Nidhog had finally made it to the supposed empire, but he had never fought aganst the magic that the coward Galbatorix used. He had come to the evil king and had challangd him and his weakling dragon Skru'ikan to a fight for control of th Empire. The start of the fight was just as he had expected, and e had dominated it, but when it looked like he would win, the king would heal himelf oor the dragon before he could kill them, he continued tofight, untill the king use magic upon him. Nodhog would take almost any physical or mental attack, but magic wasn't th esame. He couldn't allow that to bunce off his iron har dscales, nor could he respnd to it, it was his only known weaknes. The evil king had at the last minute said something and all of a sudden the muscles in his wings stopped working, in a panic Nidhog got away, but his pride was severely scarred, as was his hide. He had decieded to come back, but this time wiht some help. That is why he had called this meeting.

He had used his power with earth to create a huge, almost mountain in the middle of a valley, from there he had sent out a message, that no true evil being coule resist, he had sent a message promising power, and evil in the land. He was waiting in the center chamber of the mountain, he had setmany traps that would take care of any too weak to help him.

There was a soft hiss and then a bang and Ryuk appeared with a clap of silver light. He had felt the call a decided this bounty would be one that he would not miss, Ryuk surveyed the room with his keen silver pupil-less eyes and saw the giant dragon accompanied by a mixed collection of the self serving but he saw this dragon held leadership. "my name is Ryuk and pray tell what is yours powerful one" His rich voice charming and yet still retched oozed out of him like oil as he made it clear he only respected the giant dragon.

IC: Arkel heard the call from his good aquaintance, who had seemingly made it to Alegaesia. He landed at the entrance of the Valley Mountain and tried to get inside but he alone was just bigger than half the mountain. Arkel thought for a second and made a quick decision. He melted into his human and walked inside.

I wonder how Nidhog will react, I never showed him my human form, Arkel thought as he walked down the tunnel. When he entered he called a greeting to him, "Nidhog, I heard you summons and responded, what diabolical act of evil shall commit this time." Arkel could tell that Nidhog didn't recognize him and said, "I am Arkel, in human form. As you will recall at our last meeting, I said you didn't know everything." Arkel smirked. He glanced at the others but recognized none of them.

Nidhog looked at the two shades who had arrived, and the human, he said, Welcome to our little group, and I am glad you made it Arkel. He turned and said, Come sit and talk with me. When the yhad done so, he shifted his great bulk toward the entrance, so none of them could escape should they suddne;y have a change of heart and said, I have brought you all here so you may help me overthrow Galbatorix and kill any and all other resistance, dragons, humans, dwarves, and elves. By your many scars, I can tell that you have had some run-ins with them. I do-not with to stay in this land, and have only come to send this land into the darkness that myself and Arkel have done ot the land above that of the golden draogn Ramoth. What say you to this idea of mine?

OOC: sorry about this, Voenth, but I'm joining too.

IC: Daniel heard about the call for power, and was immediately seduced. He may have had strong loyalty to the king, but to be more powerful than even his own master...that was something Daniel could work with. He flew out to the mountain-off the record, the King couldn't know of this-and tried to walk in the front door. Be careful, there may be- Jynk tried to warn him. She was a split second to late, as a thousand arrows shot from concealed points in the walls. Daniel barely got his shields up in time to deflect the arrows, but it took a major drain from his energy. He stumbled for a few steps before Jynk sent him enough energy to stablize himself. He thanked her and they walked into the room with the giant dragon. He froze instantly. It was the same dragon that had tried to eat both Jynk and himself once. He hoped the dragon didn't recognize them. "H-hi. I'm Daniel. Th-his is Juh-Jynk. Wuh-we're h-here to j-join what we uh-understand to be a war." he stammered. He looked around and realized that he'd seen a few around the castle, but had never met any of them.

OOC: Correction, Faefnir is the second largest. Lol

Arkel looked over at Leth. "Faefnir is the largest dragon in Alegaesia, but is not the largest being. I am more than double his size." Arkel doubted they would believe him, he was after all in human form. "And I'm twenty times his age. Now, let us put aside our childish squabbling and let's get this meeting going."

