I was so tired from wandering around trying to find that someone or something that had taken the pain away. I knew I had to find them. It started to get dark, so I decided to make camp. I started a fire when I heard a stick crack behind me. I turned around with sword in hand and froze.

A huge gray beast was in front of her. It let out a shriek and leapt forward. taking her belongings, she ran as fast as the wind, the spirits of the forest blazing before her very eyes like burning candles. she bounded over huge roots, plains, and small rivers but still, the monster was behind her. knowing her power quite well, she muttered the words of power to teleport, but it was too late. a pain like a white hot knife struck struck her in the back. she let out one gasp and fell, her blue and green eyes slowly closing until all became dark...

I felt myself start to fade.......

the smell of damp straw and dung reached Erais' nose and she gagged. It was not the smell;the thing before her was back. It let out a growl, and lightning fast a cloaked figured appeared. "the raz'ac,"i thought as i tried to gaze behind the cowled face. "sssshe isssss awake," the raz'ac hissed as it reached for it's dagger."i wanted to kill you when u were awake so that u can feel the pain" Erais felt weak. just as she bagan to lose all hope, there was a blur, a gleam, and a sharp screech. a wounded raz'ac got on the mount and began to fly away, but the blur appeared again, and the rider and mount tumbeled down what seemed to be a steep mountain. Another cloaked figured appeared. this one was tall. It uncovered its face. Erais let out a gasp. A violet skinned stranger that was male stood before her. He had very long hair.; a ponytail that went down to the floor. "Serais,"he said."that is my name."

eragon's twin sister sent me a PM that had something to do with this. eragon's twin sis said something about joining. I don't know what, but if you tell me, i will.

"What do you want?" I said, while trying to sit up but couldn't. "And who are you?" I said with a groan as the drugged foreced me to lay back down...

"that is not important right now,"he answered."we must get out of here. he gazed at the lock on the cage and it exploded. he grabbed her by the arm and dash forward faster than any humanoid could have. Then he jump he sailed through the air like a powerful bird, then began to fall, gripping Erais by the arm as he went.

OOC:if u have seen spirited away, haku did the thing my RP will do now.

IC: He flew down like a shooting star, and began to glow with energy. he shot down faster and faster and hit the ground.

OOC: No but it sound familiar.

I was so frightened and starteled when he grasped me and started to run. I don't know how but I kept pace with him, then he jumped into the air and it scared me to death then we were shooting to the ground. I thought I was going to die.....

And they were off again. Erais was startled by the fact that they hit the ground 2000 feet up and didnt die. but her thoughts were interuppted by a shriek. it was a raz'ac mount. when it touch the ground Serias stopped. "stay here he said as the raz'ac got off and sprinted towards them. he pulled back his sleeve. there where roots all over his hand. they grew and formed a sword, the hilt made of roots as well. he dashed at the raz'ac and once again became a blur. there was a very bright flash and Erais was forced to look away. when she looked. the corpses of the razac and mount lay on the ground and Serias' blade was gone, ebbed bak into his hand.

Since I was drugged so badly I passed out cold again. But right before my vision went black I saw him walk towards me.

IC:Erais woke up in a place where a golden fire blazed with the power of the gods themselves. she saw a deer, bloody and torn, all the insides out. And there was Serias, sharpening bones into points. in his other hand he help Erais' white egg. She gasped and he looked up, smiling."dont worry, im checking something." He banged the bone against the the egg, which produced a clear sound like crystal."yep, its a female," he announced boldly. "i have one and its a platinum color, although this one has a strange spell on it. Do u know what happened to it?"

OOC: Its just I was thinking but now I can. Do you mind if I be your RP a little.

"Galbatorix enchanted it right before it hatched for me and said the only way he would take it off is if I said in the anceint language I would be a rider for him. I refused so I escaped." then I fell quiet and who ever he is, went back to his work. "Can I have my egg back please." I asked, "Of course" said Serias and walked over and handed it back to me. "Why do I feel funny and can't stand." I asked as I tried getting up but failed again....

with a flick, the feeling of walking returned to Erais' legs. "as for the egg, i think i know of a spell that can take of the one on right now. just close your eyes and think of the happiest felling you can." she did, and there was a great flash of light. Erais opened here eyes and Serias smiled. "it worked,"he said."i have an egg as well, a beautiful dark silver color. both of our eggs shall hatch in 2 days time. now sleep, i see that u are tired. we shall speak again tommorow." and with that, she fell asleep.

