IC:“Where is she?” Kit said aloud throwing the piece of wood he was fiddling with on the ground. “She was supposed to be her twenty minutes ago.”

Has it ever occurred to you that we don’t even know who this She is? Arya just told us to meet Her here, while she went somewhere with the Varden. Shyara said to Kit through their mental link. As she waited for a reply she opened her wings, stretched them out, and laid them on the ground. I’m getting cramped.

See, I’m not the only one getting anxious. What did Arya say again anyway?

She said that we are supposed to meet an Elf girl here; and the girl is supposed to help us with our assignment, to find the secret entrance into Galbatorix’s city that is at the bottom of Leona Lake, which is on the other side of Alagaësia, since we are in the corner of Du Weldenvarden. She stopped talking and said to herself, I wish I could ask him about Shyra, but all two-legs have too many emotions that aren’t in check.

Kit noticed her fidgeting a little bit and said What? letting anger with the girl seep through.

Well, um, she stumbled for the right words, speaking of Elves, she decided to begin, when is Shyra coming back, I miss her?

Me and her had a few disagreeing ideas, so she decided that we should separate. Women are hard to understand sometimes, especially Elven women.

She decided? Shyara said out loud but then to herself, I know it was you who wanted to leave. Why Kit didn’t you go after her, you two were made for each other. Shyra has strong feeling for you. After all, you named me after her, six four-weeks before you even knew her! Shyara then spoke out load again, Maybe this girl we are supposed to meet can help you fix your relationship?

Yeah, thanks for keeping my spirits up, you just- Hang on, I think someone is coming through the trees, stay quite.

OOC: the Elf girl Shyra, she is a character that i'm working on and hoping on adding later, Just so you know.

Jadier frowned as she walked through the woods with her cloak wrapped tightly around her. Her dark hair framed her face as she was wearing it down for once. She normally wasn't one to just waltz off to a stranger, but she really didn't have a choice. After what Arya said, she sort of had to go find this Kit fellow. She didn't want to go off and plunge into a dangerous mission, but of course...

Jadier had been on dangerous missions before, she didn't want to go off roaming the land. She didn't personally want to get in Galbatorix's way, but she also wasn't afraid of him. She'd done a few odd jobs for rather shady fellows, but she didn't care since they hadn't gone against her own personal moral values.

Her feet were light against the ground as she picked her way carefully over all of the roots. She really didn't have too much of an idea as to why she was going to travel half way across Alagaesia with Kit and his dragon to find this secret entrance, only because she had travelled a lot on her own and knew more about the landscape then most.

Finally after a while she came through a break in the trees. She saw the large dragon, and for a moment she was surprised at seeing the two. "I believe I'm the one you are waiting for, and you are the ones I've been looking for." She spoke in a normal tone, though she was carefully guarded.

Jadier watched the two, almost nervous by there presence, but it did not show, not at all. Her whole face was cool and collected. "I am not late," she smirked for a moment. "You are simply early." She looked at the dragon for a moment. She was great sight to behold, every part of her radiated strength and power. It is a pleasure to meet you strong one. Jadier bowed her slightly out of respect for the large creature.

"I do not fear her fire," she said and looked at Shyara. I believe you can control it if you focus on it enough, after all, you are a mighty dragon. Breathing fire is a natural thing, so I'm sure that you won't have difficulty at all controlling your own strength. She didn't want to sound offensive, she also didn't want to spoil any possiblities of friendship. After all, she was going to be travelling with them for quite a while.

Taking in a rather deep breath, she looked at the two. "So where exactly do you want to start, Arya was very vague on the exact part I'd play in your mission." She frowned at the recent memory. "I really have not a clue as to what is really going on. Just that I'm supposed to help you find a secret entrance." She shrugged.

She has a bit of saucy tongue herself, Shyara said to Kit, managing to swallow her fire, but red smoke burst from her nose. To Jadier she said, Thank you for the advice, I will take it to heart.

I told you not to say anything, you never listen, Kit said back to Shyara clearly enunciating 'never'.

Don't be so harsh, she seems nice. Now are you going to answer her question or do I have to? she said to him, and thought to herself, He doesn't realize that Shyra's leaving has had a big effect on his reactions to other people. I hope we run across her soon.


