Sky stared around the corner as the shade gave him a small nudge. It was dawn; the perfect time to practice magic. EmberFalcon seemed to grin as he panted in a dog-like manner from behind Sky, whil Trionna and Jewel went un-shyly in the lead. Sky huffed at their aparant boldness. It was dangerous to go quickly in this place, within sight of the guards. He knew that the guards didn't like for the shade to not have him and his sister chained, but they would have to learn different because the shade trusted him. EmberFalcon was the next to dash away, catching up with Jewel and licking her hand affectionately. Sky sighed, along with the shade; caution would have to abandoned. Though, why they needed caution was beyond both of them. Oh well, it was just a feeling, right?

They were in a swampy area near the main gate of the castle, low hanging moss brushing against their faces. Sky didn't want to be seen by any guards, so they had been trying to sneak in, but Jewel had thought it ridiculous and gone on ahead. Now the shade sighed and followed suite, causing Sky to trail behind like a shadow.

Morena rolled away from arrows that raced towards her. Since she had left her island home she had only met with trouble. While rolling she accidentally rammed into one of those shade things. Morena didn't understand why people were afraid of them, but then she had only just gotten to this huge land a little while ago. Morena jumped aside, and almost ran into a boy about four years younger than her. "Get out of my way!" she said, when she saw a dragon behind him. "Oh. You're one of them." Morena muttered as she looked for a way of escape. Soldiers were pouring out of the castle now. "Maybe I shouldn't have taken something so valuable." she thought aloud. "I s'pose that I'm now officially a thief. Well I can't blame me. Not if I haven't eaten in three days. Now for some wings!" Morena called in melodious song and out of the sky came her transportation. "Oh no. Not one of those!" she exclaimed when she saw what it was

Greetings, I am Dzroginion the mercenary! I believe you called. He said to the human girl he saw. "I called but I didn't want a dragon!" Morena said. "Until now my call has never failed. Hey werewolf boy, do you need my help with anything?" I wouldn't call it failure! Dzroginion laughed. But if either of you need help fighting I will gladly offer my services.
Morena sighed. "Do you need our help?" she asked the boy who reminded her of one of her brothers years ago before his death.
Dzroginion smiled a triumphant smile when the small dragon heard that the human would except his aid.

Sky flinched at the appearance of the massive dragon and wondered where this girl had come from. He began a sentence and stopped. "Did you just-." He looked at Trionna, who shrugged. His dragon ran up to the other and gazed curiously up at it. Sky looked at this new comer again. "Where did you come from? Where did that little kid in the tree go? He was about to shoot the princess. What did you take? I can talk to those guards, if you aren't working for Arren. I'm an oracle, so I have about as much power as Darius... that evil... Well, I can take care of this for you." He grinned and hoped he was looking the right direction. His sense of aura told him he was looking at the girl, but in this blackness he could never be sure. Something ran into him from behind and he realized that Luke had come to help. Luke panted and glared at Sky. His mouth opened and closed severl times with no sound. Then he saw the newcomer. "Well, Sky, you went into the forest and found us some trouble. Good work. Now, Trouble, what might your name be?"

OOC: Dzroginion is actually tiny for a dragon his age (a few hundred years old) He is only six feet at the base of his neck

IC:Morena spat on the ground and cursed. "Why should I tell you who I am? And who in the world is Arren? I don't know what I took. It's some sort of jewel shaped like a sword. See?" Morena said completely in her melodious voice as she lifted it where the others could see
OOC: A rider's sword.

IC: Dzroginion snorted. How did you steal something that big? "I dunno." Morena replied. "Beginners luck maybe?"
Dzroginion looked at the young dragon You have a great future ahead of you little one! he told him. You cannot have as much power as one that I know. She will soon have no match when her transformation is complete. The green dragon looked at the one who had spoken first, as he talked
Morena looked with curiosity at the dragon. "Who is that?" she asked Nobody you would have heard of, especially since you can't recognize a rider's sword at sight.
When Dzroginion said that what she had stolen was a rider's sword Morena threw it down in disgust, and wiped her hands on her leg as if they were dirty. "My name is not Trouble" she said in an annoyed, yet still meldious tone. "But you may call me that."

