Hey Sparty. How you been?

My 4th of July was certaintly eventful. The wind knocked over one of our fireworks after we lit it, and it fired and hit a random man. He and his group got angry and started cussing us out, and eventually there was a fight. That man who got hit had pushed and stuck three old women from our group, so that kind of pissed me off. But the cops were called eventually, and everything got sorted out without violence from there. The terrible part is that we only got to shoot half of our fireworks, and we spent $1100 on them. :/

We had a big fireworks show at our church and me and my family are going to shoot some off tomorrow night. Hopefully we won't have any incidents like yours Fallen Elf haha.

I'm not very sure where everyone must be then.

The last few days we have been lighting small bottle rockets and throwing them at each other. Hurts like hell if you're unlucky enough to get hit, but it's fun lol.

yes, it has been quite quiet over the past couple of days.

Finally got the android honeycomb 3.1update on my tablet. Will have to see how it goes, but it seems to run better since.

Ugh, resistance to burns doesn't grow any over years. I burned myself trying to put a bottle rocket into a tube to that I could shoot it wherever I pointed the tube, lol. 'Course, it was my fault, so whatevs. xD

I just got bitten by a blister beetle today. . . Hurts. Like. Heck.

They get their name for a toxin that causes excruciating pain, swelling, and ultimately, blisters. It came from under the couch and bit my big toe, and feels like I full on stomped on a sharp, red hot nail, then had a few drops of lemon juice put on top of it. I would have gladly taken the honor of crushing the crap outta that accursed thing myself but my foot felt like it already was on fire. . .

Luckilly my parent's essential oil treatments took the edge off. Now instead of a red hot nail puncturing my foot, it just feels like an ordinary nail puncturing my foot.

Also, there is an awesome thunderstorm going on outside. Got some more broken branches to pick up tomorrow. . .

Ouch, that sounds painful. I've never heard of a blister beetle before, so luckily I've never had the misfortune to meet one. I have been bitten by a cow ant before though. Almost my entire leg was swelling pretty badly too.

There's a thunderstorm here as well. It's a wonder I still got internet with all of this lightning.

I've always thought that yellow jackets hurt worse than bumblebees. I've never been stung before; it's just what I've heard. Most of my injuries usually have something to do with falling on concrete. I fall on my knee about 80% of the time I fall on concrete.

Hmmm...I don't know what could be wrong there. Usually when my eyes hurt, there's just something in them.

Actually, blister beetles are quite common. If you've ever seen an oblong shaped beetle, (long and narrow) of any color ranging from black to red, yellow, green or white, and about a half inch to an inch long, then you've seen one. I read that they live all around the country. You just have to be careful not to step on one, or if you crush it, not get it's blood on your skin.

I've always had a paralyzing fear of yellow jackets. . . And I mean a seriously debilitating fear. Whenever I see a yellow jacket indoors, I bolt into the nearest closed off room, and lock the door until my dad or crazy brother goes after it and kills it. Yes, they hurt like crap. After being stung by a swarm did I find out that myself. (and probably where i got my fear from)

I've never gotten stung by a bee or bumblebee for that matter. Those I strangely am NOT afraid of at all. Probably because I know that they know that one sting and their dead. They only sting if I truly am out to kill them, so if I leave them alone, they leave me alone. (Plus they make honey. . . I love honey. ) However, a yellow jacket just goes up to you and stings you for no freaking reason, just because they can. Then they just laugh and fly away to sting some other poor sap.

@E+A Maybe you hit it when you were sleeping last night? That sometimes happens to me, and for a while after my eye hurts.

Could it be an allergic reaction? Sometimes the same things happens to me when I come near cats. Which I am severely allergic to.

Also, remind me to never accept an invitation to your house. . . Else you want me with a full bee suit, a gas mask, and five cans of RAID.

I am not here at the moment, too busy thinking of jokes and pranks for tomorrow.
It's how I get back at my employees for making me do actual work.

Tomorrow I'm going on a 3 day campout in the mountains. Two hour drive to the parking lot, then I got to backpack a mile to get to our camp site. As well, there's a chance of bears in the area. I hope a bear doesn't smell some of the salmon jerky that I'm bringing along. . .

. . . Else I'll have to kill it.

Yeah, you go on a good amount of camping trips, I've noticed. I've never seen a bear outside of a zoo or tv before, but I have seen an alligator and panther one time.

I am a scout, so that should explain a lot. And although I have not actually seen them as they were outside my tent or hidden in the grass, I've got close encounters with a rattlesnake, a mountain lion, and a pack of coyotes. A bear would just complete it.

I actually had a dream of being in survival mode and killing a bear with nothing but a handmade spear. I then ate it and used it's fur as a coat until I was rescued.

Also, Fallen Elf, I have seen a white alligator, if that surprises you.

2 more hours and I will see the last HP movie ;D ;D

I will definitely be seeing it sometime within this month. I highly doubt I will be able to see it the day it comes out, but I'll find time to see it sometime. It looks real good.

I have only cried once for a movie. I was like 12 years and it was the first time I saw Titanic <__<

I have never cried either from what I remember besides the first time I saw Titanic. I have always been good at understanding that it just is a movie.

But I guess that Titanic affected me because I was so young and understood that it actually had happened <__<

Summer, needs to go away. It's too hot but it's been raining a bit so hopefully it'll cool off soon.

In other news; it's two days until payday and literally the only edible food we have in the house is a single can of chili and some tap water. Cheers. Might go to town later and attempt to get some tea or something.

Also, at Granny-Sue's house, I managed to hand-sew a whole flower. Cheers.

Hey everyone, I'm back!