As I woke up, there was a hint of light signaling dawn. I saw he was a wake already doing something over the fire. "I never got your name." "Its Serais. Yours Erais."

OOC: I have to get off now.

Erais looked very surprised. Serias chuckled and said, " i have known u since you were very little. I still remember your mother..." he fell silent, then continued and said,"We must go now. It is nearly dawn, and we must make it to the city of Ceris, then continue past the borders of alagaesia to reach your people. Oh, and if you were wondering, im a dark elf, and can blend in with the shadows."

"you have long ears that are pointed, although they are longer than a normal elf. not only that, ur skin is darker. i am not sure what you are. i do not know your father, only your mother. she is a dark elf,"he replied. and by the looks of it, your father was a du weldenvarden elf. or as we dark elves call them, wood elves." Erias looked startled. "my mother was a dark elf?" "yes, although she was also mixed. part dark elf, part something"

"You still haven't answeared two of my questions," I said "One how did you know my mother, and two who are you." I guess Serais was thinking becuase we just kept walking on. "Erais." Serais asked, "What," I replied, "I will answear your questions when we make camp." "Okay." I answeared a little dissapioneted. Later as the sun started to set, Serais said, "We should stop here." He said pointing to a small grove of trees. As we started camp I asked Serais, "How do you know the eggs are going to hatch tomorrow.?"....

Serias chuckled."Your brain has as many questions as billoins of grains of sand on a beach. all will come in time. i will answer one of your questions. I am an ancient chosen one from a land far away. i was chosen because of my abilities and strength." He held up the hand with the roots on it."this is the sword of the ancients, given to me by the souls of the elements. fire, ice,wind,water, and nature. I can, as i already said, blend in with shadows, but only at night." He covered his hand again."I also wear the armor of the ancients. fifty times stronger than steel, light as a feather. it is also very flexible. As for the eggs, that is very powerful magic that i may teach you in the future. right now, lets go hunt. you have a big day tomarrow, with the dragons." He flicked up his Hand of the Ancients, and the roots grew into a bow and one arrow. Erais picked up her own bow as well as her sword, and they dashed of like shadows across the land.

Thinking to himself who are these people and why do they have dragon eggs. Why have i been tracking them, a dark elf, a something else. Well why not meet them for myself while they hunt. He starts of at a swift pace wanting to meet with them before dark since if the dark elf was evil than i will stand much more of a chance in the light.

a stick cracked behind them. Serias turned and saw a ragged elf with a sword in his hand. summoning the magic of the ancients he bound the elf with very powerful magic. Erais already had an arrow drawn and was aiming. "who are u,"said the dark elf with a fierce glare."and why have u been stalking us. dont bother to try breaking that magic"he saw the elf was struggling."it will stay till u answer my questions." He looked towards the sky and saw that the sun had set behind the mountains.he turned back, saying"showtime," and dissapeared into the darkness. the magic on the elf still stayed, but Erais still had an arrow pointing at him. then she asks,"i repeat his question. what is ur name?"

"My name why not Jack" He said trying to find a way at

"Jack,"repeated a voice as a knife was put to Jacks neck."very well, where are you from and why are you following us?"

"We will not tell you whats are purpose intell you tell us yours," I said to Jack "Why should I trust you." Jack replied. "Because," I said then uncoverd my left wrist and showed him the scar. "Is that convincing enough." And Jack and Serais looked surprised.

Serias reappeared. the knife left Jack but the magic stayed. "hmmmm where did u get that scar,"the dark elf asked."i have not seen it before." he turned bak to Jack."tell us what u heard when we were talking. i knew there was someone watching." then he turned to Erais once more i have to go check on something. i will be bak soon. keep questioning him. i will release him soon enough" with that, he darted into the shadows.

"Were did you get that scar." Jack repeated. I gave a scoul then replied, "It was a gift from Galbatorixs dragon." then I sat down on a log and started asking him the normal questions. After a while I felt tired so I titened the magic binding Jack and fell asleep...

Serias came bak in the morning. Erais was still asleep. Jack was also asleep. he woke them both very quickly and noticed that Jack was unbinded. "he answered all of the questions," she explained when he asked. "so is he to be trusted or not?"

