Anthor and Voenth had been training deep in the Beor Mountains and they had gotten themselves lost. They were about twenty miles west of the shore on the other side of the mountains and they had no clue where they were. They decieced to sit down and try to contact Gornath, when suddenly they were attached by a huge group of kull!

They were holding their own when they were suddenly imobalized by two shades of about the same sive, they almost looked identical.

OOC:Open to anyone

OCC: Here comes Alec! Well...ok here it goes...

Alec watched the group of Kull. He was lost in the Beor Mountains and he had come upon the group of fearsome enemies.
"Great place for this to happen!" he muttered to himself. Settling back into the rocky crevice he had found the night before, Alec planned out what he would do.
"My water is all gone, as is the food..." he murmured. "Better just rest and wait for that group to pass." he thought to himself.
Before he could blink however, an urgal was upon him.

OOC: This is a different group then the ones attacking your charrys voenth...Alec will meet up with your guys later.

OOC: ok

IC: Anthor and Voenth knew that they were in deep trouble, they couldn't move and their magic had somehow been disabled, and on top of that they were being carried to a fortress in the muntains...


OOC: Short..

When they were allowed to move their heads, they saw that they were in a cell with a half human half elf they were very quiet and acted like they were still immobalized, and they whispered to their cell mate "If you can hear us, twicth your left foot."

Short....

OOC: Is the half elf Alec?

OOC: Yea, lol read your app lol

OOC: Ok...

Alec woke from his unconscious state. He found he was in a cell with two other beings.
"If you can hear us, twicth your left foot." one of them whispered.
Alec did it so subtly that he could hardly spot the movement himself.

OOC: short...

Alec slipped the knife from one of his vambraces and with expertise tossed it handle first to Voenth. He grinned.
"That ought to do the trick."

OOC: Short...hehe...

Alec sighed and whispered loud enough for Voenth to hear, "Are'nt you forgetting something?"

OOC: Really short...

OOC: Suprise entering! Sorry if I messed up someone's turn.

Paconio had been walking along the beor moutains when he had spotted a group of kull. On instinct of not wanting to fight, he used magic to make himself invisible. Paconio knew there was something behind these kull, something of great power. He felt his magic abilities fade away as two beings of about the same hieght approached him. Shades!!!!!he cursed in his thoughts. He was quickly captured, and was escorted by a group of kull to his cell.

Using magic, he made it so no body nearby would hear him or the kull. With that, he slew all of the kull and hid them behind a few barrels. He raced down the hall to freedom when he spotted a few prisoners attempting to escape. He ducked inside of the cell and checked to see if there was any one left inside. He did happen to find a half elf half human. For honor of seeing part of his race, he unlocked the lock. He quickly turned to the others and said "If you wish to live another day, come with me."

OOC: Ok, remember that there is a human(Anthor), an elf(Voenth), and a half elf half human(Alec) so plaese edit your post.

IC: Both anthor and Voenth welcomed the newcomer, and told him that they must get out at all costs, and that they had special secrets that didn't need to fall into the hands of the shades, just then; a group of five kull and a small ogre(Idk if its allowed or not...) walked down the hall, Anthor quickly blinded the group and snapped the neck of two urgals while Voenth killed the Ork with the dagger that Alec had let him use, when the fight was over, onl;e one urgal escaped, but that was one too many, because they were sure that he would bring reinforcements, but at the time they had to get out of the fortress.

OOC: i'll join, but I'll post after Ben does it that is okay with you guys

The order is me, Rider of Death, Ben, and then Kit, so it is Rider of Death's turn.

OOC: congrats on your promotion Voenth!

Alec decided to take matters into his own hnds and unlocked himself.
"Perfect." He thought to himself. "I'm in!"
He glanced around at the others. "Now to lose these guys...but first my knife." He ran up behing Voenth did a front flip over him in the process snatching back his weapon back. Then he quickly ran down the hallway.

OOC: This was completely random. I didnt plan it this way...