Arkel barely gave notice to the new dragon. He was ancient but Arkel was more so, and Arkel knew that he probably would have the upper hand in a battle with any of these beings here. Not only can he change from dragon to human, but he has access to magic more powerful then any here; and if worse came to worse, he could always unleash the black fury inside him known as Azkyni.

OOC:*Trying not to spam..* I did read arkels profile, he is 200 feet tall correct? Then I should say you are not the largest being. Perhaps the oldest, I think Aeraldi is half your age, but still not the largest. Im not trying to put you down or anything, just thought you should be aware.

Aeron heard the call. He had been looking for the boy's Danagon and the girl Saheit's house. Je jumped into a nearby ally and flicked his wrist, putting silver flames all around him. He closed his eyes, breathed, and opened. He found himself in a mountain. He saw almost noone he recognized besides Daniel. "Hello Daniel." He said, standing over by him. "I am furious with Galbratorix, he has me chasing the five like they are threats!" He then looked at everyone else. "We have to attack from inside the Empire, the heart. Ura'baen. We can ponder the streets, well all but the dragons, without being noticed. We can start the battle there." Aeron slid back to begin listening to the others. "But we have a problem. Varden are in town."

Daniel crossed his arms nonchalantly, and leaned against one of Jynk's front flanks. Hmmph. We could work together to fight the Varden. We could destroy Surda, with this force, but everyone keeps talking about Master Galbatorix like he's the problem. He always has been one for power, but he's always been kind to us.Ah, you are wrong. Jynk interjected. She arched her neck around to show him the milky-white scar she had there. Remember, two years ago, when he got mad that we weren't working fast enough. He singed me with a flick of his wrist, and the scar has never healed. And- She nuzzled his own arm, which had a milky-white scar running up the back from his wrist to his elbow. -when he got mad two weeks after the first incident and cut you with his blade for your so-called lack of productivity in finding a Varden spy. Daniel harrumphed and pushed the thoughts aside. It was true then. Galbatorix was the target. A grin formed on his face, giving him a handsome, yet pallid demeanor. So we're going to test our strength against our masters. How fun. Jynk purred her acceptance, and Daniel turned away from his thoughts. The group seemed to be arguing over who was greater. He stepped forward, holding his arms out. "Guys, guys. Listen. You old, wrinkled dragons have sharpened your tongues more than anything in your long lives! None of you has accomplished a single thing but the sharpening of your own tongue and the honing of your own ego! To defeat Galbatorix, we must work together. That means no bickering over who's more ancient, more powerful, or more skilled. We have to be clever, and work together if we're going to do anything."

OOC: Does this mean good guys can join soon?

OOC: Yes. But I don't want about 25 more people joining right now, only like 7 at most, because any more & the rp wouldn't ever get anywhere.

OOC: I know, and I'm really sorry, but you simply can't expect there to be a huge battle against evil directly involving the Royal Family and not have Phal be there! You should know by now that she tries to get involved in everything, and this is way to major to pass up.

@Aeraldi-Nilarek dosn't want any of Nidhog, you must remember Nidhog's powers, and yes he has a HUGE weakness, but neither I nor Fanghur will tell!

OOC: Aye, but Nilarek doesn't know the depths of Nidhog's power yet and he considers himself to be the more powerful. So until Nilarek sees those powers he will be as arrogant as I can make him.

OOC: I would expect nothing less.

OOC: I just want to clear some stuff up. SO we are all going to Ura'baen to fight Galbratorix, but meet good guys there and a epic battle breaks =D Or are we trying to kill Star Gazer!

OOC: We are klling that will stand still long enough, the main goal is Galby, but we can't kill him so anything else, lol!

OCC: Just a word of advice, try not to set limits for a person when they have to post by. What if they couldnt show up until a day after of what you said and wanted to post but had to wait again? Just be patient they will post eventually, or at least let them give permission to be skipped if they dont have time to make a post. However if the person becomes inactive for more than a week, then some one else may as well go.
Then again, whoever started the topic can kinda set the guidelines if they want a cycle post or whoever can post when they can. However it would seem rude to change the rules without warning.
Sorry for the long rant, just trying to help things.

OOC: You may be right, but in the last pot he made, it sounded like he wan't coming back to the rp that is why I said 2 days, it gives him time if he wants to and dosn't hold up the RP too long, also there is I think too much "OOC:" posting, and I know I am not helping, but please keep it to a minimum, it is very confusing as to the order.

