Eralay and shaidin :)

NAME-Eralay

AGE-116 (but looks alot younger than she is~20/21~because of a spell gone wrong)

RACE-half elf half human(lots of people make it that)

GENDER-female

SKILLS- She can amount a large amount of power without much strain, she is an exeptional sword fighter and because she was born in the time of the riders she knows a very many spells that are beyond even eragons magical abilities(although she cannot use them yet).

HAIR- Browny black but with lots of different coloured streaks(kinda like mine)

EYES-Brown with a hint of gold but turns to pure gold when she uses magic

HOME VILLAGE- Hhe was born in Ilirea(Uru baen) and lived there untill she was fifteen

PARENTS- Her mothers name was Belitha (an elf) and her father Corin (human)

SIBLINGS-she has no siblings of this father but she has two step brothers

HISTORY- She was born in Ilirea seventeen years before the fall of the riders and was raised by her mother alone. both of her parents were riders and her father was in vroengard at the time of her birth. From a young age her mother taught her magic. She had always been very good at the skill performing feats at the age of ten that many older more experienced riders would have faltered with!! At fifteen years old she and her mother moved from Ilirea to Vroengard and her mother joined a councle of old exeprienced riders. This councle decided who was and was not able to be tested by dragon eggs to become a rider. Eralay had dreamed of becomig a rider but was impatient and seeked out a dragon before her time. She was injered badly and was in a coma for three days after being attacked by a wild dragon. Not long after she was tested by the councle and was deemed to wreckless and was denied permission to become a rider. Her mother was outraged at this and left the councle. Around a year later Eralays father was reported missing. A week before the fall of the riders Corin was found by Galbatorix and joined him knowing that after his own dragon had been killed Galbatorix may be the only one able to find another egg for him. On the day of the fall Eralay and her mother were out flying when they were attacked by another dragon. They were forced to the ground and Belitha told her daughter to hide which she did leaving her mother to confront the rouge rider alone only to be killed along with her dragon Leathea. It turned out the killer was her father!! His mind had been twisted by Galbtorix into blaming Belitha for what happened to his dragon. After the fall she fled, with Brom (who she had always been freinds with) to the Beor mountains where she hid untill, eventually, she left to explore Aligaesia. She was still too afraid to defend herself and therefore was captured and sold as a slave to Galbatorix where she found the egg of her dragon Shaidin. Using her magic oncemore they escaped from Galbatorix and headed for the Varden.

CHARACTER PERSONALITY-She is mainly very quiet and secretive because of tramas she experienced in her childhood. she is very focused and pationate and when is set on a task that she beleives in, she will see it through to the end even if it kills her. she is a very caring person and always puts the needs of others before her own. her whole demeanor can change in an instant with a word or touch much like arya. she rairly opens up to anyone which is the main reason why not much is known of her. she takes responcibility for all her actions and acts very mature but when in the right place at the right time she can act like she looks.she always feels very guilty to what happened to her mother and blamed herself so she trys to make up for it by helping as many people as she can though thing do not always turn out how she plans.she rairly kills and if she does its only under the most dier of curcumstances and beleives everyone deserves a second chance.

WEAPONS- she uses her mothers riders sword. the handel and tip of the blade were a deep violet, the rest of the blade was silver with intricate swirls etched into it. the handle was decorated in the same way and as like eragons containd a large gem, a diamond. she also carries an ivory bow decorated finely with vines painted twining around the bow. each arrow was tipped with a black swan feather.

LIKES- she enjoys nothing better than to be alone with her thoughts but sometimes enjoyes the company of certain others. she also enjoys hearing people sing (though she never does herself) and strawberries.

DISLIKES- she does not hate much, only her father and galbatorix but she does feel like there is a higher power controlling galbatorix but she cannot prove this.

ANIMAL COMPANIONS-besides shaidin Eralay has only one other animal friend, a horse that was given to her by brom. its name is sorian and it is veryspecial because it is able to talk to you through the ancient language in your mind (though he does not often choose to to anyone other that Eralay). he is black with a blonde/creamy mane and a white stripe down his nose.

DREAMS-Eralay dreams, as Eragon does, to free all the slaves thoughout aligaesia and end galbatorixes tirany

REASON FOR DREAMS- being a slave in her life she wishes to free all those who suffer as she did and defeat galbatorix so he can inflict no more pain.

DRAGON NAME- Shaidin

AGE- 2 years (fortunatly they were able to evade galbabtorix for that long in order for him to grow)

GENDER- male

PARENTS- luakin (father) and shana (mother). his mother was a wild dragon.

HISTORY- although his egg had been taken by galbatorix shadin had been in contact with Eralay for a long time as his mother was the dragon that had attacked her in vroengard. because of that when he hatched they formed a bond very quickly and would do anything for eachother. shaidin knows of Eralays heritage more than she does (she is a blood decendant of the original eragon) so knows he must protect her at all costs.

PERSONALITY- altogether he and Eralay are alot like eachother. they share the same determination but also the same care for plant, animal and human alike. he is also quite secretive and does not reveal even to Eralay alto of what magic he knows. he is very devoted to Eralay and would kill himself for her if need be. not knowing what family is like he clings to her like a dog to a bone and is bonded to her in more ways than one.

COLOUR- gold scales mainly but they often flash and look red or orange. when in the sunlight he looks as if hes on fire!

APPEARANCE- he is very muscular due to almost a year of flying with Eralay trying to evade glabatorix and the razac and has very strong wings. his appearance is soft for a dragon, if a little haggared but you can see in his eyes how much he loves Eralay!!

ARMOUR- neither of them wear armor. Eralay believes that if you fight with armour then you cheat yourself out of knowing you can deflect a sword (this has almost got her killed a few times). as natural shaidin follows her.

DREAMS- shaidin shares Eralays dreams to free the slaves because of her memories of slavery. he also wishes to help thorn and murtagh leave galbatorix and help to defeat him

REASONS FOR DREAMS- to stand by Eralay but also for his own desire to free thorn and destroy galbatorix and avenge his parents(who were killed in the fall).