Sky shook his head at the oddity of it all. Trionna approached Morena and gave her an appraising look. "I know that jewel. Where did you get it?" As Trioanna and Luke buissied themselves with the new arrival, Sky and EmberFalcon headed toward the soldiers running toward them. Sky held up a hand and most of them stopped, the ones who didn't found themselves running into a barrier as Sky used magic to place a wall in their way. "Now," he said calmly, "What do you think we ought to do about her?" he nodded toward Morena. "I," said Sky,"THink we should invite her to dinner and have her explain."

OOC: is the color better?
"Explain what?" Morena asked as she put a little distance between her and the one who had just used magic.
Dzroginion looked at the girl with a studying look. I think she is a stranger to Alagaesia.
Morena looked at the dragon. "Alagaesia?" she asked. "All I know is that I came from an island that people here call Vroengard. All I know is that I left death behind, and Death is the path that I tread. I am Morena, the last human inhabitant of Vroengard. Do you expect me to know anything of a land I have just reached?"
There are many who can teach you, and if you didn't want to go to a person you could read. Dzroginion said as he took off, and came down on the other side of the air barrier, and started tearing soldiers apart.
"Reading wasn't considered necessary." Morena said as she looked at each one there, and probed at their minds. "I grabbed it from somewhere called the keep I think. Who owns this place anyways?" She asked.

Sky frowned. "Dragon, quite killing Darius's soldiers!" He looked at the girl. "I'd like you to explain to Darius why you're here and how you got here. Or, I could get you into a nice little cottage where no one would bother you." He stared at his feet as Luke spoke up. "Yeah, we have barraks and-" A look from Sky cut him off. "No," said Sky, "Not the barraks. She can stay in one of the castle chambers." He gestured to EmberFalcon. "This is EmberFalcon, my friend and dragon. He will offer your dragons companionship as well as service." EmberFalcon growled and bowed his head. "At your service." Sky nodded and started toward the castle with no other words besides: "Follow me, I'll take you to the castle to get food and anything else you need. THen I'll show you around and tell you about Arren."

(Sorry, I lost track, I thought that this one was set in Rivoran... Let's just say Sky had hit his head on something and thought he was in Rivoran...)

The shade came over and whacked the back of Sky's head. "No, you foolish boy, you aren't in your home world anymore!" Sky stiffened. "Oh, right." The shade glared and looked at the girl. "Those soldiers work for Galbatorix. They work with us. I am a shade and these are my companions. Come to think of it, I don't think it would be wise for you to re-enter that building. Come sit by my fire and I'll tell you who we all are."

EmberFalcon looked at the older dragon with wonder. He tried to speak but only gave a high-pitched growl. He coughed a few times and tried again. "I would like to learn other things besides helping with the magic of others." He bowed as well as a dragon can and looked up again. "I didn't know there were other dragons..."

The shade smiled grimly. "yes, I know my kin have made fools of themselves, but I don't terrorize anyone. I have no name to tell you. Galbatorix is the king. I serve him, though I'm not quite sure whether I'll continue or not. Is there anywhere we can escort you to? That way you won't face his wrath?" Sky spoke up. "Do you know what he did to Jamoth for breaking something? He locked him in the dungeon and I had to use magic to get him out." The shade fixed him with a look and he fell silent... for a moment. "We can help you do whatever it is you're here for." The shade rolled his eyes and nodded.

EmberFalcon stared at the older dragon in awe. "Who's the were-elf? What do you mean by gifts? Are there more dragons?"

Somewhere else, Magda grinned. This was going too well.

