OOC: Red, Draco, Aeraldi, this RP is going to be some time after the Epic, so he will know all of you already.

IC:
Eschelon walked out of his sub-terranian home, underneath the mountains of the Hadarac desert. His immense bulk, barely squeezing through the tunnels. For the first time in many years, the ancient dragon looked up at the Sun. It was beautiful. He felt the breeze for the first time in more than two hundred years. He felt the warm sand beneath his feet. He let out a happy roar that echoed across the sandy landscape for miles. He leapt into the air, and soared, well below the clouds. His flow flight, was made so enjoyable because of the warmth of the Sun. He flew to what looked like some sort of fortress. It was olf, not as old as he was, but still quite old. He landed in front of the fortress and said, May I gain entrance here?

OOC: He is at the "dragon fortress" so, Royal family... or I can just edit it. lolz.

OOC: Of course Ecylon is welcome! Eschelon would think she was cool! lol. Eeryone is welcome.

OOC: Hope you guys don't mind if I join.

IC: Emrhyst's spirit smiled as she heard the voice of the living. She perched herself on one of the sand dunes in the fortress and looked out. To others, she might have appeared as a ghostly emerald colored dragon. She had gone ahead of her Indlvarn as a scout. Eriel trailed closely behind on foot.
The elf smiled and approached the apparition of her dragon. Both entities smiling at each other as if Emrhyst had never died, they slowly set off towards the fortress. The blue crystal on Emrhyst glowed faintly as they approached the it, as if rejoicing that it was coming home.

OOC: This is just Faefnir's fortress, Eriel. The Dragon Fortress is in the Beors. Or did you know that, and I just wasn't sure what you meant? lol oh well.

IC: Solarae nodded. That could be useful, I guess, she said to Elcyon. She listened as Eschelon spoke more. Really? Sounds like they were pretty cool. They're still cool though, considering who lives here. Hmm, visitors? What "visitors" disturbed you? She replied to the huge dragon. Solarae turned away for a few moments, catching another scent, the scent of an elf. Hey, who's out there? I can smell you, she called out into the desert. Whoever it was was being blocked from view by the large cliffs.

OOC: We skipped Eril, but Eril, you need to be more active or someone will have to god-mod your charries out of the story.

OOC:
@ Drac: Oh I see. I'll edit the post.
@ Voenth: From what I know, I go after Drac. Since I only had barely half an hour to make my turn before Astral posted, and I happen to be in school then, how am I supposed to make a post? Pray, tell me how?

OOC: Thanks for editing, and you can go now, Eriel. We'll just make sure you get your turn in after me in the next round. (And don't worry about voenth, he's just impatient. )

Emrhyst laughed to herself. My my, aren't they excited?
Eriel smiled gently. 'Get back in there.' She laughed. Emrhyst prumed as she faded away, back into her Eldunari.
Eriel walked slowly to the top of the cliff where Emrhyst was just standing and surveyed her surroundings. Caution grew as she spotted several dragons near Faefnir's fortress.
Projecting her thoughts outward, she called out, 'Who is there?' At the same time, the eldunari pulsed, ready for action.

OOC: Sorta like a pass post.

OOC: I wasn't talking about that, I was saying that because in many RPGs, you have been gone for quite a few days, else there would not be so many "Your turn Eril." posts. I was just warning you.

OOC: I know it sounds messed up, but Astral, your turn.

OOC: I think it'd be fine if you went and then we just resumed the real order. (As in you, then me, then Eriel, then Astral.) Besides, Astral's gonna be gone for a few days anyway, so she can't post now.

OOC: Ok, but I am going to be gone some too, I got a job... lolz, and school is killing me, so I won't be able to reply as much as before...

IC:
No one but myself and some friends. said Eschelon as he flapped his giant wings and glided over to the elf. He stared at her with a large silver eye. He said, I am called Eschelon what are you called? said the tan colored dragon to both the elf and the dragon in the eldunari. He watched as the elf stared at him.

OOC: Yes, sure, then I will go, then the order will be
Voenth
Draco
Eril
Astral.

OOC: But I'm not falling? o.o I'm standing on ice...

OOC: Well, then you are now that the ball of air has blown both you and me far from each other.

OOC: Not quite the point but okay. I'll take it as you have knocked me off my ice platform I guess...
I hope this isn't too much of a god-mode.
Sides, I never said you got his by the spell so, feel free to dodge, teleport somewhere else... yea.

