and he forgot to try to log his in. That is why this fole posted here. Again, I am very sorry, it will not happen again.

OOC: Personally, mine is (planning) to jump onto shore...

IC: Shyra was forced leave the sinking raft and move to shore. She had no idea what to do about Kit, he had just disappeared.

She staggered ashore with the others. She tried to touch Kit's mind, but it was gone. This had happened before, but with all the chaos and peril she only came to one conclusion, he was dead. She fought back tears as they began to spill over. What was going to happen to Shyara, or her for that matter?

OOC: Sorry bout the late post.

Ret looked ahead, then looked at the rest and sighed. He then jumped into the water and begun swimming to shore.

OOC: Hey!! I just realized we skipped Red. I'll wait a few days before posting to give him a chance to get on and post.

OOC: Red's gone...

OOC: Oh, sorry, I don't usually keep up on who's left and who's not.

IC: Shyra was forced to bury her feeling and defend herself.

Her double blades whirled around in a blur, block and giving attacks. The venomous tail on the scorpions snapped at her. In her block of the strike, she put her blades into the head of the scorpion.

OOC: Pass, I'm not exactly sure what's going on.

OOC: We just jumped off our little raft which was heading for... something bad I believe. We're on a little island and are being attacked by scorpions