Wonderful Paconio said in his mind. I don't quite know if these guys mean me harm or not... he thought deeply to himself. Since he could come up with no conclusion, he gave them each a little bit of strength, said "See 'ya later guys" to them, and darted after the elf/human that ran off.

OOC: sorry, terribly short.

OOC: Ima introduce my new charry!

Anthor had been running after them because he knew that they wereboth going in the direction of the shades and the main body of urgals, he thought to himself, I must catch them, if I don't they are likely to die!

Voenth ran as fast as he could, and he came upon a clearing where he thought Shyara and Kit were waiting. He was running when a spear stopped him in his tracks.

The spear as it were was held by a dwarf, he was tall for a dwarf, but still excessively short by all other standards. He was on the back of a monsterous Feldûnost. It made the dwarf as tal if not taller than Voenth. He held the Spear threateningly then asked him, "Are you with the shades in that fortress or have you just escaped?

Voenth answered, "No I am not with these shades nor the urgals that follow them, I am with the Varden, the Elves, the Dragons, and the Dearves."

"A likely story, why would anyone be out here this is dangerouus country, come we will find out if you tell the truth or lie, we will go to Farthen Dur." Just then they came into a small open space in the woods, and there was a beautiful dragon and a young human rider.

OOC: is that Kit & Shyara?

OOC:
yea

OOC: Okay cool, I'll go real quick.

IC: When Shyara saw Veonth at spear point, she became enraged. She breathed a ring of fire around the dwarf and Veonth.

Kit flung himself off Shyara's back and rushed in through the flames. He timed it just right so that the dwarf didn't see him jump through the swelling mass of the fire. He hit the dwarf shoulder first and knocked him the ground. In a flash Kit was on top of him with his dagger to his throat. he heard some movement behind him but kept his eyes focused on the dwarf. Before Kit asked the dwarf questions, Kit yelled back to Veonth, "Where's the others?"

The movement Kit had heard was Shyara subduing the Feldnost, when it tried to ram Kit from behind. She now held it between her fore-paws.

OOC: is this your dwarf character?

OOC: yea

RIDER OF DEATH IT IS YOUR TURN.

But Kit just went so isn't it your turn?

OOC: He went to respond to my charry, so its your turn.

OOC: ok...

Alec looked at the figure below. It was time to leave. Without a sound he jumped from rafter to rafter. Using his mind he found the exit and left the tunnels. There, he found a battle in progress.

OOC: The order is : Voenth, ROD, Ben, Kit, it is your turn Kit.

Voenth said, "Where do you come from?! Who do you serve?! Why are you here?!" He allowed the dwarf up but still held his sword threatening close to the dwarves neck.

"I am called Ranog, the feldonost(sp) is called Urson. We are here to investigate the numerous disappearances of dwarves in this area. We come from Farthen Dur. We serve Orik and him alone. We are part of an elite force of dwarven rangers." Having said that he prepaired for any attack that the elf, dragon, anf human could mount aganst him.

Alec quickly hid himself and listened.
OOC: Its short because I want you guys to move on the story...sorry...

Alec had heard enough. These people would be of no help to him. This wasn't the right place either. Everything had gone wrong, but it was not over. He chuckled silently. He'd get what he wanted sooner or later.

OOC: Just though I'd add a little mystery lol.

"Ah, that person," Paconio replied to Anthor. I saw him in the rafters earlier, but when I went after him proposing diplomacy, he left..."

OOC: Kit it is your turn.

OOC: Pass this turn

OOC: this needs to pick up guys, or I think I might quit it.

IC: Kit finished putting everything on Shyara and helped Shyra up onto her back. "Oops," He jumped off, "Almost forgot our bag of gold." He ran over to where the tent was and started digging with his hands. He heard Shyara growl and looked back at her then in front of him. A Shade stepped on his hand. "What do we have here?" It asked. "A Rider, a Dragon, and an Elf." It reached down and grabbed Kit by the hair and jerked him up. In a quick flash Kit drew his dagger and slashed the Shade's gut. He then dove to the side as an arrow pieced its heart. Kit grabbed the bag and jumped up on Shyara. "Thanks Shy."

