Yes, this is my 4th char... but I like making them and I don’t like playing Audraie or Drania anymore cuz im writing a book about them and I want a female charry to play. so this is Laurina...

Name: - Laurina (lou-ree-nah) Barute (Ba-root)

Age:- 17, but very mature

Gender: - Female

Skills: - Excellent with the bow, she is a very good hunter. She is not very good at swordsmanship, but likes hand-to-hand combat at which she excels. She has been "training" in it since she was a small child and she would wrestle with her brother. Then when she was older, being one of the only humans in an Elvish town, she got picked on a lot which made her a tough person and she would fight back, and that made her a tough fighter as well.

Race: - Human

Hair: - Golden, Thick & curly. About shoulder length and usually messy or pulled back with a piece of leather.

Eyes: - Ocean Blue

Home Village: - Kirtan

Parents: - Sellion & Patricia Barute

Siblings: - An older brother, Eruantien. And a younger sister, Alassë

Character Personality: - She always tries to stay on the right side of the law, not because its right, but to stay out of trouble. But sometimes circumstances force her to do otherwise. She would die to keep her pride, honor and dignity. She is very hard to please. She has to be careful and watch what she says because many times her mouth will get the best of her and she says things she regrets. She is usually very stern and doesn’t laugh or joke very often. It is very very hard to gain her trust because she has been betrayed many times by friends, family, and even strangers. All of this has made it to where she has a "thick skin" and seems very tough, but she also has a soft side that you see from time-to-time. If you meet her on a dark road in the night, watch it. She's more likely to shoot first, ask questions later than try to make friends. She has an eager mind and is always open to learning new things.

Character History: - Laurina’s family was one of the few human families in Kirtan, and as such she grew up with not many friends. She had one good friend, Krevlen. They were best friend from the time they were in diapers until one day when Laurina was 12, Krevlen’s house caught fire. He and his whole family were trapped inside. Devastated and blinded by her loss, Laurina turned to her family for support but they had all but forgotten about her.
Her father was enamored with Eruantien, Eruantien was a great warrior, had been since a young age. He was intelligent, strong, and popular with even the elves. Every parent’s dream come true.
Then there was her mother... and sister. Laurina’s mother was just as proud of Alassë as her father was of Eruantien. And who wouldn’t be? Alassë was beautiful, the envy of many, while Laurina was just a plain tomboy. Hurt even more by her family’s attitude toward her, Laurina began to spend more and more time alone in the woods outside Kirtan. She trained herself like a warrior in bow and swordsmanship.

When she was 14 she entered a fighting contest in which her brother was entered as well. She fought well, as did he. When it was the final match just she and Eruantien were left. Her father took her aside and told her to go easy on him. They both knew he was really telling her to let her brother win, But she ignored him. She beat her brother fair and square, but her family was angered with her. They said she had insulted their family and humiliated her brother.
It was the final straw. Laurina ran away from home the next morning. She never knew if her parents searched for her or not as she ran for 4 days without stop before she finally collapsed from exhaustion.
She woke at the edge of the forest, right before the Hadarac desert.
She has been wandering the world since then. She has developed a keen sense when something is amiss but still gets into trouble from time to time.

Weapons:- A broadsword that she stole from an unsuspecting caravan & a bow she made herself

Likes: - Little things like rain falling on her face, birds waking her up in the morning, the sound of water splashing in a brook, ect. She also enjoys hand-to-hand combat

Dislikes: - Because of her past she has a slight discrimination against elves. She hates being near large cities and in huge crowds of people.

Animal Companions: - none

Character's Physical Description: Tall and thin, very muscular from her fighting, especially in the arms. She has mysterious eyes surrounded by thick lashes, but you don’t get to see them often as she is always hanging her head low, mostly for the purpose of keeping a mysterious atmosphere around her. She is the type you consider beautiful, but an exotic, secret beautiful. Some don't see her as beautiful though, because she often times neglectes her personally appearance and often goes about dressed as a man for safety reasons.

Dreams for the Future: - To find a purpose for her life.

I think that your character is good, and the only thing I am going to say is that your personality needs to be a bit longer. Shade, Othsta(sp)?