I will. He sweetened his tone to sound somewhat friendly, but made sure that it had an edge, so that Jadier knew that she had to earn his trust. "She was pretty vauge on the details for me too, but she gave me this map of Alagaësia and I've marked out the route I think we should take. We are here, at the edge of the forest west of Ília Fëon. I've marked it so that we can hit these two little patches of forest here then we can follow the edge of forest around till we hit Isenstar Lake. Then I figure we can build a raft and float down Ramr River, but we probably want to get out before we get to close to Urû'baen. We'll probably get out at the crest of the river were it makes a U-shape after Bullridge. Then we can cut across the grassland to the Toark River and follow that into the Leona Lake. What do you think about that?

Jadier merely shrugged her shoulders. You're welcome, but by all means, you are the one who needs congradulations. You could probably do anything if you merely set your mind about to doing it. She spoke to Shyara with full confidence in the magnificent beast. Jadier watched them for a moment, getting the feeling she was missing something. She brushed the thoughts from her mind, if it was important and pertained to their mission, then she was sure that they'd tell her what it was that they were conversing about.

Jadier looked over the marked path, it was actually pretty good. "You know, for a human, you aren't half bad." She commented, glancing up at him before she followed the path with her finger. "It would be good to steer clear of Uru'baen, but we'd make much better time if we cut through it, or at least close to it. It's risky, but it would be the best idea if we want to get to Leona Lake. Shyara could always fly ahead and wait for us, but if we have the time, then I'm afraid you've mapped out the best plan. Of course we should be prepared to expect obsticles in the way. Building a raft that would withstand the currents of the river would take enough time, even with magic." She sighed before stepping back.

"It doesn't matter, but I am curious, why does Arya want me on this mission? She never told me, and I was led on to assume that you'd know." She hoped she could know. It was rather odd to not know why she was needed.

My guess is that she wants us to make a few more friends and we still need some more training, she said this aloud so everyone could hear her, then to just Jadier, Kit isn't that good with a sword.

"I agree with Shyara," said Kit not hearing the last part of Shyara's speech, "She probably chose you because you're more experienced than me. I only became a Dragon rider a year ago and just met Ayra less than six months ago. I presume, that you've been doing this kind of thing for some time, after all Elves are much older than they look. She probably though we could use more training since I haven't been around Shyra for some time." Kit immediately shut his mouth and mention Shyra. He kind of wanted Jadier to press the issue a little bit so he could talk to someone besides Shyara.

OOC: As soon as Shyra's bio gets passed I'm going to add her as well.

Ooc - Haha, that would definitely add an interesting twist. I think just for this RP singularly, I'll have my dragon hatched, simply because I'm itching to develop him. I also want to keep the egg for different RP's. So I hope that's fine with you.

Ic - Jadier looked between them before she rolled one of her shoulders. She folded her arms, but smirked to herself at what Shyara had said about Kit not being that great with a blade yet. Well that's not good, especially since he's a rider. A lot of responsibility rests on his shoulders to keep you both alive. It was in an almost amused voice, but she didn't doubt that when the worst came about, Kit could probably hold his own out of instinct.

"It's true elves are older then they look, but I am still quite young for an elf, which makes me wonder why she'd put me with you. After all, she knows I can get my temper up if your kind is around me too long. I think she expects Shyara's presence to help me stay in check, though I'm not so sure." Her eyes flashed in a true warning, but it was mostly just a playful threat. An image darted in her mind and she smiled to herself for a moment, at some sort of personal joke. She shook her head before she turned her attention back onto Kit.

The name he used was similar to Shyara's, which she'd probably brush it off as a mistake, but the way he spoke made her curious. "Sorry, I would hate to intrude on a personal matter," she paused. "Actually that was a lie, but I'll keep my mouth quiet if you'd rather not say. Though I've got an ear if you want to talk." Her voice was quiet, but her eyes were curious as she studied his face.

Jadier immediately regretted having inquired about who the girl was. She felt rather uneasy as she listened to Kit go on. It was obvious the boy loved that girl, and just watching him was enough to make her feel uncomfortable. She listened to Shyara without showing any signs that she was being filled in by Kit's dragon. Do not worry I can keep a secret, though now I feel as if I had intruded and would've been better to have no said anything. She said to Shyara before she opened her mouth to speak to Kit.

"I am sorry to hear that you have parted ways in a rather horrible way, but I am sure you are in her thoughts." She spoke awkwardly, not sure how she should react to what she had heard. A few strands of her dark hair fell in front of her face, but she hardly noticed as another image flashed in her mind. Once again the ghostly smile came to her face as it seemed she had an sort of joke or silly memory playing in her mind and being conveyed to another being. "I suppose we should start on our way."