"You're welcome."

Shyara hurled herself into the air. If we got attacked, then the others probably did to.

You're right, lets go.

OOC: I know, but I can only reply with big paragraphs if someone else posts big huge paragraphs...

Voenth saw Paochino get taken away by the shade. He ran to try and help only to get surrounded bby Kull. He began to whip both of his swords around his head at an extreme speed. He then said the words "slytha abr andlat" And immediately the urgals surrounding him fell to the ground, sound asleep, a sleep that they would not wake from. Voenth began to run after the urgals carring the form of Paochino

Ranog and Urson were having a very hard time. They had been holding their own untill the shades came. The first thing they did was put Urson to sleep os that he was no longer a threat. Ranog was in the middle of a wizards duel and still trying to stop the advancing urgals, he knew if he did not break the minds of the shade soon, he would get killed.

Anthor was holding his own well, untill he thought, Kit has been gone too long. He killed the few urgals that were around him and sped in the direction that he saw Kit ans Shyara fly.

OOC: Better?

Alec was surrounded by a world of darkness where no light could gain entrance. A horrible laughter filled his ears. Where was he? The void? Time seemed to stand still, the sounds of the battle that he knew was going on around him seemed to emit from a deep cavern where only death reigned. Was he dead? Or was he alive? The laughter continued and grew. He smelled blood. His mind seemed to scream out in agony. He was gone! Lost! Nothing mattered any more! But no; it was a separate voice screaming in the caverns of his thoughts. Suddenly he remembered. A shade! Resolve quickly replaced his despair. He had to fight! With all the power he could muster he drove his will against his enemy’s. The laughter stopped. A strong blast sought to destroy him. He did not give in; he would never give in! He attacked, strengthening the barriers around the new ground he had gained. The slightest amount of fear crept into the thoughts of the shade and gave Alec confidence. He strengthened his attack. Soon he again controlled his thoughts. Opening his eyes he saw the wound in his stomach and he gasped. The being attacked his thoughts again. Alec stopped the advance, glanced around, saw the shade and with the last of his strength drew a knife and threw it. Time froze. All that mattered was the blade. It struck its mark. The shade screamed. The pressure lifted from his mind. Alec passed out.

OOC: How about this?

Kit and the rest were on their way back to the battle when Kit spotted Anthor. He easily figured out the reason why he was running in their direction. Anthor, we're here.

Shyara swooped down and threw him on her back, then continued straight. Where is Gornath? she asked him. Shortly after he answered her question, she flew over battlefield. Worthless, she said to herself. She let out a jet of flame and burned the Urgals surrounding those on the ground. She touched down for just enough time to let Kit, Shyra, and Anthor off her back, then was up in the air again burning all enemies she could get too.

Kit pulled out his steel sword and began hacking away at the Urgals; none that faced him survived.

Shyra dropped down, pulled out her twin blades, and set out after Veonth, and Paconio. She lept up into the trees and ran across the tops, the Urgals unaware of her. When she came to the tree Paconio was tied to, she stuck one of her swords in the tree and slide down, a trick she had learned from Kit. She cut Pacinio free, and stuck both swords into the grey flesh of two Urgals and ripped them out sidesways, cutting through their vital organs.

OOC: Don't forget Veonth that you need to answer Shyara's question.

OOC: As Alec is out cold I will pass.

OOC: /short, sort of halfway pass

Paconio fell to the ground and was free. "Thank you" he said to Shyra. "Without both of you guys, I would be dead by now" He now directed his comment to Voenth too.

"I shall not be able to help you guys in the battle, for the moment. I have to heal myself or I will most likely bleed to death from these wounds" He explained. Before he was even finished with his statement, he began healing his wounds. For some reason they would not heal as quickly as other wounds he had dealt with... They must have poisoned the tips of their swords... He said to himself

OOC: Since youguys have a better idea of what is going on this is going to be short.

