OOC: An RP for Silv and I.

Cithrí. There it was. Kataar could faintly see the hazy silhouette of the town in the reaches of her eyesight. Roughly another league or so and they would reach the destination of their week-long trek. It seems that we are nearing the end of journey, commented Saru through the use of their mental link. This brings us one step closer to finding that filthy excuse for a human. His tone had taken on a sudden harshness to it, one that resounded with clear animosity. "Calm yourself, Saru. With a task such as this at hand, we cannot let anger cloud our minds and hinder our focus." Though she spoke this, Kataar felt the same anger and hatred in her heart as Saru. She and her Dragon were on a mission unlike any other they'd previously embraced. They were en route to track ... and this time, to kill.

Note:: Zeei is in her first state, so she's not quite herself yet.

Zeei crouched by the gates of the town, calculating how to make her entry. There was someone there she was looking for ... there she wanted to kill ... to shed ... to rip. Leaves brushed by her cheek and black tresses while she inched forward, hugging herself. How would she get in? Barge through? Surely, whichever way she selected was going to upset civilians, whether it be her actions, features or possibly even both. Her goal was to murder that one she hated though ... the one who'd insisted on taking part in a foul deed used against her. He deserved death. Zeei would rip him apart .. he'd see ... She'd rip him apart like a rag doll.
The scent of a dragon tuned in with her senses though ...

Post Re: Unlikely
The chill of the morning air mixed with the oxygen in Kataar's lungs, invigorating her and washing away her morning grogginess. She set off from the makeshift camp she and Saru had set up the night before, which was a little ways off from Cithrí. Far enough so that a dragon could go unnoticed. Kataar bid farewell to Saru, promising that she would return soon. Give that traitor what he deserves, he said. But please, he added firmly, be careful.

As Kataar neared the town, her mind begin buzzing in anticipation about what she needed to do very soon. She was looking for a traitor, and she would need to find a way to take his life, before he took hers. She warily fingered the small knives tied loosely to her wrist, under her sleeve. There would not be adequate water inside the town, and so she could only rely on the small weapons she carried. And her own skill. The guard let her through without a second look. Nothing about Kataar's appearance could reveal that she was a magician, and besides, she'd seen rocks more vigilant than that guard. When she was safely inside the town, however, she noticed something peculiar. It seemed that a small commotion was going on between a group of men and a girl. Looking closely, however, she realized that this was no ordinary girl, for on her head sat a pair of wolfish ears and what looked to be a fox's tail protruded from her body.

Whoa, Zeei's suddenly in the town talking to people? Lol ... ok ...

Zeei was suddenly in the town talking to people. Well, not really. She was sitting in the corner behind a boisterous group of reeking old men, up on a dark windowsill, half in the shadow. And she wasn't talking, just sitting there propped against the glass and trying not to think about the fun of killing off these idiots who were arguing with eachother. She didn't even worry about what the reason was, only trying to keep her hood on.
She noticed the eyes of a girl, older than her with long wavy hair in several different shades of brown. Her eyes were a piercing blue. Zeei noticed no more before slipping down an alleyway, out of sight.

OOC: Sorry, I meant more like she had gotten into the town and the guards caught her or something and she was trying to run away from them. I'll go with what you said though XD

Once inside the town, Kataar needed to somehow locate the scum she was after. "Where would he be in this place?", she wondered. For a second, Kataar felt as if someone was watching her. She quickly adjusted her vision to the left, but all she saw was a group of smelly old men. Wrinkling her nose with disgust, she thought, "The sooner I get out of this place, the better." She resumed her walk through the town. Her mind began to wander, thinking back to the incident that had brought her to this town in the first place. She remembered like it was yesterday. The screaming, the fire, the terror .. the day that the Empire soldiers had attacked her village. Her eyes closed as the memory took over ....