Jadier looked at Shyara before she nodded her head. It's good to tell of your troubles, but I still feel rather awkward for having asked. She turned her attention back onto Kit before she nodded her head. "I suppose I could run, but it would all be much better if we got the mission done in good time. So I guess I'll be riding," she said as she walked over to the two. Shyara was very large, just staring at the massive body was enough to cause Jadier to feel slightly faint.

"Come on, help me up," she said extending her hand up to Kit. It's not that she wouldn't be able to get up, but having Kit already on would make it a bit difficult to just climb on.

"Sorry!" He extended his hand a grabbed her's.

Shyara bent down to make things easier for Jadier. When the two were situated, she examined the small clearing. I can't do a normal take-off, she said to herself then to the other two, I can't spread my wings enough to do a normal take off, so I'm going to have to do a vertical one. It seemed to her that Jadier didn't quite know what she meant, but Kit understood.

"Grab hold of me, this isn't going to be fun for you or me!" Kit yelled as Shyara prepared.

Shyara bent her front legs low to the ground then pushed against it. She stood on just her back legs and tail. She bent her legs and pushed off the ground. She came up, perhaps one hundred feet, and then spread her wings, she then turned the direction they were supposed to be heading and started gliding on the thermals with the occasional beat of her wings. She reveled inside herself, she was the only dragon she knew of that could pull of a landing and lift of in that particular manner, she was also glad that they two-legs stayed on, it looked to her as if Jadier almost fell and dragged Kit with her, but Shyara wasn't paying to much attention when she was getting up to height, so she could've be wrong.

Neither one had really anything to say, and were hoping that Jadier would strike up a conversation to pass the time by.

Jadier was glad for Kit's help as he easily helped her up behind him. Already her stomach flopped as Shyara stood to her full heighth. The way she spoke made Jadier nervous, and even though she had enough warning, it was too much of a shock. The sudden ascend to the skies nearly caused Jadier to topple off of Shyara's back. She quickly gripped Kit and shut her eyes. As soon as they levelled off she opened her eyes, but she felt rather sick to her stomach and looked as if she had a green quality to her pale skin.

She hadn't really flown before, she'd had the chance a few times, but had never actually wanted to be off the ground. She preferred to have both feet planted firmly on hard ground, and now she knew why. She looked down as the ground seemed to fly in the opposite direction of them. She closed her eyes as she tried to come over the horrible feeling in her gut. How long exactly are we going to be flying? she asked in her mind. It would be too difficult to speak out loud. As she spoke, it was obvious she was not in easy comfort.

Jadier groaned to herself, she was not eager to be on Shyara all day, but she also knew that she didn't want to hinder their journey by unnecessary stops and breaks in their travel. Thank you both for your concern, it's not so much flying, but the height. She frowned at the last part. We don't agree. She shook her head, feeling foolish for being afraid of heights, of all things. She could have a fear of so many real dangers, and yet she was scared of being off of the ground.

I do not believe I will lose my stomach. It's pretty strong, for a stomach, but I'm more afraid that I might pass out. She laughed at her own silliness, but it grew as she realized that Kit had in fact fallen asleep. How much does he normally sleep? she asked with a chuckle.

Jadier opted to keep her eyes closed, but was holding on rather tightly. She could feel the air rushing passed her and that alone was enough to keep her stomach queasy. I doubt I could sleep, even if I had just drained all of the magic energy in me without causing my own death. She spoke but laughed as she heard that after falling off of Shyara, Kit actually trained himself to hold still while sleeping. That wasn't what really impressed her, the fact that he could still sleep after falling off of Shyara before. Jader knew that if she fell from a dragon she'd probably vow to never get onto one again.

Jadier didn't fall asleep, but she did leave Shyara alone. Her thoughts moved about in her head, a few images flashed in her mind which automatically brought smiles to her face every time. A good period of time had passed before Jadier opened her eyes. She was used to the feeling of flying now, but was still nervous to be so high. Her stomach had calmed down. She was constantly wondering why she had been sent on the mission. It was obvious Kit and Shyara could take care of themselves, so why was she needed? She knew that there was one aspect that could be the reason, but Jadier wasn't too eager to have anyone know her secret.

Jadier hadn't fallen asleep, but she might as well have been since her mind was so full of thoughts it took her a moment to process what Shyara had said in her mind. Her eyes snapped open as they began to descend. She quickly gripped onto Kit rather tightly as Shyara began her way to the ground. Her eyes were wide open with fear, she felt as if they were going to crash into the ground.

