oh i love all of the star wars books. im reading the new series called legacy of the force. its a 9 book series and i just finished the 4th. did you know theres over 100 star wars books? i havent read this one yet but i might though.

oh yeah, i read legacy of the force, as well as dark nest trilogy and the almost 20 book new jedi order series, the 9 book xwing series, the 2 book boba fett series, and about a million others, i'v read almost every major star wars book written, name one and i'll say if i've read it

its weird in the legacy of the force all of travvasis books have boba fet, all of dennings books have allana and tenel ka and all of allestons books have wedge antilis.

well i just finished my summer reading (in one day lol with a 215 page book), so im probably going to get hard contact when i have a chance unless inferno comes out.

its sometime during agust so im definitly getting hard contact since im going to cape cod in a week and i dotn know if theres a sutible book store there. theres a whole star wars section at the book store i go to, its not very big, but still.

my book store has over 40 or 50 full sized star wars books, but i've read most all of them but enjoy hard contact, and then hopfully triple zero, which is even better!! and enjoy your trip. let me know what you think of it

not much lightsabre stuff, but if you like halo, (and i'd take a guess and say you do) its very commando, blow stuff up-like, sweet guns and tech, etc

dark side winning and lightsaber stuff, try darth bane, a very evil sith who is also a good swordsman, you might like it, betrayal is good, and the sith do have the upper hand, i'd reccomend finishing it

no, but iluvsaphira, has read halo and republic commnados, ask him, and i've played the game, i'd guess there similar. i'm waiting for inferno, after betrayal

no, seeing as they were supposed to be "programmed" to obey order 66, they would have turned, but some, in rise of darth vader, didn't obey there orders about killing the jedi. so my guess is Karen Travis will explain more in her next book in the Legacy of the force series

well, as far as i know, the clones of jango served until they were too old, but the emperor saw a risk in clones from only one genome, or donor, or whatever, and made clones from multiple people, but Vaders Fist, the 501st, stayed "Pure" or all Jango clones, until i guess they died. they eventually started recruiting people that were just ordinary humans, but only humans.

rise of darth vader is a book, if i didn't make that clear or if you didn't know.

umm, yeah, Vader's Fist? Yes, they were, and were mentioned in various other books too. In Rep Commando it was most definitly before they became famed as his personal army.

really?!?!?!? i guessed from the title that it would be about like the end of the clone wars and order 66, and they would have to show where their true colors/loyalties lay. i guess not!! i don't mind though!! i love them! hopefully, after revelation is done, they'll come out faster.

Oh yeah, i remember them mentioning that. and its not even slow--its faster than an Xwing!! that's pretty fast, and almost impenitrable, highly armed, and with highly skilled pilots and shields, a squadron'ed make mincemeat out of a GA squadron. + the verp tech

I think that Cadues will eventually get the Sphere and that the sith will join him if they stop being cowards.

Not sure, but maybe. they're trying to preserve the Sith i guess. might have some prophecy. maybe they'll help him, but that'd make him a bit invincible.

yeah--its right after yavin--involves Leia on a diplomatic mission, Han, Chewie, and Luke trying to sort out pirate troubles, 5 Elite Stormtroopers have to go on the run after killing an ISB officer (they're really cool too), and Mara Jade, Emperor's Hand, is tracking down pirates. Very good book, cool to see Mara as the Hand.

one of the few things that i don't like about Traviss--She killed Mara!! Mara was awesome!!

Hell yes! She was my favorite female character! It was cool to see her, but now she's gone. She was kind of underdeveloped as a character and it was sad. I kept thinking that someone else like that Hapan lady would die. The whole reasoning behind that event being Jacen's Sith awakening was kind of sketchy...

yeah, she was great--less of a "serene Jedi Master", more of, "lets go blow things up, assassinate people, hunt them down in shadowy corners" type jedi. She was easily the best female character. I mean, lukes cool and all, but Mara was great. Jaina's cool too, but not even close to mara.

but your right-- i was happy when he married mara, and when ben was born, because he finally could be happy--Callista, the girl from bakura, and maybe one other hadn't worked out. But it did, and then Jacen took it away. I SO want him dead.