Every Dragon has gifts! Dzroginion told EmberFalcon. I for one have a mind trap that I can use on anything smaller than myself that would usually immobilize them. And yes there are other dragons! As for the were-elf... Well actually there are more than one of them. Most are completely unrelated, and the other two are brother and sister. Not the most loving family, but the one I'm talking about is Elfrida the sister. She has visions, and often knows how one should be trained. If she has a reason she will come here. If not then there is probably no hope of finding her. She is hunted by Galbatorix for some... Special skills she was gifted with at her birth. Maybe one day you will meet her.

"The king of what?" Morena asked, as she unconsciously sat down. "And where is this place? I have no place to go as of yet. I am still learning of this land and it's people. What I seek is a place where I can take out my wrath upon Elves, dwarves, and humans... I mean other humans. They did me hurt, and now I seek their hurt." Morena didn't know why, but for some reason she felt as if she were being watched, and she felt as if she couldn't trust the shade. Somewhere nearby a twig snapped--no not a twig. A branch. Morena jumped to her feet, and prepared to use her hands to kill.

Elfrida sat in a tree watching those underneath her. "That lying mercenary!" She said to her two companions. "What lie?" Blacknight snorted. Elfrida had no answer and Death started laughing at her. "I will think of it eventually!" she told them, breaking a branch Silently, and throwing it at Death

OOC: and silently means she did it without a sound, and she is not what Morena heard.

OOC: Hope you don't mind me joining.

IC: Solarae grinned, seeing a few familiar faces far below. She had met several of the assembled folk. Dzroginion she had met during a few fights, and the other group of Sky, EmberFalcon, and the rest only a short time ago. Time to make my entrance, she thought. She twisted one of her wings, pulling herself into a tight spiral towards the ground.

With a flourish of wings that included a small burst of flame from the tips, she landed on the ground near the main group. Solarae had never been shy about showing off. Hey, guys! What's up? I don't believe I've met a couple of you. What's your name? Mine's Solarae, she called, her voice friendly. She turned to the young girl and asked her name, curious about her identity.

(My girl or Morena?)

Sky sensed the excitement as Trionna and Jewel saw the third dragon approaching. EmberFalcon watched as it came closer. His ears pricked up and his tail wagged in an oddly wolflike way. Sky heard his happy thoughts echoing through his mind. "Another dragon Sky! Oh wow, another dragon!" Trionna smiled as she saw it more clearly. "Well Sky, maybe, with your dragon, a wild dragon, and possibly two more dragons, you might be able to finish that thing with Arren after all."

For a moment Sky thought that EmberFalcon would faint. But then the dog-like creature replied. "No, not at all. I don't mind." he ducked his head respectfully and Sky looked around for a moment. "Well," he said, "I suppose now we have to tell you about Arren."

(I posted this earlier but my computer was evil and turned off the internet connection... then it didn't tell me anyone else had posted anything..meh! )


Sky nodded slightly to the dragon and explained. "Arren used to be the advisor to the king of my world. But then he defeated a powerful opponent and decided not to kill him. THe opponent told him that he would take revenge and also told him when the revenge would come. That day came and Arren wanted to go find the man, but the king wouldn't let him and sent him away on a mission. The man came and killed Arren's wife and son. Arren arrived in time to see his son die. He was devastated because there was nothing he could do at that point. After that he wanted to kill the king. Eventually he found a witch by the name of Magda to help him. They need to capture the king's daughter in order to defeat the king. The captured her once, but I rescued her. That incounter cost me half of my sould and all of my sight. The next year they tried a different approach. They tried to just kill the princess by way of sending a man called Gandyn after her. I killed him. Now his son, Jamoth, and Arren are all after me and the princess. They followed us to this world, hoping to help Galbatorix to the throne and then defeat him so they'll have a better chance of killing the king of my world. We wnat to stop him, so we're also working for Galbatorix. When he reaches full power we plan to overthrow him using some new spells that the shade's been learning, along with the help of some drgon riders. We know it'll work when he's at his highest power because the closer to the top of the mountain you are, the closer to going down the other side you get."