At the last possible moment Shyara pulled up and landed with a little bit of a crash. Jadier felt completely frazzled by the whole experience. Soon Kit was awake and was now on the ground. Jadier was still practically glued to Shyara, but she quickly shook her head and did a very ungraceful dismount. She got to her feet, a little shakily. "You are more then welcome to have flying all to yourself." She shuddered. Her body was starting to slow the shakes as she was just happy to be on solid ground.

Jadier didn't eat too much, a few images flashed in her mind, but she pushed them aside. She knew the concern behind them, but she was an elf, she didn't need much to live off of. She watched as Kit ate, thrilled they wouldn't be leaving for a long enough while. She looked at Shyara before she laughed. Go ahead and sleep great dragon, though I'm sure I'm not the heavy one. She joked before she allowed herself to lay against the soft grass. She turned her head to look at Kit before she allowed herself to think. "I'm not sure, though I think for part of the journey, I'd much rather stay on the ground." She frowned at the fresh memory of flying.

Jadier shook her head. "No, if anything I could run, but when we come to a suitable town, I think I'll purchase a horse. They are quick as us elves, a little more so, but they have an endurance that exceeds many, except perhaps dragon's." She laughed. Horse truly were a magnificent creature to behold. Jadier could feel that Shyara had soon drifted to a sleep, but that didn't matter, she was merely glad they didn't have to be in the air again.

Jadier hadn't realized she had dozed off until Kit had spoken aloud to wake her and Shyara up. She was startled awake, surprised. She looked around, for a moment thinking it was a life threatening situation, but she was relieved to find it was just Kit being loud. "Don't ever try to wake up an elf like that again." She scolded. If they were going to travel together, she'd need to get him to wake her up differently, or she might try to take his head off, than again, she probably could just wake up before him. Jadier sighed and pulled her things together before she walked over to Kit.

She thought for a moment before she nodded. "But I'd rather run part of the way. Though I can ride Shyara for time's sake." She sighed walked over to Kit and reached up to grasp his hand as he helped her mount Shyara. She took in a breath, not ready to be above the ground again.

Kit could sense Jadier tension and distaste for being up in the air so to just Shyara he said, Be gentle, and try not to rock so much, but fly as fast as you can while do so, she is not exactly flying materiel.

I know little one, she replied back to just him, we've talked a few times when you weren't listening. And do try and stay awake for this ride, I think it makes Jadier uneasy. Shyara flew straight and true, with little rocking and swaying; she also flew as fast as she could cutting traveling time in half. She had been worried that Jadier would get sick, but hoped that the fact that she wasn't moving side to side much would make it just about as the same as the last ride, but she really couldn't tell how the pointy-eared-two-legged was feeling.

Kit managed to keep himself awake for the trip. By nightfall they where three miles from the edge of Du Weldenvarden and they set down to eat supper and Kit was planning on waiting till in the morning to go into the forest because then it would be light enough to walk safely into the forest and identify themselves to the Elves more easily; he only hoped Jadier would agree with him. After he asked her and she thought about it, he went about gathering wood for the fire and and making a large pile. He then took a few pieces and asked Shyara to light them; he figured it was good for her to practice. He made the fire close enough to Shyara so that her massive wingspan could enclosed both Kit and Jadier but also all the supplies, fire wood, and fire itself.

Jadier? If you would come in alittle closer, i can close my wings around all of us and make it considerably warmer, Shyara said as she slipped her head under one of her wings and made them ready to enclose the area as soon as Jadier moved in.

OOC: Shyara will close her wings as soon as you move so just go on as if they are closed.

Jadier frowned to herself as they took off, but other than that she was completely silent as they ascended to the sky. She was still upset, but her stomach left her alone. It was easier to relax since she knew what to expect, but it almost seemed like the trip wasn't as hard as the one before it. It was smoother, at least she was sure it was smoother. Of course she knew she wasn't nearly as used to it as any other would be by now, but it did seem different. If Shyara was trying for her, Jadier felt immensely grateful. She was not too thrilled being in the air, especially since she couldn't see the ground very well.

Jadier was happy to be on the ground again. She had sat down as Kit told her he didn't want to approach the elves until morning. She kept quiet, she didn't want to hinder their journey, but she wanted a horse. Kit had set the supplies out and left for firewood which he came back with soon enough. Shyara had lit it and the instant light and heat made Jadier feel much better. She watched as Shyara made to enclose her wings, but Jadier wasn't in the circle. She got to her feet and brushed herself off before she entered the circle and Shyara closed her wings.