"And I wonder," said Alec, "Why I couldn't sense them until they were in position for attack." He pretended to examine his blades and then looked up at the people surrounding him. "I owe you my life." He looked at each person in the eye. "I have never said this to anyone, but...It's true...I would have died on my own." With that he stood up. "Now to find my knife."

OOC: This is short

IC: Shyara let Kit and Shyra on her back and she followed Ranog.

OOC: Don't worry guys, my next post will be MUCH longer.

Alec suddenly stopped. "This seems fine, but I was wondering..." he paused and looked around at the others. "Where is our dwarf companion?"

OOC: I'll pass for now

OOC: Comeon Kit, at least a sentence, & BTW I would like to see the family tree, & thanks for putting it together.

OOC: okay, fine

IC: Shyara examined the knocked over cart. There was blood splattered across the inside of the covering canvas. This was done by something, but what, I have no idea. Nothing I know has this kind of scent, not shade, urgal, soldiers, dwarves, or anything. Listen, do you hear that? A very low breathing sound came from the trees, she doubted they could hear it. Suddenly are large beast jumped out of the surrounding trees and slashed at Shyara's neck as it dove into the forest on the other side of the path. Shyara just barely dodged it's razor claws. It stopped for a breif second before it dashed away. It stood over eight feet tall and was covered in thick long hair. It's teeth and claws were still crimson from the blood of who ever was in the wagon. It ran faster then anything Shyara had ever seen and leaped higher then a land creature should be able to. It walked on its two hind legs and let out an eerie howl, that reached into Shyara's soul and shook it. Shyara did not attempt to follow it, but chose to look for survivors, but sadly found none.

OOC: Better?

OOC: Yes, Much.

IC:
"Dear Hezvlog(sp)! I don't know what hat was, it had the speed of a felduonost, the body of a Shyrrg, and hat to have the power of a cave bear. We can't handel that monster Urson!" Said Ranogn Hysterically.

Anthor arrived at the scene right after the monster had attacked Shara and was in awe of the beast.

"What kind of beast is that!?" Screamed Voenth.

OOC: Guys, I'm going to bring in my new dragon this turn...

"Interesting..." Paconio said quietly. I think it is time you come Paconio said with his mind to his friend. Almost instantly, wing beating filled the air and a low growl was heard. A dark emerald green dragon appeared. It's eyes as blue as the ocean could be seen very clearly from where Paconio was at. When the dragon saw Paconio was not alone, it drew back a little bit. "Guys, I would like you all to meet Augustus, he is a little shy..." Paconio said.

Augustus got Paconio's message. I'm on my way... He said. Augustus sprang out of his hiding place and into the air. He then flew in the direction in witch Paconio told him to. Augustus arrived in moments, but then slightly drew back. He was too shy to really say anything to anyone other than Paconio. You should have told me other people would be here! Augustus yelled at Paconio.

OOC: Pass for now...

Augustus descended to the ground, right next to Paconio. I don't know if any of you have noticed, but the killer is right there... He said in a very quiet tone of voice to the others.

"Go guys, we can handle ourselves here" Paconio said. He then drew his riders sword and pointed it at the beast. It growled in response... "Hurry! Go before it is too late!" He shouted.

IC: Shyara looked over at the creature. It growled low and menacing, but Shyara held her ground. She looked it straight in eyes and roared as loud and ferocious as she could. It flinched slightly and Shyara took it as an opening she rushed forward and lashed out with her tail. It dodged it as if it were barely moving toward it. She let out a torrent of flame but the creature was unfazed; fire hit it but did no damage. Shyara had one last idea; she let out an extremely large torrent of flame and struck with her tail with it couldn't see through the flame. She hit it in the shoulder and yelped in pain. It drew back into the forest, and left the group alone once more.
