If Galby gets stronger every day then how will Eragon beat him . Eragon only has one dragon's heart of hearts and Galby has hundreds.

Yeah it probably would, but it just seems quite impossible for Eragon to beat galby. Galby also has Thorn and Murtagh on his side, so Eragon has two dragon riders to deal with.

Maybe the Varden lose?

I forgot about what the werecat said to Eragon, but I still don't see how he will get past Thorn and Murtagh. He lost the first time they fought but won the second time-and that was with the help of twelve spellcasters. Murtagh and Eragon are just as good as each other and he might have to get past them to get to Galby.

I think part of it will be removing the Eldunari from being under Galby's control. Maybe that's what the Werecats will be for im sure there used to sneakin around. Once that happens it should be easy pickins for Eragon from there.

I think there are more werecats and that they play a big part in Book Four.

There's a chapter in Book Four called 'King Cat' (something like that), and I think that is to do with the werecats - Pandaemon made up a thread about werecats in living in The Spine and that is how he thinks Galbatorix lost half his army in The Spine. And I agree with him. What else could have happened to Galbys army, and for that to be mentioned in the books it means that it will probably pop up again later. CP doesn't put any old rubbish in his books, what he writes is likely to appear again.

And the werecats will probably help in the killing of Galby somehow.

Also, there is probably hundred of werecats in The Spine. If this theory is true- which I think it is.

That is my reason why I said they would play a big part in Book Four.

I hate it when the good guys win and every one live happily ever after! The Varden SHOULD lose, and maybe that is why Eragon leaves Alagaesia and never comes back.

Well, if it doesn't end like that - he better end it really good some other way... Nasuada dies! That would do Alagaesia a lot of help!

He might have to do that but I think at the last minute Murtagh will do something heroic to get rid of Galbatorix.

If there is two more books after Book Four, then maybe the Varden's first attempt fails? And they have to try again.

And it is unlikely for Murtagh to live...

In the books after Galby's death that'll be when Eragon leaves probably.

What I was saying was that the topic is called ' How will ERAGON beat Galbatorix ' - well I think it wont be Eragon that kills Galby, it'll be someone else. I know I created the name of the topic but I should have called it - ' How Will Galbatorix Die'.

I think Murtagh well better than Eragon - so yeah, he should definitely finish off Galby, and that will also show that he is still good.

Eragon is Murtagh's friend so after Galby's death - he'll ask for him to be on their side maybe. He also needs to regain his honour a bit...

That's the most likely option for CP - to kill Murtagh, but how?

Maybe he'll jump in front of Galby's blade - distract him - and Eragon finishes the bad guy off?

If it's a magic fight - Eragon's lost...

A couple of magicians?... Eragon has twelve of them - because he's such a weakling!

Saphira should bite off Galby's head and be done with!

Eragon could get a servant to poison Galby's food - a bit like Brom, who managed to get into Morzan's castle.

That could happen though - poison Galby's favourite food and the job is done and dusted.

Dont you remember one of the first things that Oromis taught Eragon was how to detect poison... Galby's Training is much more extensive than Eragons not to mention he must be paranoid about such things.. I dont think poison will be what gets him.

He could rip up on a rock and snap his neck.
Poison.
Eragon killing him.
Murtagh coming up behind him a beheading him.
Saphira eating him...

..........................
...and so on.

It would be funny if one one of is servants asked for a fight and he smashed Galby.

I doubt Eragon would mount his head - he's too kind and with all that stuff about dead men haunting his dreams and that...

Hehe =P I was talking about the sword Brisingr and not the spell. But in away the spell as well, because the sword has a connection with the spell since it can generate fire. But then again the spell and the sword are two different things. But they are still forge together.

If Galby did loose and Eragon won - Eragon wouldn't kill him because or his too good nature so If they decide to put Galby in prison he could escape with his magic. There for Eragon would need to strip Galby of his powers.