Jadier kept quiet, mulling over her thoughts. A few images popped into her mind, but she pushed them away. She wanted to be left alone at the moment. It was a while until the fire had started to die down a little. It was even long until both Kit and Shyara were asleep. She touched their minds gently to assure they were in fact in a deep sleep and they wouldn't notice her absence. With a small smile to herself she crawled out of the heated area and walked into the dark forest. The least she could do was have the horse by mornings light.

OOC: I got my other character accepted so she'll be coming into play her soon. My next post I hope.

IC: Kit woke up in the dead of when the fire went out. He restocked it and light it using brisingr. It was then that he noticed Jadier was gone, but thought nothing of it Elves didn't exactly sleep, this he had learned from his time with Shyra. He laid back down and slept till the morning.

Shyara slept though everything, but as she slept and dreamed, her subconsciense was become ever more aware of a familiar presence, but she could not remember it when she woke up.

OOC: I left them sleeping, so just wake them up when Jadier gets back

Jadier thanked the much older elf as she paid for the very well bred horse. She mounted the dark stallion, calming his nerves as she connected her mind with his. She was warned that he was very wild and often rebellious. Jadier liked this in a creature, so she easily wanted him. The dark horse had piercing eyes that made him seem much more intelligent than other horses. She didn't need to tap his sides in any way as he took off into the forest at a swift gait.

It wasn't too long until they had emerged from the forest. Shyara was still sleeping and unaware of the horse, but the horse was very alert to Shyara. He became nervous quickly and started shifting and was getting ready to bolt. Jadier dismounted him and patted his flank before she tied him to a tree far enough from Shyara that he wouldn't spook.

The sun began to rise off in the distance and Jadier decided it was time to go. Heiyn had stayed restless the whole time and very nervous, but Jadier kept speaking to his mind in the ancient language which seemed to keep him calm enough. Jadier walked over to Shyara and began to knock against her mind. She shifted her wing so she could enter the still heated space and nudged Kit's back with her foot. Come on both of you, time to go. She spoke loudly in both of their minds.

Jadier was glad to see that Kit was finally starting to stir. She watched him gather his things and help Shyara wake up. She began to laugh as he said they should go get her a horse. Shyara bent down, ready to take off when they both got onto her back. Jadier shook her head. "Nope, I'm not riding Shyara anymore." She said before she disappeared into the forest. After a brief moment she emerged on Heiyn who had a wild look in his eye, ready to bolt if Shyara approached him for any reason.

"While you two were asleep I decided to cut our time down and went to get him myself. He's the fastest, but also the hardest to control." She said, and if to prove her point Heiyn tried to bolt. Jadier easily pulled him in and had him turn in a circle until they were both dizzy enough that he stopped his attempted escape. "Come on, let's go!" she said with a short laugh, eager to have the wind brushing her without having to be in the sky.

OOC: sure, you'll go after Erais. so, she'll go next, then me because you're just out of step, then she again, then you, then me, her, you and so on. this way we don't end up with a chaotic thread. cool with you Erias? Also i won't be able to get on this weekend so you can just skip me if you want or wait, i don't care, but i hope you wait

Jadier laughed. "Of course I did. We didn't need that little side trip interferring with our mission. Besides, it did me a load of good to get him. Now let's go, we're buring daylight!" she was in a very good mood which passed into the horse which helped to make him more at ease with the situation of having the large dragon near. Jadier shifted in the light saddle before she gently spoke to the horse. Within a moments grasp Heiyn bolted down the rarely used road next to the edge of the forest. Jadier laughed out loud as she allowed herself to let go of the stress that had built up in her. The feeling of the horse moving underneath her was a feeling of freedom as it was accompanied with the feeling of the air rushing passed her.

It had probably been half an hour since they had started. Jadier was surprised at how much energy Heiyn seemed to have. She was letting him run as much as he wanted, and from what she could tell, his energy was boundless and would stretch on for a while. She had truly bought the best horse she could want. With his personality on top of his endurance, he made a fine beast.

A dark shadow flew over them, startling Heiyn. The horse began to lurch as he back up and threw Jadier from his back. Jadier cried out in surprise as she was thrown against the ground in a harsh way. She felt her shoulder crack quietly as she had hit a hard mound in the ground. It wasn't really the thought of her horse gone and a fracture in her shoulder, but that the rider dared come. Instantly her temper flared.