"I don't know," I said then felt a pain in my back were I had been stabbed, "For now he is." And then the pain returned but ten times worse. "Serais," I said with panic in my voice, "Serais, somethings wrong." Then I screamed with a deafening sound to it, then I started to bleed from a cut that just apeared. My vision started to go fuzzy, and I started to sway, I could feel my self start to fall. Serais looked scared.

Jack with a jump stood over Erais. THen he looked to Serais " cant you help her with magic iam un profficient with magic" She has to be helped. Jack then takes out a salve from his pack rubbing it along the wound hoping it will help.

I could hear disstant voices. Then I was out again.

OOC: I have to go now. I will be back on later.

Erais awoke on a pile of rags. Serias and Jack were talking by the fire but imediatly stopped and ran to her."what happened?" Erias asked. "the claw of the raz'acs mount had a poison on it. One called the Skilna Bragh. U were lucky i had some Tunivors Nectar, else u would probably be dead. Come and eat some stew. it will give u bak your energy." Erais looked up and saw the moon in the sky. "the eggs!" she yelled. "will hatch in 2 hours," continued Serais. Let us talk while we eat. Jack and i were just talking about the quickest way to get to Ceris."

How are you feeling? I was afraid for you it was so sudden. We will have to keep better watch from now on.

they talked while they ate, about their future plans. They amde a great team, and Jack and Erais practiced fighting. soon, it was one hour before the eggs hatched.

"So the eggs i know that she got hers by stealing it, but where did you get yours" Jack said with a questioning look.

"in the heart of Conrac mountain in the Beors..."he replied, looking very dark. Erais and Jack both looked at him. It is fat to the east of Farthen Dur.I cannot say more. the rest of it is a secret i cant tell."he stared back at them."would any of u want to spar me? i promise ill go easy."

I'll sapr you Jack replied taking out his sword.

they stood 10 feet apart, each facing the other. the sword of the ancients blazed when the flames light reflected off of it. Jak ran forward and brought down his sword in a powerful arc. Serias brought his sword up very fast, knocking Jack of balance. Serias did not continue the onslaught, and waited till his partner got up. he blured forward and morphed into a panther which rammed into Jack. Jack looked very surprised. Serias' paw came verticaly, and Jack jumped to avoid it. he slashed down, but Serias rammed into him once more with a playful growl. he was toying with Jack.

Damn he good thought Jack this ws over before it started. Jack did the best he could but Serais just kept coming hoping to catch him by surprise Jack went forward and salshed at the panthers side.

there was a clank and in fron of Jack was Serias the dark elf, grinning while holding off the blow. The golden eyes seemed to sparkle in the dying fire light. he did a weak punch, although one that sent Jack into a tree. he groan and stood bak up, summoning ward to weaken the blows of his enemy. he charged slashing at every point he could muster, but two blades alway clashed. Jack was begining to get tired. he let go of the wards, but was still tiring. when the full of energy dark elf noticed, he imediatly stopped and told him to rest. Erais' eyes were wide. 'how did u turn into a panther." "well, it is something all dark elves can do."replied Serias and began to watch the eggs."30 more minutes," he whispered and sat down.

"How are you so fast and strong" i stood no chance i couldn't even touch you.

Serias smiled"just think of it this way. im a ancient guardian, which is equal to a rider. so u were just facing something like a rider. that is how strong riders are."

"Riders cant turn into a panther and once ur egg hatches will you get stronger" Jack aked very curious to learn more about the mysterious Serais

true, but i think-"he cut off and strained his ears. he quickly put out the fire and whisper loudly'"get down and dont move!" they did, just as a black dragon flew over them.

afraid to move or talk he laid silent when the dragon passed Jack asked " was that Galbatorix or another evil rider"

"that was Galbatorix alright," he turned to Erais. "he looking for u." Erais nodded. "i can understand why." there was a thunderous roar that vibrated the very earth. "oh no! RUN!!!" yelled Serias. they grabbed their packs and he grabbed them by the arms he ran forward, once again with the blazing speed of sound. his footsteps were as silent as darkness as he pulled them over rivers and giant roots of trees. he morphed, and Erais and Jack found themselves on the back of a panther.

I was frightened once again by him taking us by surprise. "Why does he want you," Jack said with an uneasy look on his face. "Not now," I replied in a hushed tone "Once we get to saftey you'll know."...

