Skills: He is an expert blacksmith, and can make armor, weapons, and shields. He was responsible for make some of the armor in the war his people had. Only one of his weapons have ever broken and that was fighting a Ra'zac.

Ceude is also an excellent fighter. He has defeated everyone he has come across, except other dragon riders. During his training as a rider he lost nearly all of his fights, yet showed incredible thought behind his actions.

Home village: Silthrim

Parents: his father a blacksmith, and his mother died when he was young.

Siblings: He once had a brother but disowned him from the family when he sided with Galbatorix.

Personality: He is quiet, and mainly stays to himself. However, he is not afraid to speak his mind and express his views. If he believes strongly in something he won't back down from his opinion. The only people he mainly talks to are his father, his friends, and his dragon. If he has a goal he will stop at nothing to accomplish it even if it means his death. Ceude has a goal to defeat his brother for betraying them, and to bring down galbatorix for what he has done. Also he is an extremely hard worker. Once he sets his sights upon something he doesn't back down. During a fight he tries his hardest i order to win, and he doesn't like losing. If it comes between a firend's life or his own he will give his life up without a second thought. Most of the time he keeps his cool, but when something really goes against what he's about he can get angry. The only people he can't get angry at are his family, except for his brother, or his friends. During a fight, however if he loses his cool his anger gets in the way, and he can mess up badly. So most of the times he hides what he is truelly thinking until he feels it's right to express them.

History: Ceude was raised in the elf village of Silthrim, by his father. His mother died a few years after he was born. Also, his only brother, who he looked up to, is now his greatest enemy. Ceude's brother left Silthrim and sided with Galbatorix. He is now hated throughout Du Weldenvarden for what he has done. This is what fueled Ceude's training in fighting and magic in order to right what his brother has done to their family and the entire race of elves. Being the son of a blacksmith he learned to make armor, and weapons, everything he would need to fight. He trained diligently in this craft and excelled in it. Soon he was asked to make weapons for the elves, and Varden, and he accepted tyhis until his life changed. A few years ago Ceude found a dragon egg a few days before the Agaeti Blodhren, this shocked him and his family, and it hatched for him during the height of the festivities. When Ceude returned that day he found the egg moving and when he approached it it hatched for him. When the young dragon hatched for him he couldn't believe it, him of all people. This was exactly what he needed to fight Galbatorix, and his brother. A couple of months after his dragon, Jaid, hatched he headed towards Ellesmera for his dragon rider training. He struggled at first, but he trained hard and eventually did exceptionally well. Now he seeks his brother for revenge, and Galbatorix.

Weapons: A lance that Ceude forged for himself. The tip is emerald green like Jaid. It is set upon steel that won't rust from rain or water. He also carries a oak short bow that he uses when he rides his dragon. The arrows he uses with his bow are made out of ash wood. He also has a rider's sword, the blade is green and curved like a scimitar. On the bottom of the handle is a likeness of a dragon's head with an emerald in it's mouth. Ceude prefers his own lance, but will use his sword when fighting another rider.

Likes: He likes to be with his family, friends, and his dragon. Also he likes to meditate, and think about alot.

Dislikes: Ceude dislikes his brother, and Galbatorix.

Animal companions: Besides his dragon he has no animal companions.

Physical description: He is tall, 6'3", slender, and thin. His body is sturdy, strong, yet incredibly agile. He does have strength, he just doesn't look it. He has long silver hair that goes to his back, that seems to glow in the moonlight. His eyes are a deep, dark blue. His gaze almost never falters, and he can keep trak of the slightest movements. He wears a midnight blue chainmail, that has silver trim around it, that was forged by his father.

Dreams for the future: His dreams for the future are to defeat his brother and Galbatorix.

Reason for dream: His brother betrayed his family to side with Galbatorix, and Galbatorix has brought to much evil to the world.

Alignment: He sides with anyone opposing Galbatorix, the Varden, the elves, and anyone else.

Dragon: Jaid

Age: about 1 year old.

Gender: Female

Parents: Unknown, but most likely wild dragons.

History:Before her egg was found her past is unkown. It is likely she was abandoned in the forest by her parents. Ceude found Jaid's egg before the Agaeti Blodhren, somewhere outside of Silthrim, and it hatched during the height of the celebration. During the few months before the training she grew fast, and had to be taken to a clearing, because it's the only place she would fit, in the dense trees. During training she tended do better than Ceude, because of this the two made quite a story for the other riders.

Personality: At first Jaid was quiet, and wouldn't talk, even to Ceude at times. Eventually, however, she opened up, and is actually quite talkative. Also, she is very curious. Most of the time she never stops asking questions, this annoys Ceude sometimes, especially when he is trying to meditate. Sometimes she would stray away from where she was supposed to be, and has had to be bailed out several times by Ceude. However, she has also helped Ceude out of tight spots when he has needed it.

Appearance: Jaid has scales that look like tiny emeralds. Along her back are ivory-like spines that look like waves flowing down her back and tail. Her leg muscles are small for a dragon, but her tail and wings are exceptionally poweful.

Armour: She wears no armor except a special saddle that fits over her wave-like spines.

Dreams: She dreams of helping Ceude wherever he may go, and also to learn as much as she can.

Reason for dream: She loves Ceude, and is very protective of him.