What do you think you are doing Rider? she shouted loudly in his head. Since he hadn't been expecting her she had easily gotten into his mind, and now she refused to move. You just lost me my transportation! Come down here this instance and apologize to my face you coward! I hope you plan to replace him, or at least track him down! Jadier was absolutely livid as she continued to rant in his mind as she stood on the ground with her hands on her hips, squinting up at him.

Jadier was absolutely livid as she glared up at the rider on the large red beast. Oh I ought to wring your neck Rider! she spoke in his mind as she watched Shyara descend a little to see if she was fine. No, I'm fine. If anything my pride is hurt, this little injury is nothing. Her voice was harsh as she spoke to Shyara, but the harshness wasn't directed towards her, but to the large dragon and his rider. I don't care which side you are on, I'm going to slice your fingers off! she threatened rather darkly as her mood was going from bad, to worse.

Jadier's pride was hurt, simply because being thrown from a horse wasn't exactly a way to dignify yourself. She also was frustrated because she had paid good money for Heiyn, who was worth that and much more, and now he had taken off. For all Jadier knew he could be half way to the Boer Mountains. The horse had spirit all on his own, but to have him frightened would probably multiply his speed and energy by ten.

That was it, that was the last straw! The fact that he was the one who caused the fire to speed towards her could hardly be called him saving her! You insolent jerk! she screamed in his head as she didn't want anyone else to hear her rage, though it was evident in her face. Her nostrils flared as she strode over to him at a quick pace. "How dare you!" she hissed. "You scare my horse, who throws me from his back to damage my shoulder, and THEN!" she said feeling as if she could kill him. "Now you go and cast a spell towards me and after stopping it you say you SAVE MY LIFE?!" she growled in rage before she smacked him in the face, her temper getting the best of her.

"I'll have you know you insolent pig, that you should not be trying my temper! You have no right to swoop in without alerting us!" she felt like she'd burst with all the emotions rising in her. She hardly noticed the others, let alone Heiyn.

Even though the two large dragons were frightening Heiyn a great deal, he was still connected to Jadier and felt the anger and rage building up in her. Despite all of his instincts he managed to pull from Shyra's grasp, which was quite strong, and walked over to Jadier. Somehow Jadier had gotten through to the horse and now he was repaying as he nudged her back. Instantly the emotions drained from her and she was starting to come down from her high rage as she was feeling more passive. Jadier glared very harshly at the rider before she turned to face her horse and spoke to him softly in the ancient language.

Jadier was still upset, and her anger flared back up as the foolish rider healed her shoulder. "Excuse me?" she demanded. "I believe I did not give you permission to heal my shoulder you arrogant fool!" she demanded. "Where in the world did you get the idea that you can just boss me around and tell me what to do?" she shrieked at him, her whole body shuddering as she was getting angry all over again. Jadier glared back at Shyra. "You can't just join this arguement!" she glared at her before she turned back to the rider. "You need a lesson in manners you ridiculous child!"

Finally after a moment she turned to look at Shyra. "No, but I know who you are, and if you don't mind, please just stay quiet until this foolish kid gets a lesson!" she growled out as Heiyn was standing near, though with Jadier's high wired emotions, it was causing him to feel jumpier than ever.

OOC: All we have to do is look up and watch you land behind the trees, not very secretive.

IC: Kit watch the other dragon and his rider fly up and land behind the trees alittle way off. Kit rolled his eyes, We know right where he's at, if he's trying to be sneaky, he's not good at it, Kit thought to himself then he turned around and for the first time comprehended that Shyra was there. "What are you doing here?" Despite what had just happened he was over joyed at her presence and let that flow out with his voice.

"Saving your butt apparently. Shyara told me to come and I grabbed the horse when he went flying by. So what are you guys doing out here anyway, and who was that?"

"Oh just someone who thinks he such a hot shot. He's ever in the trees, probably watching us right now. As to what we are doing out here, I better answer that mentally that way if dinguss is listening in he doesn't here. We are supposed to find a secret entrance into Uru'Baen that is supposed to be at the bottom of Laona Lake.

Sounds interesting, mind if I tag along?

I insist.

Well Shyara says yes, I'm not exactly sure, what do you think Jadier?

Jadier glared as the very rude rider took off, though the large dragon didn't travel too far before he disappeared from sight. Jadier wanted to slap him silly, but knew that that wasn't a wise decision since he was a rider. She rolled her eyes to herself before she turned to the others. She watched as they interacted. She wasn't fond of drama, and knew that if Shyra came with them, there would be a lot of that going on. She looked at Shyara and Kit before she grabbed hold of Heiyn's reins.