They arrived in huge numbers, seeking out any civilians who had some special ability, some way in which they could pose a threat to the Empire. However, they weren't taking prisoners that day. Kataar didn't know what to do at the time. She herself possessed magical abilities, and so did her mother. She ran to their house, so she and her mother could escape together. When she got there, however, she found that her mother was not alone. A soldier stood in the main room, while her mother was huddled on the floor. She looked up at Kataar, eyes full of pain. "Mum ... no!" Kataar had screamed, about to attack the soldier. "Not so fast, girl. One more step and you'll get to watch mommy here die a painful death," spoke the soldier. Kataar looked at his face, into those eyes full of sadistic desire. It was a face she would never be able to forget. The soldier began to advance towards Kataar. "Though ... I think you would be a lot more useful to me. You're so young ... you'd be of great service to the King." In a rough whisper, he added, "And to me." Seeing the intention in his voice, Kataar's mother lunged at the man, catching him by the throat. He was ready for her, however, and delivered a sharp blow to her neck. In that second, Kataar could feel her body become limp. She nearly fainted, but instead, she steeled herself and ran. With no where to go, she ran. Ran as far as she could. Ran from the village, the soldiers, her mother ...

The pain of the memory sent convulsions running through Kataar's body. She dropped to her knees where she stood, clenching her teeth in agony. Tears streamed down her face and onto the ground. "You ... I'll kill you ... I'll kill you ..... " she vowed. Half crying, half screaming.

What do you mean? Lol ... I noticed the most amusing typo in there ^.^

The men and other dull humans had soon left the streets onwards further into the city. Zeei was about to to the same when she noticed the girl on her knees ... crying.
Zeei watched, her vision distant as if leafing through far-off thoughts at that same moment. This girl seemed to be experiencing a breakdown, memories were lingering at her heels and had decided to snap at that moment. Though ... something must've triggered them. Zeei was almost convinced it was the image of herself that had done so since there was nothing else that seemed all that distinguishable here from any other towns. The experiment continued to watch though, studying the wavy hair that cascaded over the crying one's shoulders as she hunkered over. If only her eyes, at least were seen; then she'd be readable.
Zeei hated humans. Hated. But curiousity engulfed her. Pity didn't though, Zeei'd never felt anything like that before. Not now, not ever.
She made her way forward, footsteps noiseless as she squatted right before the girl, hugging her knees. Her coal-black ears twitched and her tail wagged slowly, trying to put on at least some sort of comforting display.
What's wrong ... ?

What typo? I don't see one >.0

Note: Kataar hasn't seen Zeei yet, I screwed up before.

Something startled Kataar. Someone, to be exact. Looking up, she saw a girl. A rather interesting girl, at that. She had black ears on her head, resembling a wolf, and a tail protruded from her body. It took a moment for Kataar to realize that the girl was talking to her. Wiping away her tears in fear of being taken as weak, Kataar quickly rose to her feet. "Nothing ... " she replied. "It was nothing, I just .... never mind." She eyed the girl for a second, contemplating whether or not she should tell the girl why she was in the town in the first place. Not wanting to inquire about the girl's interesting appearance, she said, "Perhaps you can help me, if you don't mind. I'm looking for someone. " She paused for a moment. "He used to be a soldier in the army, and I have reason to believe he lives here now." The look in her eyes tightened. "His name is Jimajen. Do you know him?"

Look again ;)
Zeei cowered slightly, more concern than fear written in her features, as the girl stood up. She rose too, tripping over herself slightly annd stepping awkwardly backwards. She raised in attention again ... Soldier? She didn't want to think of soldiers at all.
Zeei replied warily, "Sorry ... I don't uh ..." She cleared her throat hastily. "Comprehend names ... well ... Does he have a dignified smell ... perhaps?" She had no idea how a human's senses work, she was basing questions of her own body and mind. She watched the girl wipe away her eyes, hiding her emotions from Zeei, who stared rather dumbly, like a stupid dog. Eyes soft, face upturned a little and lips slightly parted.

But .. there isn't one ... =/

Did she just say ... smell? Kataar was confused. Maybe she didn't hear correctly, but she thought that the girl had just asked her if she knew what Jimajen smelled like ... "Um, well, no, no, I don't think I do ... " Not knowing what else to say, she inquired, "Why are you here? You don't look like you'd live here ..."

Zeei shook it off mentally and straightened herself, lips drawn back. "Haha, I don't? Where do I look like I should be?" Zeei paused. "And what's your name ... "

I was under the impression that they say "Mum" in the Eragon world XD

Kataar eyed the girl, thinking whether or not she should trust her with her name. It might complicate things. After what she planned to do here in this town, anyone who knew her name could easily report her to the Empire. However, there was something about this girl that made Kataar think that she wouldn't be the kind to do so. Carefully, she said, "I'm known as Kataar. And well ... you don't look like the other people in this town .. If I may ask, where do you come from"?