The trip was bitter-sweet. It was an awesome fishing trip in the mountains, perfect weather, and good bonding time with my friends. However, the biggest problem was the mosquitoes. Ugh. I was bitten so many times a vampire would be jealous. (Haven't counted every bite but estimates are at 100+)

The strange thing was that everyone was being bitten. The bug spray did nothing. They were like super mosquitoes. . . They would not leave me alone. At least I saved myself from loosing ALL my blood by swinging my hat around and sealing myself in my tent for most of the day.

Also, there was a connection I made with mosquitoes and blood type. I had the rarest blood type in the group so I got the majority of the bites. I guess more exotic blood types taste better to mosquitoes than others. . . Like imagine an O+ as a Mcdonalds cheeseburger, and my A+ blood type to be the IN N' OUT burger of their world. Not as common and extremely good.

Also upon my return I got really relaxed, slept for a long time, and then got two fillings after getting a nasty toothache today.

Tomorrow I'll be gone again for most of the week. This time a family vacation to Park City. Alpine Coaster here I come!

Well the bug spray didn't work period. Everyone at the campsite was being bitten, not just me. I just had most of the bites. I even tried using all the different sprays that everyone had brought at the same time yet even still the bugs were relentless. . .

No. . . They stopped being super annoying yesterday. . . Now they're just plain annoying. Both my hands, my neck, and my back are still swollen and itchy, but not burning as before.

But mostly my attention is in my mouth now. . . Glad to get that aching tooth gone, yet my jaw still hurts from seven shots of novacane in my mouth. . .

Well, I tried a more natural approach with my repellant. The essential oil of lemongrass works well as a repellent. Except the mosquitoes up where I went of course. However I know it works because it kept the other bugs (spiders, ticks, knats, flies, etc.) away. Plus it smelled pretty decent.

And IN N' OUT is a burger restaurant found only on the western portion of the US. Used to be only in California, but now it's as far east as my state. Famous for their all natural, great tasting burgers and fries in their delicious sauce, ( )and for their extremely fast serving rate. (Can serve a line of 20 cars in about 10 minutes)

Well, outdoor pools also keep you from freezing to death once you get out XP

Yup, entirely sneaky. Soooo glad it actually worked as well; it would so bite if they'd said it didn't work. XD

Oh gosh, completely agree about the dentists; there's something scary about them. Especially after this one episode of Supernatural that I watched...*Shudders* And the Novacane, that's just totally freaky....and the chair....Eek! Dentists=Run Awaaaaaay! XP Mercifully mum says that as long as I floss and brush everyday, then unless there's an obvious prollum I don't have to go to one anymore. They're just creepy! O.o The family doctor isn't terrible, but SKIN DOCTORS are like the scariest ever...

Ah crap. This is not good. I knew that I was bound to get SOME disease from all those mosquito bites. . . I just happen to get the worst one. . .

I may have West Nile Virus. It is not fun. Not at all. . . I'm having many of the symptoms of the serious type of the disease, which involve neurological disorders such as loss of coordination, dizziness, stupor, serious headache, and muscle weakness and tremors. . . I can barely type right now. . .

Probably going to the hospital today. . . On the day that my family is supposed to be going on vacation.

I came back Friday, and it takes about 2-3 days minimum for the disease to begin to show symptoms. However, I was bitten over a hundred times, starting on the very first day I got there, so the disease may have had longer to grow, and I have a compromised immune system, so risk of infection is much higher.

Pretty much, the neurological part of the disease, unusually began first. But now I'm starting to gain a high fever with fatigue. (Usually the fever is the first thing to show up) Though the diagnosis is still yet to be determined. The only things that would prove it would be either a blood test or if I passed out into a coma. Hopefully only the former will happen.

Also I just hope that this will run it's coarse. West Nile, to my relief, is not lethal in most cases. Just really, really nasty. If I keep rested during the vacation, and take vitamins and medicine to relieve the symptoms, then in a few days to a couple weeks I should be fine. However it can also lead to more serious diseases like meningitis and encephalitis.

Also, I'm leaving for the doctor in a half an hour, and I'm going on vacation (If I'm not hospitalized) this afternoon. . . So until then, I'll be seeing ya. (I may get on the laptop while at the vacation if the hotel has wi-fi.)

Well, good and bad news. The good news is that the doctor won't confirm or deny that it is West Nile for sure. The symptoms match alright, but other sicknesses also could be the culprit, such as my Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. They decided not to go into the trouble of blood testing and just letting time tell.

In any case, even if it is West Nile, I should be better in a few days. If the symptoms persist for longer than my vacation, then the doctor said for me to go in and continue with the blood testing, because then it could be something much worse like meningitis.

I find it funny how harmless West Nile is compared to how bad the media portrays it to be. Only 20% of all people infected with WNV have symptoms, and 1 out of 110 get the serious cases of West Nile.

Also, you're right. Orange juice is high in Vitamin C, which boosts the immune system. Also, my fever went down after another essential oil treatment from my parents. I'm telling you, they do wonders.

Exactly; they make things too sort of clinical and sticky, not to mention that they try to sound funny when clearly they aren't. Bleck. I just did the first chapter of one (Although it was late so the sporkers were a bit subdued) where the character is such a sue that it's in the summary that she's one. Mostly it's terribly boring, her talking about how she knows every style of fighting ever and then she yells at Boromir about how she's better than him, stares at Aragorn in The Bad Way, and then goes on to wail about how unfair her life is and how the fact that her life is so horrible makes her absolutely fantastic and completely worthy to be in The Fellowship. By chapter two she's singing.

Bwahaha, that was soooo funny when Neal 'guessed' her pin number XP Ands she is completely evile! Why does she snoop around his home like that? Geez....she's completely going to betray him at some point! Hmm...maybe she's the reason that in one of the ad's it looked like Neal gots a stabby?

Hrms....shock pen might do the trick then?