Morena looked at Sky and said "You don't look like someone who can play the hero." Morena turned around, running her eyes over the trees. "There is something out there." She said. "Something--or someone--very unpleasant."

You have had an interesting life it seems young Sky. Dzroginion said. And an interesting plan. Galbatorix himself may be easy enough to defeat despite the large stock of Eldunari he possesses, but with all his helpers he will be hard to reach. Dzroginion turned to EmberFalcon and asked him what he wanted to learn first. Dzroginion looked at Morena out of the corner of an eye when she said something, or someone was nearby, Who, or what? he asked.

OOC: Little bit of a writers block from making three new characters.

EmberFalcon thought for a moment. "I'd like to be able to breathe fire, right now I can blow smoke out of my mouth and nose, but that's all. I'd also like to get bigger, that way Sky can actually ride on me." He ducked his head shyly at the seemingly riddiculous request.

Sky looked furious. "What do you mean I can't play the hero? I've saved a princess twice I managed to say no when a witch wanted me to join her cause! I gave up half of my soul so the princess wouldn't have to!" Jewel shook her head. "Sky, calm down, I'm sure she wasn't trying to insult you." The shade nodded. "She is right, you don't look like much. Now stop looking like an injured puppy or I'll wallop you so hard that-" A stirn looked from Trionna stopped him. "In time," Jewel said, "We'll know who the heroes are."

Dzroginion listened with less than half an ear to the two-legs, and gave the rest of his attention to Solarae, and EmberFalcon. Eating healthy does not mean becoming a vegetarian like the elves would have you believe. Dzroginion said. The mercenary dragon was enjoying teaching this young dragon with Solarae, even if he hadn't actually been a help yet.

Morena looked at Sky and laughed. "No it wasn't meant as an insult. It was a compliment that one who is so young, who appears to be unable to do great feats can." Morena looked at the dragons--in distaste--and said, "It is hard to believe one is a great hero when his dragon cannot yet breath fire, but that is something time will cure." Morena walked over to a tree and leaned against it. "Tell me, why do you wish to overthrow your king?" she asked.

OOC: Sorry for Morena's insults, and sorry that it's short. These aren't my greatest characters, and I'm still getting to know them.

(Oh that's fine, alot of mine are short too. And the insult's okay as well, I rag my own charries sometimes. )

Sky glowered for a moment before settling down. "I hate my king, Darius, because he paid for me and Jewely. I also hate peirates, they kidnapped us in the first place. I like this Shade, he takes care of us. I'm not sure who to hate more, Arren for blinding me, Darius for buying me, or Captain who stole me. Meh, I hate them all, it doesn't matter." He crossed his arms and glanced sideways at the Shade in an ammusing gesture, as he accidently looked far to the left of him. Trionna smirked and said nothing.

EmberFalcon shuffled his front paws eagerly, his ears facing forward and his mouth open in that grin-like way that dogs have. He bit back an excited yip and jumped once, fluttering his wings. "oh, I can fly pretty well, by the way. I can fly really fast. I don't think even Thorn could catch me." he flicked the tip of his tail and fluttered his wings some more. "Do you think you could teach me some flying maneuvers?" he asked, pawing at an acorn.

(I think he has some attention problems... He's a bit more neurotic than I described him as I think... might need to edit the bio... )

EmberFalcon nodded and paced away a few yards. "That'd be great." he said, "I know a place where we could practice, or Sky could just make one." Sky blinked slightly at the remark. "I'm not that good at magic EmberFalcon." He looked around and then focused on Morena. "If you have a knife, dagger, or sword, I can show you what I can do." he grinned slightly and drew his own sword, Sil Fear'nin Vade, from its sheath at his side. He tossed it into the air and caught it again, just for effect.


High in one of the trees a small figure walked liesurely along a branch, his back arched slightly and purring quietly. His whiskers brushed a leaf on the left side of his face and the purring stopped. He sat down and scratched the annoyance away. Then he saw the group of people below and watched them in a detatched manner. He groomed his face with a forepaw and then leapt into their midst. Like a shadow his dragon friend circled above.