She walked over to them. She wasn't particularly fond of the idea, but she finally nodded. Another pair of eyes and hands won't hurt us too much. We should be going though if we want to stick to our plan. She spoke in their minds as she made ready to mount Heiyn.

Kit groaned inside himself, Great, now we are going to have to talk. He didn't show any of his anguish outward, but put on a smile and offered to assist Shyra onto the Shyara's back. I think we should be going, we've already lost a good half hour of time. Jadier, so you'll be fine riding on him again, right, as long a dragon doesn't scare him again? Kit cracked again.

After that was settled and they had lifted off Shyra started off with her first question. So Kit, who's your friend?

Didn't she say that her name was Jadier?

Yes, but that's not what I meant. What I meant was where did you meet her, are just friends or are you more, or what?

Oh these questions. Well, Arya asked me and Shyara to go on a mission against Galbatorix, and she told us we were to meet up with a elf girl for the journey. We are just friends nothing more, and that's it ask Shyara if you want.

She did just that and Kit information was confirmed.

After a long pause between the two Shyara injected, So are you two going to talk about what happened in the Hadarac? This sparked a very heated argument between the two and after hours of debating and injections in by Shyara, usually against Kit, they concluded that it was Kit's fault for leaving. By this time it was time to stop for the night and Kit and Shyra weren't in talking moods. Jadier, we are going to stop about a mile up ahead, we'll fly up there and set up camp. As Shyara flew off, she remembered on more thing she needed to tell Jadier, They are not happy right now, they discussed what happened in the desert, so be warned, they might snap your head off if you say something they don't like, even if it is right.

OOC: I figured it best to not go into detail about their exact words in the argument.

Jadier gently kicked Heiyn in the sides and he took off at a quick pace. His energy was high up from being spooked so he had plenty to spare for the journey ahead of them. Jadier didn't know what exactly was going on, but the tension she sensed from Shyara caused her to know that Kit and Shyra were probably fighting with each other. Jadier sighed to herself, they really didn't need any drama at the moment, but she decided to just block the others for a while.

Finally the day had passed and it seemed like it was time to make camp. She smiled as she saw the deep colors of the sun as it began to set. She urged Heiyn on. Let them try to bite my head off. She laughed to herself as they flew ahead.

OOC: Red, it is your turn, but if you don't reply soon, I'm just going to skip you

Jadier was rather bored now as they were making their way to the camp. Heiyn's mind was fascinating, but it was a bad idea to spend so much time in the beast's mind. She hoped that she'd get to camp soon enough and have at least Shyara to talk to. It is not my problem. She was still annoyed with the rider from earlier and was a little ornery at the moment. But since you are the one who asked I suppose that I can help. After all it'll only make me very irritable to travel with if they continue to act like silly children. She could sense someone behind her, though they were on foot. He's following, she growled in her mind as she knew that it would only cause her to lose her temper if he made himself known. She had more than half of a mind to wheel around and take him head on, teach him a lesson, but she withheld for the moment.

Shyara watched Kit and Shyra. They hadn't said anything to each other or anyone else. Whenever one needed something by the other, instead of asking for it, the other would go get, making sure that they interrupted what the other was doing. Shyara ignored them till they finally fell asleep, then she called Jadier over. Kit has some rope in his pack. Tie them back to back. Then put some sort of spell or something that will keep the rope from breaking till both of us say that they can take it off.

OOC: Rather short

Jadier listened to Shyara as she was within five minutes of camp. She snorted to herself. Oh yeah, a lot of good that'll do. She couldn't help but laugh though. You really want to get them back together don't you? this time her voice wasn't as judgemental. I suppose I can do that, but they'll probably be tied together for the rest of their lives if they are this stubborn all the time. She dismounted Heiyn and tied him to a tree. She didn't want him to feel nervous around Shyara.

Jadier moved to Kit's pack and found the rope just as Shyara had said. She easily pulled the two "love birds" together and bound them before she muttered something under her breath. After she stared at them for a moment to admire her work she looked to Shyara. I have an idea, they'll be irritable, but it might make them come around. She spoke.

Jadier looked at Shyara. Nothing too dangerous. She commented before she closed her mind off to Shyara for the moment. "Kit, Shyra, wake up!" she said kicking them both, but not too hard. She needed to talk to them and make them see sense or the mission would never get done.