Lol, CP is in Montana. It's located in a country called the United States.

Zeei wasn't sure she particularly enjoyed being looked at in such a way. She shifted slightly, her tail lashing back and forth a bit. She sniffed haughtily and responded to Kataar softly. "I don't look like anyone in any town ... Where am I from? Haha ... you tell me." Zeei then turned and fixed her eyes mildly upon the girl's face, still damp with tears. She grinned and stepped towards her, placing a hand on her tanned cheek. "And you? Are you going to tell me who you are?" she breathed, still holding her charming elf grin as she watched Kataar gently but wildly through her eyelashes.
Kill or wait ... ? Kill or wait ... ?

I didn't mean CP, I meant like in the story! Like, y'know, they say "aye" and stuff like that ..

The touch of her hands was soft. But at the same time ... unusual. Kataar couldn't exactly put her finger on it. Her mouth twisted with questions, her eyebrows raised in silent pondering. "I wouldn't have the faintest idea as to where you would come from. I've never seen someone like you before." Not wanting to insult the girl, she added, "Not that I consider that as a bad thing ... I've already told you who I am. I am Kataar, here looking for a man named Jimajen. Although, you haven't told me who you are, as of yet."

I was just poking fun.

Zeei smiled and chuckled weightlessly. "It was a rhetorical question," she stated with a smile. She wasn't even certain as to why she was amused. Maybe she wasn't really feeling herself ... exactly. Not a matching version anyway. "And, I know your name, but I didn't ask for that. I meant you. Tell me who you are, and why a pretty girl like you would be kneeling in the street sobbing like that." She shrugged at the end. "If you wish to know, I myself ... am called Zeei ..." Called ...
All that time, Zeei wouldn't remove her hand. She had to appear kind before plotting on how to kill her.

Ohh... haha, yeah I knew that 8-[

Kataar didn't understand this girl. She was like the wind, changing direction, sending Kataar off balance. And her hand was still on her cheek, for a reason unknown to Kataar. Who ... I am? What could she mean by that? wondered Kataar. Deciding to answer her latter question, she responded, "If you wish to know ... I was reminded of a memory just now, but it's over now. Just forget it ... it was foolish of me to break down like that." Kataar was beginning to feel uncomfortable. This stranger was asking too much of her right now, when she needed to be looking for Jimajen. Deciding to remove the questions from herself, she asked Zeei, "Tell me, what is your business in this city? Perhaps you and I could be of assistance to one another."

You poor, poor thing lol.

Zeei gently took her hand back, her eyes angling again. She could easily translate that Kataar didn't want to continue, but Zeei couldn't help it. She was much too curious for that. "I'll kill you ... I'll kill you ... I'll kill you ..." she repeated with a smile. Maybe ... patience would work for effectively.
Zeei sighed, feeling weak ... as usual. "I don't have business ... I don't do business ... But ... I am interested." Great! This was coming along finely, help this girl, get her to gain her trust and soon Kataar will spill about herself and Zeei could move on. Nothing more needed, it was quite an interesting idea ... "Please ... go on ..."

What does she mean 'no business'? She has to be doing something all by herself in this town. I wonder if she has family here. She doesn't look to be older than 15. Why on earth is she here ... ? Again, the questions in Kataar's mind began to overwhelm her. Deciding that no more time could be wasted trying to pry Zeei for answers, Kataar took action. "Well then, if you are interested, would you mind coming along with me to find this Jimajen? Though, I must tell you, it can be dangerous." She looked into Zeei's eyes, awaiting a response.

Zeei twisted her mouth with musing. "Tell me again why we're after this ... soldier," She placed high emphasis on that last word. It wasn't necessarily faved among herself, but nevertheless, if a word had to be said ... or if one hated it so much, sometimes saying it like it was nothing made one eventually not care anymore.
Zeei noticed the waterpouch on Kataar's hip. An odd thing to be carrying, it was easy to find water except in the driest of places. Why did she have some on her? And why in such a small pouch? It seemed wortheless to Zeei. Was this girl a fool?
She twitced her ear warily.