OOC: Here he comes!

IC:Daris came in for a landing and looked with annoyance at another small dragon. Of course you can live off of just vegetables! I have done it for the past One thousand two hundred sixty years, mistress dragoness, and I have only benefited. The green dragon looked at the furry little dragon. I have never trained, or even seen a dragon of your kind before. You are very special. Allow me to introduce myself. I am Daris, and who might you three be?

Dzroginion looked in surprise at what appeared to be a mirror image of himself, only around a foot shorter. I am called Dzroginion the Mercenary. he told Daris. He received a look that said he had just been very impolite, and seemed to say that the older dragon disproved of mercenaries. Things were starting to get interesting.

Morena looked at Sky. "I don't believe in using weapons other than what I was born with." she said, and watched without excitement, and completely unimpressed as he threw, and caught his sword. "If you want to learn to juggle then I would suggest you start with something blunt. And the King I was talking about is the one of this place--Alagaesia? Why do you want to overthrow him?" Morena looked at the cat, but said nothing.

Sky huffed, annoyed, at the girl. "I'm not juggling. And what do you think you're going to do against armed men, eh? Listen you-" Jewel silensed him by muttering his name quietly. "I don't suggest you make him angry, he is a werewolf. As for why we want Galbatorix gone. Would you want someone who'll kill for fun ruling you? He kills dragons as well." The cat stood and stretched, placing his front paws on Sky's knee. He yawned again and walked around. "Well, I happen to know some things about him, if you care to listen. But then, I do have my price for valuble information." he dodged a kick from the Shade and went on, "This dragon and I could help you if we wanted to, but if yu humans prove to be as stupid as the rest of your race I might not tell you that the way to stop Galbatorix lays hidden right beneath your feet."

The cat looked at Solarae as she asked him about his plan. He blinked once, twice, and a third time. "Oh, so you're interested eh? I might tell you...I might not." He curled his tail around his paws and puffed out his chest regally. "I thought you'd want to know. It won't so much defeat him as end his reign, more or less the same thing. How did you find out I knew how anyway, oh scaly one? Ah, never mind how you found out, it's more what I should charge you for my genious that's the question. How much are you willing to pay? But then, you creatures rarely deal in my kind of currancy." Sky glared at him, accidently looking at Morena instead of the cat. "Well, I'll deal in a currancy know to all; it's called World of Hurt trading! You don't tell and I'll use magic to skin you, tail to whiskers, you mangy devil!" Jewel knelt in front of the cat and looked him in the eye. "Well, what can you tell us? Eh? I'll bet there aren't any cats in the world as smart as you." She smiled slightly. The cat folded his ears back and growled. "Why do all manlings think that cat currancy is flattery? No, my money is wit. You give me a riddle I can't work out, I'll tell you. Give me one I can work out and I'll tell you anyway, though it may not be as reliable." He winked and padded over to the dragon again, looking at them all wisly.

Morena ignored Sky's look as she said, "I could care less about dragons being killed. And I really doubt your werewolf could kill me. I have trained since my birth in the art of fighting with my hands and feet, and have defeated quite a number." Morena looked at the cat and said, "I have a riddle for you, though I do not desire the knowledge.
Slayer of men,
humbler of kings,
Bringer of wars,
a song of which many sing.
The proud man falls to his knees.
What am I? Oh tell me please." Can you tell me the answer cat? Morena smiled. She had not invented it, but someone hidden nearby had told it to her, and to her only.

Daris looked at the dragon who wasn't his color. Many mysteries abound in the universe madam, there are many reasons why we may appear the same. And yes there are vegetables which allow great strength, and others for long flight, but if you have both within one hundred years of each other it cancels out the effect. I myself prefer long flight to great strength. Daris looked at his brother. Why did he choose such an unfavorable career? It disgusted the older dragon, but he did not mention it.