Jadier merely stood there with her arms folded as the two were obviously bugged by being tied together. "You two really need knock it off!" she said frustrated with them. She looked at Shyara before she looked back at the others. "You won't persuade us to untie you two. It's really annoying and I didn't have to put up with you on my back for the journey." She walked up to them.

"Listen, alright? Whatever really happened between you two that is making you so ornery is now getting Shyara and me really bothered." She took in a deep breath. "Look Shyra, Kit really loves you, a lot more than he'll admit." She glared between the two. "Shyra I'm positive that you love him, or you wouldn't have wanted to come along with us. So you two knock it off and get along!" her voice had risen near the end.

Jadier watched them. "Oh no, perhaps I'll loosen the rope, but you'll still be tied together until I'm convinced." She said before Shyara knocked them over. If they are going to travel together, they'll be tied together for a few days so they won't revert back to not talking to each other. Are you okay with this? she asked Shyara as she sat against a tree trunk and pulled her cloak tight against her body. She didn't close her eyes for the night, her mind reeling as she knew the rider was around here somewhere. Yet she was more nervous for an unknown reason.

Erias, when you get back on, it is your turn.

OOC: Hey, this weekend I probably won't get a chance to get on, but Monday I will for sure. You'll just have to skip me, or wait, what ever works best, I will not be offended but sorry guys anyway. oh yeah, and I'm joined up with 17+ RPs so if these sound the same, they are

"Cut the ropes!" Kit screamed to Shyara as the shade made another swipe at them with his blade. Being tied to Shyra would cost both of them their lives! Where's Jadier! Can't she hear us?! Shyara had told them that the Elf had gone to confront the Rider who had been following them, especially after the night they had had. It was shortly after she left that the Shade appeared.

"Duck!" Shyra dragged Kit down with her and then made an awkward retreat to Shyara.

Shyara had tried to distract the Shade with her fire and claws, but he was intent on killing her Rider first. With a quick slash Shyara split the ropes that held Kit and Shyra together.

Kit ran to his saddle pouch to get his sword that had been taken from him.

Shyra's swords had just been attached to the outside of her pack since the saddle didn't have a pouch for her. She rushed in with her twin blades and brought them down hard to try and break through the shades defenses, but he was stronger than she thought. He seemed to crumble at first, but then pushed back with tremendous strength. He threw Shyra several feet onto her back and sent her swords sailing out of her hands. She Shade moved quickly over Shyra, his red hair moving like blood in water as the wind coursed through it.

Kit pulled his sword out and made a mad dash for Shyra. As the Shade's sword started coming down, Kit's cut clean through his neck. There was a piercing scream and the Shade began to dissipate.

"No matter," it said, "I have more pressing matters to attend to in Farthen Dûr. Oh, and one last thing, that entrance you are looking for... It has been completely destroyed." Then his entire body was gone.

Kit helped Shyra up. "Are you okay?"

"Yeah, thanks for saving me."

"Why wouldn't I? We were in love once, so even if you don't love me any more, I'm not going to let you die."

Shyra didn't need time to process what he was saying. She threw her arms around him and pulled him close. "I never stopped," she whispered into his ear.

Kit picked her up and swirled her around, kissing her for the first time in months. "I didn't either. I'm glad we're back."

Shyara was excited, despite what had happened seconds before. The two most important people in her life were back together again.

Jadier! What happened?! The Elf was in a flat run toward them.

"I heard fighting and a scream so I turned back here. I never did find that Rider again. What happened?"

Shyara quickly recounted everything back to her.

She smiled at the evidence of the ending.

Kit approached her. "Well Jadier, I want to thank you very much for helping us, but I guess with that entrance there is no reason to continue. You have your own life and mine is just starting again.

Jadier nodded in agreement. "Hopefully we'll meet again."

"Count on it." Kit went to begin packing, while Shyara and Shyra said goodbye.

That goes for me too. It was fun, terrifying, but fun! If you ever want to go looking for another adventure, come look us up. If not, we'll find you, Shyara added as much sincerity into that last part as she could.

Shyra said goodbye in the usual Elf fashion, but ended it with a hug. "Thank you. Without you, we probably would be in contempt with each other; for that I am eternally grateful." Shyra jumped up on Shyara.

Goodbye and again thank you very much. We're heading to Du Weldenvarden, if you want to tag along.

"I better not."

I understand. Without another word Shyara turned and moved to the forest.