They bounded over the land. soon the roars died away and they slowed down. "there is an encampment a little to the north. we will rest here and go-" he stopped and turned back into normal, knocking them both to the ground. "The eggs! get them out," he yelled. He flicked his wrist and a silver egg appeared that was squeking and rocking violently. As was Erais', who had taken hers out. all of their eyes were filled with shock, as the two eggs began to crack, and sitting in front of them, were 2 little dragons, one white, one silver.

I touched mine on the head, my palm glowed silver for a minute as did Serais's. "Wow, real dragons." Jack said astonished. Then mine started to snuggle me. I looked at Serais and said, "You still haven't told me WHO you were, and how did you know my mother." I said then started again compleatly off topic. "What should there names be." I asked Serais. "Umm What is your dragons gender." I asked Serais...

"male...Chronum,"whisper Serias. "that will be his name. Chronum the Silverhide."He turned to Jack. "i want you to swear in the ancient language that u will tell no one of this event." Jack nodded and did as he was told. The dragons were magneficent. they played with eachother, flapping their little wings."they are wonderous creature,"said Erais. "what will u name it?"came Serias' voice.

"Ummm, what about Erador." I said then my dragon raised her head and started to shake her head as if saying yes, then in my mind 'I like it' I jumped startled. Then continued "And this time," I started to say which caught them off gaurd, "Please answear me this time, WHO are you and how did you know my mother."

"i already told u who i am. i knew ur mother becuase she lived next to me. i remember u when u were little. one of your eyes is your mothers, the other is ur fathers,"replied Serais. "it is a sign that says u have an intertwined fate and power."

"What do you mean," I said, "An intertwind fate." He looked a bit nervous.

u have a choice of which path in life to choose. u can either choose a dark elf fate, or a wood elf fate."came the answer.

"Umm come again." I said with a puzzled look on my face, "What does that mean. And I might have more then two, you know."

"no, one thing is certain. u will either live with dark, or wood elves." he looked toward the sleeping dragons."but meanwhile, we must protect them. they are our future. we must move onward. Come!" He grabbed them and off they rode on a panther till they reached the encampment.

The whole while I thought over this confused jumble of news. That night I didn't eat or talk. I sat down with Erador on my lap, I was feeding her. I must have looked like I wasn't there because Jack asked me, "Are you okay." the only reply was silence.

Serias gave Erais a plate."if u dont eat, u will fall over tomorrow. now eat."Erais looked up at his smiling face. "thank u Serias, u have helped me much." "a vow is a vow,"was all he said and continued to feed Chronum, who grew so fast, they barely even counted the days.

while cleaning my sword all of the suden i felt somthing powerful with my mind, ciourios{sp} as to what it was i got up and started running soundlessly till i saw fire light. As i stopped i thought to myself "could this be the Ra'zac?" as i got closer i saw three figures two male and one female. I could tell that one of them was a dark elf, whach made me wary, and the other two i could not really make out.As i contiuned to get closer the dark elf senced my presence and i stayed as still as i could wiating for him to do somthing.

suddenly, a invisible hand grasped her by the neck and she was pulled toward the dark elf. 'tahw evah ew ereh?" said the male and the dark elf females grinned. suddenly, the magic let go and Serias was by her side. "What the-"began the male, but Serias silenced him.

"What is i..." I trailled off feeling the reason why Serais quietly got up, 'Who is it' Erador asked. "Quiet," I replied out loud, then I new that it was stupid because she (Who ever she was) saw the dragons...

"SERIAS!"yelled the female dark elves together and cheered. this stunned Erais. she never thought dark elves could show such emotion. "stay here,"Serias told Erais and he went to talk with his kin in the tent. Erias was scared. she called Erador to her, who was followed by Chronum and Jack. The dark elves greeted Jack normally, but they exclaimed when they saw the dragons.

"i would like u to meet Jack and Erais. they have been traveling with me. can u please point out the way to Zendoran? i quite forgot where it is." "of course, ancient one. i shall go look at the map." The male dissapeared inside the tent. he came out a moment later, saying,"go up north till u reach a stream, then follow it until u reach the outpost." "thank u"said Serias. he turned and nodded them forward, so they continued up north.

It started to get dark. "When can we stop for camp." I said yawning a bit. "Soon." I shrugged...

they made camp a few paces away from the river, where the ground was dry. they watched the dragons dive in and out of the water. night had fallen, but their beautiful scales reflected in the moonlight.