So she had come right out and asked, hadn't she. So far Kataar had managed to avoid telling her the reason as to why she was searching for Jimajen, but now that she had asked, she couldn't avoid the question without losing some of the trust she hoped she was building with the girl. "If I tell you this, you must swear not to tell anyone of it." She looked around, to make sure no one was listening in on them. "Jimajen has greatly wronged me and the people of my village, and I plan to make him pay for it." She looked intensely into Zeei's face, "With his own blood."

"Lead the way," Zeei said, again trying not to sound weary.

Is she ... is she smiling? Zeei's reaction surprised Kataar, though she was beginning to learn to expect the unexpected when dealing with this girl. Taking a step, she walked past Zeei. "Follow me." The two girls walked for a ways down the alley, then took a right at the end of it. "I believe Jimajen should be living in this part of the town. The information I managed to dig up on him revealed that he left the Empire's soldiers, by running away, I would presume." The coward, she snarled to herself. "If I see him, I'll be able to recognize him in an instant. He is about a head taller than me, with loose, black hair, foul teeth that show when he smiles and a pair of beady, empty little eyes." Kataar cringed at the thought of the man's appearance in her memory. She realized that she knew not of Zeei's abilities in battle, and it would be wise to know before they met Jimajen. "Tell me, Zeei, do you have experience in combat?"

"I can be some use though ... I know it." She had to convince Kataar to keep her otherwise she'd have to try and kill her there and then. But ... Zeei hadn't been lying. She didn't even know too well how to fight, she only wanted people and things dead of her own accord.

Looking at Zeei, she asked, "What is your decision then?"

"Very well then. If we continue down this alley, I'm faintly certain he should be living in one of the houses along that side--", she cut herself off as she glimpsed a group of soldiers walking towards her and Zeei. Talking aloud might draw attention, but it was too late as they had already spotted the two girls and were making their way over. "Try not to look into their faces directly," she warned Zeei. "We don't want them recognizing us later on." Pulling her cloak down to cover most of her eyes, Kataar looked down at the ground while waiting for the soldiers to approach. When they neared, the one in the front addressed her. "Hello there, Miss. Are you lost? I don't think I've seen you around here before," he spoke, with a false ring of caring in his voice. Kataar flinched. She recognized his voice. Taking a risk, she slowly heightened her gaze to look him in the face. Sudden rage and shock engulfed her features. She recognized this man, he was someone she could never forget. It was Jimajen. Acting at the speed of light, she untucked the daggers under her sleeves and flashed them into her hands. She sidestepped, getting around him and pointing the small blade to his throat.

Zeei comprehended the situation immediately. She permitted her cloak to drop to the ground and perked up both coal-black ears while drilling her gaze into the rest of the soldiers eyes. Her tail was hoisted into the air, her lips tugged back to reveal four sharp canines. It wasn't much, but the sheer abnormal traits were just the perfect amount to pull the soldiers' attention away from Kataar to Zeei and then back away slowly, baring their weapons. Maybe they'll think I can use magic with my elvish body and face, Zeei made clear to herself, lashing her tail. From the corner of her eye she saw Kataar weilding the daggar at that lone soldier's throat. It had to be Jimajen unless this girl was foolish enough to provoke so many soldiers. Either way, Zeei wished that Kataar had not interrupted them in such a manner ... abush would've been more wise.
"Run him through!" Zeei hissed, more of an order than anything else.

Reacting fast, Kataar quickly slit Jimajen's throat without a second thought. This was no time for mercy. Stepping away from his now limp body, she ducked and positioned herself next to Zeei, who was intimidating the soldiers with her bizarre features. Acting like cowards, the soldiers retreated down the alley, their armor clanking loudly in the quiet of the street. Kataar exhaled deeply, relaxing her body and mind. On the floor lay Jimajen, a pool of crimson blood collecting near his neck. Finally, she thought. I have my revenge.

Zeei kneeled on the stone pavement and sniffed Jimajen's wound. She wasn't even sure why she did it, but she wanted to investigate the scent of his blood. The same as all humans, he was nothing special. At least, not to the elf-girl.
Her black tail tickled Kataar's leg. "Hmm ..." she mused. "You wanted revenge, correct?" Zeei stood up and glanced into Kataar's eyes, a wild grin appearing, totally unlike her. "You should show me where you came from," she suggested, a little less confident in her voice.