Dzroginion was confused as to who this Daris was, but did what he knew this vegetarian--How could any dragon be a vegetarian? he wondered--dragon expected. This is Solarae, and this is EmberFalcon. Is that what you wanted to know? The other dragon gave him a look that said he was being rude again. Well at least I tried. Dzroginion thought, and he too turned his attention to the cat.



OOC: actually Daris addressed Solarae and EmberFalcon first.

The cat sniffed at the riddle. "Nice try, but that's so easy a sleeping dragon could solve it. It's either Greed, or fortune. But I'll tell you anyway... When I want to." He seemed pleased with himself in the highest degree as his dragon, who had been quiet until now, laughed slightly.

The cat huffed and extended his claws, imagining Morena's face as the ground he was clawing. "Well, whatever. If you people would just dig you'd find what you're supposed to do. Do you have any idea how may dragon eggs are hidden in his place, a few hundred miles underground. They'd be the furry variety, like EmberFalcon and her." he nodded at his own dragon.

The cat sniffed slightly. "No you stupid lizard. They aren't that easy to get to. You moronic daughter of a gekko. I've eaten gekkos, by the way. the eggs are much more difficult to get to than burning a hole in the ground. They're guarded by magic, and trolls, and other magic creatures that you've probably never heard of before. You'd need alot of help getting to them." He tossed his head arrogantly as he flicked his tail in a supierior way and trotted across the clearing to scratch a tree, getting bored and returning to Sky, where he starting scratching the lad's leg before having to dodge a violent kick. Just then a boy came staggering into the clearing, holding onto a stone and muttering franticly. The cat huffed. "Well," he said, "There's your answer."

The cat snarled irritibly. "Well fine, go if you must. But now I don't really care, as the guide that you need is here. But you may as well know that below is a maze of tunnels, some of which make up the body of the most powerful dragon in the known world. She has no name, but is said to be the mother of all wolvendrakes. She is strong, cunning, and will stop at nothing to protect her young. She peaks a language that only the one with the life of the heart can understand. The life of the heart is also known as the bloodstone. The lad you've just seen has it. If you get lucky the mother will talk to the lad before she tries to kill you, in which case she'll note your pure intentions and give you the second of seven stones, the one known as the breath of the life. You have to find the other five if you hope to beat this king. But watch carefully your backs; I might just deem to give him good advice as well." He then seemed to melt into the forest, his dragon at his side.

Quinne looked around, confused, as Jewel walked up to him. The girl spoke calmly. "Hello, my name is Jewel. We need you to help us with something really important. Just follow us into that tunnel and we'll explain on the way." Something about the way she said it made Quinne obey without question. But Sky stepped in the way. "How do we know that that mangy little demon from who knows where didn't lie?" he demanded. Jewel rolled her eyes. "He wouldn't, he isn't the type. He's the type who wanders and helps the few people he takes a short fancy to. He may now be helping the varden, or going to see if he likes Galbatorix or any of his followers, so I suggest we hurry." With that Sky followed her and Quinne, along with the others, into the dark tunnel.

(Sorry for making Prince insult your charry, Draco, it's part of his weird personality... )

Morena was quick to enter the hole and follow, while appearing not to follow.

Daris and Dzroginion entered the cave and followed everyone else.

Quinne looked nervous but followed silently, hoping that these people could help him fend off gis uncle. As they trudged through the tunnels he became aware of another being in the maze with them. He looked around, wishing that tunnels were a little more open and less tunnely. He flinched as the werewolf bumped into him; he hated dogs.

OOC: Pass. My characters are just following.