IC:Daniel looked at the huge dragon with contempt. He'd seen the dragon kill the men, and thought it a petty and cowardly tactic. Where was the honor, the rush, the pure adrenaline in merely stealing one's soul? At least give him a chance to defend said essence. Jynk hummed her agreement as she beat her wings furiously to keep up with the larger dragons. Daniel was swathed in many layers of clothing and had uttered a spell to ensure that he could breathe in the oxygen-deprived air by creating a void ten feet across that brought all the oxygen in range toward his lungs. It was effective and kept him from suffocating in the thin air this high above the rolling sand dunes. Daniel could feel Jynk straining to keep up with the larger dragons, and moulded his mind with hers to lend what energy he could. He also delved deep into one of his saddlebags and pulled out a small, hexagonal shape roughly the size of a grapefruit. The orb seemed a complete void of color, a pure obsidian sphere that radiated power. Daniel pressed his consciousness against that of the sphere, and the sphere's conscious thoughts withered at his touch. He melded the sphere's mind with Jynk's and felt the energy drain into her body. With a surge of pure adrenaline, she shot past one of the other dragons and caught up with the big one called Nidhog. Daniel pocketed the sphere, lest the others discover it and steal it.

Nilarek couldn't help but admire the way Nidhog stole the souls of those men. He made a note to learn how to do that next time as it could come in handy. It was a struggle not to use the dragon's Shadow to gain his memories but that would most likely turn the dragon against him and he didn't want that. At least, not yet.

IC: Arkel rolled his eyes at Nidhog's comment and thought to himself, He is just one very disturbed dragon. I'd think just letting them lay there and rot or taking their Heart Of Hearts would be more destructive to their name. Eating them will just make people hate you more, fear you less, and hold the person in greater esteem then when they were alive.

Ooc: go ahead with your post draco, then I will go.

OOC: Wait! One last question! I seem to have forgotten what some of you posted; is this the fortress in the desert (Faefnir's) or the Dragon Mountain (Royal Family's)?

OOC: Ah. Thank you. I shall make my post, then.

IC: Phal felt a prickling along her spine, and woke up with an uneasy feeling. She could not feel a tug in any direction, however, which must mean that the action had come to her this time. She stood up with a quick stretch and walked down the halls of the desert fortress. Phal, as usual, had been traveling. She had been making a stop to sleep and get nourishment at Faefnir's stronghold, as she often did. Phal had spent the first two weeks of her life, here.

She walked far enough towards the surface to be able to see clearly outside, and noticed some distant shapes flying towards her. Oh, great. Who could they be? Wanting to pick a fight with Faefnir, no doubt, she thought with annoyance. Evil dragons liked to challenge her brother, and it was just her luck that she was here, and he wasn't, on a day they decided to do so.

Phal clambered up to a high room with a secret exit out into the desert. It was very small, small enough so that only she could just slip through, and it required some magic to do so. She had set up the new exit, herself, after deciding she'd rather make a more secretive entrance into the stronghold than the main, very large one. As she ascended, she recognized some of the approaching evildoers. All right, so there's Nidhog, Arkel, and Nilarek, she thought, Well this looks easy! Phal gave a small laugh, and stepped over to her exit.

As she was slithering up the hole, she noticed a large shape cresting a faraway hill, having been hidden under the sand. It was another large, old dragon; Eschelon. Well now, at least, I have help, Phal mused with a smile, turning her head forward and continuing her clamber towards the cliff wall on the other side of her hole.

OOC: She'll engage the enemy in my next post.

Nidhog angrily clawed at his face, trying his cover his eves as the intense light became unbearable once more, though he could not see, his hearing and sense of smell were moer powerful than ever. He caught another scent. IT WAS PHALYNX! He roared angrily and tore himself away from the large tan dragon. He launched himself into the air and sued his snese of hearing to follow the silvery dragoness. He increassed his wingbeat and attacked, he blew his powerful green fire at the enemy in the sky.

Eschelon said, Thankyou, Phalynx, i was hoping for help I could not have takenthem all alone. said the tan dragon as he himself launched himself into the skies. He wearily fpalled his large wings and flew toward the dark red dragon. He was ful of darkness, so why not take out the biggest of the group. He roared angrily and blew his fire at the enemy.