"Your dragons are beautiful" Jack said watching them dive in and out of the water with bawe

"thanks,"said Serias. im going to go train. 'come'he said to Chronum with his mind and they went off to do flying acrobatics

"Me to," I said then walked away with Erador.

Jack yelled,"wait i wanna watch.' "ok" said Erais. they walked to the area where Chronum and Serias was training.

Jack sat and made himself comfortable wathching the flying dragon riders wit curiosity

"wanna have a race?"Serias asked Erais."sure"came the reply and they began. both Chronum and Erador were fast and finished the race at the same time. "i need to spar someone,"he grumbled.

"Spar me," I said grinning. "I am not going to go easy on you." Then we started. We were matched perfectly. When I lunged at him he blocked. When he plunged at me I blocked it. We both had bruises in the same places. And the same number.

"u are pretty good. too bad i went easy on u,"answered serias.

''I don't belive you did.'' I said grinning. ''That was your best. I know. I've improved just by watching you." We headed back to camp...

"heh....no if i were to show my best..."he paused and didnt continue."i would be too strong and lose control of power. it happened. once. i dont want it to happen again. Next time, wear armor. ill wear mine." they both laughed and continued eating while Jack swam with the dragons in a river.

"What happened when you lost control?" I asked...

"that is something i cannot say. it will sadden u alot."he looked down. "when i turn into my true form, i gain the abilityto form 99% of my strength into an energy ball. it is the most powerful magic in all of time, and reduces anything it touches to ashes."

"Oh." I said then returned eating. That night I had a dream, I was walking with Serais and Jack. Then two arrows came and were about to hit them both when a voice said. "Come with me or they die. They won't beable to stop it. Meet me in the cave." I woke up surprised to find tears on my eyes. I quietly gathered my stuff, I woke up Erador. I was getting on when Serais grabbed my arm...

"i saw ur dream. i meditate when i sleep to check if everything is all right. dont worry, i cant die. im immortal. that was galbatorix talking to u. we have to worry about Jack." he looked around," Oh no...where did he go?"

"I can't." I said then took advantage of his loosened grip and took off. In the early dawn...

Serias found a gasping Jack on the lake bed. "the dragons flew to the south to the mountains. they promised to return." Serias nodded. "lets go find Erias. i let her go so we could find where her dream led to . they ran in the direction of her power, feeling her get closer at every moment.

When they turned a corner all they found was my amulet giving off the energy. Jack picked it up. "What does this mean." He asked, then turned to Serais who looked scared. "Its almost immpossible to find her with out that." "Why?" asked Jack. It gives her most of her strength. "It was her moms."...

"well... there is only one way i can find her. I will hasve to show my full form. it detect any life around the globe. Serias roared and he gained spkies on his back and claws. "she is at the Cave of Senecobra, the ancient proccessor. follow me." he ran, and this time, he could find he no matter what she did.

"What do you want." I said at the person in front of me. "You." It replied. "Why, you don't work for Galbatorix." He uncoverd his head. I gasped and passed out...

Serias turned to his normal self as he saw a figure of a male standing over a woman. he looked their was and drew his sword, but Srrias was too fast. he dashed forward at the speed of sound and stabbed the figure it screamed and passed out. Serias shook Erias gently. "wake up "he said.

"What?" I moaned, "Your okay he will be out and most likely die." "No," I whsipered look closley at him. He looks just like me." Jack and Serais looked. They both stood there...

"ARAS!"yelled Serias as he bounded over to the injured elf. "he is ur twin brother. i remember!" he quickly healed the wound.

"What?" I said. THen passed out again. One from the wound I got. And because of the news.

OOC: I have to let my sister check e-mail then I will be back on.

Erias woke up on a plain. the forest was far away, and mountian larger than the beors were to the north. Aras was next to her, asleep. Serias and jack were talking, and looked up when he sighed.

I bolted up. "Serais." "What?" "Did you happen to get my amulet?" I said a bit panicked...

"yes we did. do not worry, ill never lose ur mothers prized posesstion. put it on, u will get ur strength back." she did

"Thanks." I replied. "Oh and I am sorry if I caused worry. I just had to see who it was that caused that dream. I new it wasn't Galbatorix."...

yes, that is a dark elf twin power; they can comunicate without magic," said Serias. Jack asked,"why didnt u know it was Aras at first?" "becuase he had changed"

Aras sat up. "So what happened. All I can remeber is being stabbed." Aras asked Serais.