Quinne shrieked in terror and jumped, hitting his head on the low ceiling of the tunnel. Sky, reacting to the sound, drew his sword and aimed it at Quinne, who flinched and bumped into Trionna, who backed away into Jewel, who fell sideways into Sky, who yelped fell back against Morena. Quinne looked, terrified, at the chaos. He flinched again and went to the far wall away fro meveryone else. Sky picked himself up with a growl and went to Solarae. "So how far in here do you think this dragon is?" he muttered. Quinne suddenly yelped again. Sky rounded on him angrily. 'Are you really such a co-" he stopped. He had meant to grab the coward by the throat, but felt nothing where the voice was coming from. He then noticed that Quinne had fallen into a secret passage. "Meh." He muttered, following more slowly. There were several creatures hanging from the ceiling in this palce. Jewel noticed that they looked like bats, except more doglike. They had long fangs and their heads were covered in scales. At first the ydidn't worry her. She laughed quietly as one flew down and landed on her brother. Another follwed. Then nother. Jewel saw that most of them had woken up and were flying toward Sky. He yelped as one bit him, then started slashing away at them with his sword.

Quinne heard the voice as a whisper, then as a high pitched scream. "Get out, get out! We'll kill all of you! You'll not steall our treasures!" he paled and backed away, watching Sky and Jewel fight the bat creatures off. Eventually he felt something else. It was a kind of vibrating inside the bloodstone. He whispered to it and it responded with another voice. It seemed to say "Stop", and the bats instantly dropped as if dead to the floor. Sky stared at him in amazment and he realized that Sky thought that he, Quinne, had made the creatures stop. Sky nodded to him. "Good work coward."

Morena decided walking behind Sky wasn't a good idea, and would have dropped back to where the scared boy was, just to be away from Sky, when he dropped. Into a hole. Morena slowly followed, and looked at all the bats on the floor. She did not fear them, as no animal would harm her--except maybe dragons, werecats, and werewolves. "I do not think they stopped for him." Morena told Sky. She wasn't sure, but she almost felt a hidden presence in the room, as if the stone the boy was holding had life of it's own. As impossible as it seemed, Morena thought it to be a possibility.

Daris looked down into the secret passage, and decided he wasn't needed.
Dzroginion would have looked, only he was trying to avoid the other green dragon.

Quinne yelped and shrank back against the wall. Sky turned to him with a look of mischief. "You're scared now? Oh I do hope you're still with us at full moon." Trionna grinned evily while the Shade muttered something about knowing his apprentice would evenyually become evil.

OOC: (Pass, sorry.)

Morena sighed. It seemed that the werewolf boy was trying to work up the fear in the other, younger one. She glared at Sky, moving between him and the boy with the stone. "He is not you. Leave him alone, he has his own strengths and weaknesses, and I am sure you have just as many, or more as well. Leave him be." Her eyes were hard, her green showing anger, and her brown showing nothing. She hated it when people took advantage of others, and she wouldn't allow this werewolf to do it to the one who stood against the wall.

Daris entered the secret passage, and stepped carefully to avoid squashing the bats. It disgusted him that other dragons ate meat, and he looked away when Solarae bit the bat.
Dzroginion followed into the passage way, and gave the uptight green dragon a look, before passing him. He had never seen such a weird dragon before.
OOC: I was going to use uppity instead of uptight, but that may only be a southern word. I don't know.

(Nah, I know that word; my mom uses it fre...Oh yes...we're southern...that's why... )

Sky glared at the girl, ready to hit her. "Oh, come on, I was just joking with him is all; you girl folk have no sense of humor, he knows I didn't mean it." He glared at her again and tried to start a staring contest, before realizing that the attempt was doomed to failure. Quinne grinned ever so slightly, deciding it was time to use one of his many methods of getting revenge. He made a snappy remark at Sky and the two were instantly engaged in a contest of witty remarks and sly slander. To put it bluntly, they were seeing who could insult the other worse and make up the smartest come backs. Trionna rolled her eyes and kept walking, telling Sky "Sky, I'm rolling my eyes at you."

