Cat or Dog? i love both, hard form me to decide.

Dogs definetly. I have two and I would like a cat but I prefer the dogs.

i like both sometime it becomes a pain having them but i still love them none the less like they are my children!! they have been doing very well considering that we just moved

Well cats eat mice.

One of my friends is terrified of dogs, he is afraid of a little seven pound dog that lives down my street. Imagin how scared he is whith my 100 pound puppy lol.

Cats are a lot easier to take care of, but yoyu can play with dogs more i guess, i have 1 dog 1 cat

I never had a cat but I want one. Also it may just be me but it seems that dogs are usuallt nicer than cats.

I dont think so at all, my cats really nice, but hes also fat and lazy but somehow hes superfastat the same time. And cats are a lot more passive usually, i think dogs need/want more attention

I think your right about that my dogs always want attention. One of my friends has a cat but his sister keeps torturing the poor thing. So everytime someone tries to pet it it runs away.

Nice pictures and animation fathskie . Another good thing about cats is that you can leave them for like a week if you go on vacation, assuming someone feeds them. In that situation, i think a dog would go crazy. They need people or there not happy

esspecially with an overgrown puppy lol. Although cats can be hard to find because they can fit in so many small areas. A dog will come when you call its name and I don't know any cats that can do that.

My cat knows its name, it just ignores you if you call it, especially at night, cus we throw her in the basement.

I've always had cats, so I like them. But dogs are smarter and more loyal, etc. So i said equal. Whatever you like.

Dogs can be really stupid, if theres a dog across the street and a car coming, theyde still go across. i dont think a cat would be dumb enough.

I'd do that lol jk. Yeah cats are usually smarter than dogs because they still can hunt small anyimals. Dogs can to but not as well.

Well, would you call a dolphin domesticated? I think the order is human, chimp, ape, dolphin, pig.

Cool, I want a pig. Some guy I met, I forgot his name had a pig. Lions can be trained but that doesn't mean they are domesticated. I'm not sure but I think its illegal to have a doliphin as a pet in the U.S.

Thats true, but at the zoo theyre well trained. Its actually ironic, pigs like to be clean contrary to popular belief.

Scavengers are meat eaters but thats not the point. What I'm saying is that is probably why people think they are dirty. Also I don't think pigs can be classified as hunters because they don't generally go out and hunt prey. *looks bihind me and sees a pig stalking me ready to charge*

Not nessesarily one of my dogs always cleans herself (which I think is weird because I only thought cats did that) I do agree that cats are smarter than dogs but dogs are easyier to train.

Cats usually smell cleaner, and there much quieter. If they see a car at one in the mroning, they wont wake you up barking like a dog will, thats annoying.

Escpesially at three in the morning lol. As for smell I wouldn't know because I don't have a sence of smell.

Dogs smell better, cats hear and see better. Cats have amazing night vision, they see better in the dark than light.

Do you mean that cats see better then dogs in the night. Because I highly doubt they can see better then the day. They can see definitly almost same as the day but I don't think better.

I dont really understand why people consider a fish a pet. All it does is swim in a tiny bowl and eat, you dont interact with it.

Probably becase they look cool. I had a fish that kept attacking its own reflection lol it was funny.

Well then what other pets do you have. I had a fish, two lizards (which my brother killed. He desided not to give them water when we went out for a few days.) Two rats and a thrid dog that died.

lol, I live on a lake so techniclly I could have millions of fish. The once I had that died in about a month was a beta (sp) fish which would be the reason it keep attacking its own reflection.

At one point i had a fishbowl on the mantelpiece, and they were doing repairwork up there. Because of that we had a ladder there, so they could reach. My cat actually climbed the ladder and got onto the mantel, then tried to eat the fish! Another time we were painting the basement and my cat stepped in the paint. We had blue paw prints around the whole house

lol poor fish. With the paint that would stinck to clean up. My dog Hershey almost bit my rats head off twice.

I had him out of his cage and he was wandering around.

I was close to him and pulled him awat. He didn't seam to care much. The second time I was holding him and my dog came and tried to bite his head off again.

Semms to be the other way around for me. Dogs are always dirty and smelly, cats are clean and are easier to take care of. They have more freedom, so i'd rather be a cat.

Thats much more common with dog, probably 4 to 1. I guess it happens with cats, ive never really heard of it though.

One of my friends thinks it is ok that animals are mistreted (he doesn't do it though.) he thinks because they aren't humans it doesn't matter.

Thats a good point We also mistreat plants, thinking there not important just so we can use the wood. They arent like animals or humans, but that shouldnt matter that much.

Yea we like kill plants and animals like we don't care.

I find it weird how people keep killing animals to seel there fur or ivory but they don't think at all if the animal goes extinct. If they do they have nothing to sell.