IC: Just as she destroyed the last of the shadow magic around her, a ball of compressed air hit her heavily on the thigh, causing her to enter a confused, tumbled roll mid-air.
The pain that came from the hit almost incapacitated her, especially amplified by the remnants of her scar.
She hid the pain and put on a blank mask.
The ground raced up to meet her.
Wake up!Emrhyst screamed into her Indlvarn's mind.
Eriel groggily shook her head then, instinct kicking in, compressed the air below her as a cushion.
She still landed hard.
"Ouch..." The elf muttered and quickly healed a bruise, only to find her dodging out of the fire that Tamar blew at her.
She raised her hand with her blackened Gedway Ignasia. It shone brightly now.
Eriel grinned as a knowing look crossed Arnon's face.
He now knew she was no mere elf.
Wings of pure magic formed on her back as the elf reached into the deepest parts of her.
She froze the air around dragon and rider.
"Now, know the meaning of the word 'fire'"
The elf spoke with the tongue of dragons and then said in her mind, "Aiedail Brisingr."
A raging inferno of pure heat formed above Arnon's head and crashed downwards.

OOC: O.O
Wow. How thick are those scales? xD

IC: Eriel frowned. She hadn't expected the dragon to survive that blaze.
She smelled burning scales but no flesh. The elf wrinkled her nose. "Well, at least that got rid of the rider, for now..." She muttered, looking sidelong.
It wasn't long before the real world crashed back to her when Tamar roared.

Emrhyst grinned. I think we should move...
Eriel paused and just stared at the raging dragon.
'Yea I agree...' She laughed and, just before the dragon hit her, teleported a few meters to her right, watching on as the massive hunk of meat hit the sand.

That wasn't too bad I guess. Emrhyst teased.
Eriel didn't reply and looked on at the dragon.
Raising her left hand, she bound the dragon to the sand by fusing its hardest materials. That at least, she thought, would keep her still for awhile.

The wings on her back dissipated as elf and dragon separated from each other.
Turning to Eschalon, the elf said, "Are you able to bring Elcyon back to the ground?

OOC: Astralwing, it is your turn.

OOC: I guess it's Eriel's turn in this one. (Sorry I'm just going back and forth through forums so that I can make sure I post in the ones that I'm in)

OOC: I think we will skip Eriel for the time being, Draco has she been on in a while, cause if she has not then I would ask you, (being that you have known her the longest) to GM her out of the story if thats cool.

OOC: No she hasn't been on in quite a while. I'll GM her out of the story for now.

IC: Eriel continued to use a few healing spells to relieve the last of her injuries, but the dull ache from her scar would not be removed so easily. She peered off in the distance, but there was no more sign of the evil dragoness or of her shadows. All seemed safe for the meantime. She noticed Solarae eyeing her with concern and shook her head. "I'll be fine. Just a bit tired. Actually, I think I have to get going. I was headed north before I got here, back to Du Weldenvarden, and it looks like you all are safe for now," she began, glancing between all of the dragons. Emrhyst extended a tendril of warmth to each of them as well as the elf prepared to say her farewells. "It was a pleasure meeting you all and fighting with you. I would do it again in a heartbeat," she said, adding a more formal goodbye in the Ancient Language for good measure. Eriel turned away from the group and began heading out into the desert, happy to have found new allies. Of course, if she or Emrhyst sensed the red dragoness heading back toward them, she might just decide to turn around, but for now all was peaceful.

OOC: Thanks for telling me where it was Voenth. XD lol I shall go now.

IC:

Elcyon bowed her head, feeling incredibly shameful. It wasn't the first time something like this had happened, and putting her new friends in danger not on her accord was no excuse. She had been told this had happened already once or twice before, but she chose to ignore it. Now her friends could have paid the price for her ignorance.

I...I...I'm so sorry, she whispered, on the verge of tears. I didn't mean any of it, honest. I would never hurt anyone. I'm cursed, a dark side of me wants to break free, but I have no control over it. It's no excuse, I know, but that's all I can say. El turned and said goodbye to Eriel, thankful once again they were all strong enough to stop her and the other dragon. I'll be okay, once I recover mentally that the fact you were all in danger because of me. She looked away, guilt washing over her in waves that tormented her ever second. I understand if you want me to go away, I wouldn't blame you, any of you for that matter. She waited for what they were going to say next.