Sky just grinned and started talking just a bit louder. The shade rolled his eyes as they continued through the tunnel, though it seemed that Sky and Quinne were starting to warm up to each other. Then Quinne froze and muttered something to Sky, who had kept walking. "What?" Sky asked as Quinne told him something quietly. Sky's eyes started to get big, the first sign of something not being quite right. He nodded several times and went to the shade, who seemed vastly annoyed. "What do you mean she said she was going to kill us if we came any closer?" He yelled. Quinne whispered something that sounded a lot like: "I mean she said she'd kill us if we came closer." he then started muttering quietly to himself, or so it seemed. After a moment he clamed down. "Um, she just said that if we want her eggs we have to do something for her." the Shade looked angry at that. "Well what does she want?" Quinne shuffled slightly. "Erm, well, she's..not happy right now, sort of bored, sooo she wants to..play." The shade stared at him until Sky started laughing like a maniac. "Play? Play? Well what does she want to play? I hope it doesn't involve eating the loser." Quinne thought for a moment. "She just said she likes that idea, so she'll eat the loser. She said we better start playing no, because she already has." Sky gave him an odd look. "What are we playing?" Quinne was slow to answer. "Hide and Seek." Sky seemed okay with this idea. "So we have to find..." he suddenly didn't seem okay with it. "We have to find her. Oh great..." The Shade however seemed delighted. "Ahahahah, let the games begin dragon. If we win we get all of your eggs. Boy, translate." Quinne nodded and after a moment gulped. "She says that she'll let us have the eggs if we win, but that she's already found us. Now she just has to catch us."

Quinne muttered something and then looked up. "She said that we have to look for her, and if we find her she'll give us the eggs. If she finds us...She'll let us decide who gets eaten and then we try again. So more or less we just keep walking until we find her. May as well take votes now on who we'd prefer to get eaten first. I nominate..." Sky shot him a look. "No one's going to get eaten, but I vote Morena goes first in that unlikely event."

Morena laughed at when Sky volunteered her. "I was going to volunteer anyways." she said in her musical voice. "I suggest the search begins, or there will be none of us left, and the dragon eggs will remained untouched." Morena said seriously. Walking into a tunnel near where she could feel the dragon.

Daris followed the human girl--who seemed to have her head screwed on right compared to the others. He decided her company would be much better than that of the other two dragons. He was still grumbling within his mind about the meat thing.

Dzroginion looked down one tunnel, and up another. He could smell the dragon through both. Should we split up? he asked. It seemed they already had as Morena, and Daris had disappeared into another tunnel which the smell of the one they were looking for seemed to be coming from. I wonder if they all lead to the same place he thought the last bit to himself, and looked at the tunnels.

OOC: (EmberFalcon is just bored and following quietly behind, don't worry, I was going to make him get some more action in a moment. )

EmberFalcon, who had been following almost stoicly for awhile now, suddenly perked up and nudged Sky with his head. "Hey, maybe we should split up. We could take the boy with us and surround the dragoness, then we she tries to catch the others we could ambush her. Or at least, we could do that, but I like Solarae's idea a bit better. It makes sense." Sky nodded slightly. "Yes, it does make sense." He turned to Morena. "Aw, are you trying to play hero? I wouldn't worry about you too much, you'd just cause so much trouble that the dragon wouldn't be able to eat you." Then EmberFalcon growled slightly. "I think I heard something, well felt it anyhow. It's like a sort of...I don't know. I think the dragoness is coming closer." Quinne nodded at him. "We're sooo going to die." he muttered. He noticed something shiny in the wall and went toward it, but Jewel grabbed his arm. "You know, it could be a-" They both proceeded to fall straight through the wall, which closed behind them as if nothing had happened.

Dzroginion said that he would stay, as Solarae's plan made more sense than Morena's. Then a couple of the two-legs fell through the wall. Dzroginion sighed, and used his mind to tell Morena what had happened. He felt her stiffen, then barricade her mind to him. He nearly expected her to return with Daris behind her but she didn't, although it didn't really matter to Dzroginion.

Daris continued to follow the round-ear two-legs down the tunnel, and soon could smell the dragoness the were hunting behind them. The two-legs went into another tunnel where the smell of the dragoness seemed directly in front of them. Daris was surprised at the two-legs tracking ability, but said nothing, and stood behind her.
